One Girl Two Mates
Chapter 11

DIEGO POV

"Mmm." She moaned as she ate her fifth taco.

I was released from the hospital after two hours, I was completely healed. I was shocked to see there were no scars left. My little mate continues to surprise me. I watched her as we sat at the dining table. She was enjoying genuine street tacos for the first time. "Are they really that good?" I was used to this food, these were things I always ate growing up.

"Yes! It's delicious!" She sucked the juices from the barbacoa meat off of her fingers.

"You are so beautiful." I smiled as I sipped my wine. She paused with a mouthful of taco, her cheeks turned pink.

"I'm literally stuffing my face." She laughed off my compliment, I couldn't help it, she looked like a goddess.

"Alpha, may I have a word with you?" I looked up to see Eric, my Beta, looking at me with a worried expression.

"I'll meet you in my office." He nodded his head respectfully as he made his way up to my office. I turned to see my little mate staring at me wide eyed.

"I just have something to deal with, I'll be back soon. Please don't leave the pack house on your own." I cupped her cheek and kissed her forehead.

"Okay." She smiled up at me and I had to force myself to leave her. I made my way up to my office, trying not to worry about whatever Eric needs to tell me. "What is it, Eric?" I asked as I stepped into my office.

"Alpha Ethan has called an emergency Alpha meeting." I raised my brow at him as I took my seat behind my desk.

"Did he say why?"

"His Luna was attacked by a rogue." I shot up from my seat.

"What?"

"Yes Alpha, it happened the same day that our Luna was attacked." My brows furrowed, I reached up stroking my short beard.

"It's gotta be connected, is the Luna okay?" A grimace crossed his face.

"She's still in the hospital, she has too many injuries for her wolf to heal at once."

"F**k." I gazed out the window.

"The meeting is in an hour." Eric said.

"We're bringing Liliana with us."

"Yes Alpha." I listened as Eric retreated from my office.

I held Liliana's hand as we made our way up the steps of Midnight Moon pack house. I stopped as Lili paused and tugged on my hand. "Yes, mi amor?" I looked into her big green eyes.

"Could I go visit the Luna in the hospital?" She rolled her bottom lip between her teeth.

"Are you going to heal her?" I asked in a low voice. She nodded her head, staring at me with pleading eyes.

"I don't want people knowing of your powers." I cupped her cheek, disappointment crossed her face.

"What if I just do a small boost? Not fully healing her, just speed things up." She held onto the hand that I had cupping her cheek.

"Okay, baby, use your mind thing if you need me." I kissed her forehead gently.

"I will!" She ran off down the stairs after I instructed Eric to escort her to the pack hospital. As I turned to walk up the stairs a smell caught my attention. I looked up and almost staggered backwards when my eyes met his. I hadn't seen Rafael Garcia since I was a teenager, I was still discovering myself back then. I had found him attractive, but I always assumed he was straight. Why is scent affecting me the way Liliana's affects me? Why am I resisting the urge to claim him in front of all of these people? How is he my mate too? RYAN POV

I stared up at the gate of the Driscoll mansion. I took a deep breath and let it out slowly as I climbed out of my car. There's a very big possibility I'll be murdered today. "What business do you have here, wolf?" A tall woman with ringlet blonde hair and intimidating red eyes appeared beside the gate.

"I've come to ask some questions."

"What kind of questions?" When I blinked she stood before me, almost causing me to jump. She was gorgeous, like all vampires are, it's how they reel in their prey.

"I have a friend who was adopted and I'm trying to replace her mother." I spoke calmly as the vampire circled me.

"Is your friend a vampire?" She asked slowly.

"Half vampire."

"Claudia, quit teasing the poor wolf." I heard a soft feminine voice say. When I looked up my heart stopped, everything around me froze.

"Mate." I mumbled as I dropped to my knees.

"Well, well, well, this just got interesting." A third voice from somewhere said. All I saw was her, she looked like an angel. Her long blonde hair flowed around her, her blue-green eyes bore into mine. The look on her face showed worry and hesitation. "You're my promised." Her voice was like music to my ears.

"I'm yours." Was all I could muster to say.

