Chapter 15 Athena's POV

When entering Maya's room, I was beyond shocked, it was as if I was entering the suite of a Luna for it was extremely spac***s and beautiful which in comparison to mine was a little lacking. "Maya..your room.. It's beautiful" I tell her, moving to look around as I did, my fears momentarily forgotten.

"Please, this room is nothing compared to some of the other rooms that I've seen" replies Maya, as she moves to enter her closet, hoping her outfits were still in there as she leaves me to my thoughts. "What have I gotten myself into' I say, hoping Artemis had heard it and would have some kind of insight to it.

"Nothing, I think this is the Moon Goddess's way of helping, For she's seen our struggles and this is her way of helping by having the Alpha invite us to dinner and to the ball' is all Artemis says. HOW do you know?" I ask.

"Just trust me, okay' was all she said.

Fine... I mumble just as Maya returns, carrying clothes with her as she did.

"Okay, I think I have everything but before we do this, you need to go shower" exclaims Maya as she shoo's me towards the bathroom. "Also, don't worry about feeling guilty about using my stuff, I keep extra stuff for when I have guests over so please, feel free to use whatever you see fit. I keep extra razors and toothbrushes in the cabinet as well as extra towels".

"Okay, Okay" I laugh as I move to enter her bathroom, making sure to grab an extra razor and toothbrush from the cabinet like suggested before moving to get ready, removing my clothes as 1

No sense in having poor hygiene, I muse as I move to s**e parts of my body like my legs, underarms as well as my lady part as nobody liked a hairy ***nt, even though I typically kept it either trimmed or sh***ed.

Once done with the s***ing, I move to quickly brush my teeth while grabbing an extra loofa, all while walking over to the shower and setting the water to my preferred temperature. With that done, I move to rinse my mouth out once done with brushing my teeth, a sigh escaping past my lips as I then move to step under the water, letting the water fall all along my body as my eyes

move to scan the different type of soaps and shampoos that Maya currently had on displayed.

"Hmm, lets see" I mumble as I slowly move to read each label only to see one that had lavender, chamomile and ylang-ylang in it, giving it a soothing effect as I move to pour it onto the loofa before lathering it all over my body purring at the scent as I did. "Heavens" I groan, unable to stop myself. "This body wash smells divine." Once washed from top to bottom, I move to rinse it off having enjoyed the wonderful scent as it calmed me in ways I couldn't have imagined. "This is heaven' purrs Artemis who had also loved the scent of lavender.

"Agreed, we'll have to ask her where she got it from I say as I move to look at the Shampoos and Conditioners next, once positive I had completely removed the soap from my body. "Ooo, what's this one?" I wondered when I read one that had Blackberries and Quinoa in it, causing me to pop the cap only to purr at the lovely scent of blackberries hitting my nose.

"We definitely need this' purrs Artemis who was loving every scent like I was.

Demely okay there?" asks Maya from the other end of the door.

'is all I can say as we move to wash our hair only to hear a knock at the door as we did.

"Yes" I shout to her, moving to rinse out the shampoo before quickly adding the conditioner before rinsing that too from my hair as I move to turn off the water, reaching for the large fluffy white towel as I did, and quickly drying myself off before wrapping it around my body. "Done" is all I say as I move to exit the bathroom, only to see Maya who was now eyeing me in

I almost thought I needed to come in and rescue you" giggles Maya with a smile.

I was sh***g before jumping into the shower only to fall in love with your body wash and shampoo" I gushed, unable to get over the smells.

"My word.." laughs Maya. "I'm glad you like them, would you like for me to order you some?"

"Could you?" I ask, suddenly excited about the scents.

"Of course, now then let's get you ready before your uncle comes looking for you" is all Maya says as the moves to start on my hair, gently moving to blow dry it until no longer damp before moving to add soft curls with a curling iron giving my hair a whole new look as she did, making sure to add tiny hair pins for added sparkle. 2/4

Chapter 15 "Whoa" I

"I whisper as I take in the hair do as well as the dainty clips.

"Like?" she asks, my eyes moving to catch hers within the mirror. "Yes"

my only reply, too lost in the feeling of being pampered for once.

"Good" and with that she moves to finish up the hair before moving on to makeup, adding tiny bits of eye shadow and mascara to the eyes as well as a pink lipstick to make the lips pop.

"Perfect" purrs Maya, happy with her work as my eyes grow wide, unable to recognize my reflection within the mirror all thanks to the new hair and makeup.

"Maya..your..you're amazing" 1 exclaim as I move to look at her.

"It was nothing sweetheart, you deserve this and more" smiles Maya as she moves to gather the

clothes from earlier. "Now then, onto the clothes",

Smiling. I quickly move to grab the clothes before moving to put them on, noticing that the first item was a pale lace blue bra and matching panty making me wonder how Maya knew my style and size only to push it away as I quickly put it on. Once done, I move to grab the next item only to notice it was a royal blue silk satin dress with a scoop neckline.

"Oh

my

goodness..." I breathe, noticing how soft the dress felt against my skin as it hugged me in all the right places while accentuating my curves perfectly.

"Maya, this-this is