"Well lover boy, let's move this inside so we can answer your questions." Claudia said as she tugged me by my collar, pulling me up to stand.

They brought me back to the mansion. The inside was decorated in dark reds and shades of black, typical vampire aesthetic.

"What are your questions?" Claudia asked as she flopped back onto the black, leather sofa. I stared at my angel, hoping I didn't look ridiculous. "What's your name?" I asked the angel that stood before me.

"Charlotte." She giggled.

"I'm Ryan." When she blushed I noticed a light spray of freckles on her cheeks.

"And I'm the Goddess Lilith herself, can we please get to the f*****g questions?" Claudia snapped sarcastically.

"Ryan, what questions did you have?" Charlotte asked with a beautiful smiled that showed her sharp canines.

"I'm trying to replace a friend's birth mother." Claudia and Charlotte glanced at each other.

"You think it's one of us?" Charlotte asked with a raised brow.

"I have a list of people that I'm going through, don't you have another sister?"

"Yes, Catherine, but she's married and only has two children." Claudia said, sounding bored of the conversation.

"Neither of you have had any children?" I glanced between the two women.

"Well if I had a baby I would've kept it." Claudia rolled her eyes. I looked over to see Charlotte's brows furrowed, she cupped her jaw, lost in thought.

"Charlotte?" Her head snapped up.

"Yes?"

"Do you know anything that might help us?" She glanced around and nibbled her bottom lip.

"I used to be close to Diana Bellerose when I was younger. Her older sister, Daria, had been promised to a vampire lord, but it fell through and suddenly Diana was sent to marry the lord. Diana told me that her sister had gotten knocked up." My eyebrows rose, could this be the Luna's mother?

"Do you have any way of talking to Diana?" I asked.

"I'm sure I could replace a way." She smiled at me and it made my heart pound in my chest.

"Ugh, I'm gonna run away from you two love birds." Claudia groaned as she zoomed out of the room. I slowly walked towards Charlotte, my body was screaming to touch her. In a flash she stood before me, causing my breath to hitch.

"I've never been with a wolf before." She giggled with amusement.

"After today I'll be the only man you'll ever be with again." A possessive growl rumbled lowly in my chest.

"Is that so, wolf boy?" She c****d an eyebrow as me. There was a mischievous glint in her eyes.

"Yes." I said as I reached out to stroke her cheek, but before I could reach her, she'd disappeared.

"So slow." She smirked, standing by the fireplace. A playful growl rumbled in my chest.

"I have work I need to do." I groaned as I glanced at the clock.

"Awe come on, no time to play?" She was in front of me once again. Her ice cold hand ran down my face, sending shivers down my spine.

"Charlotte..." I groaned as her hand traveled down my chest. I could feel her coldness through the fabric.

"We can be quick." She peered up at me through her lashes.

"There will never be anything quick between us, I'll always take my time with you." I smiled as she finally let me cup her cheek.She felt like porcelain under my skin, I was almost afraid to touch her. She leaned forward, her lips barely touching mine. "Why don't you show me?" She giggled, stepping away from me. I almost fell over, totally entranced by her. When I stepped forward she zoomed to the front door, throwing it open.

"Come and replace me." She giggled as she disappeared through the door.

RAFAEL POV

Alma was hanging all over my arm, I was trying my hardest not to throw her off. I had decided to take her as a chosen mate and Luna. My plan for my real mate was going to come full circle. I was surprised once again to receive an invitation from Alpha Ethan. We weren't necessarily allies, maybe he was trying to create a relationship between our packs. My thoughts were halted when I saw her from where I stood by my car. She looked beautiful in her purple sundress, her smile lighting up her entire face. I watched as she walked away with a tall hispanic man, it looked like the Beta from Dark Wood. When I lifted my eyes they locked with Diegos. It felt like all the air was sucked out of my lungs. I bit down on my tongue so hard I tasted blood, I refused to let the word escape my lips. I refused to believe that he was my mate.

Santi. I mindlinked my Beta.

Yes Alpha? He replied instantly.

Plans have changed. I snarled in Diegos direction, hurt crossed his features. I felt a light twinge in my heart, but quickly ignored it.
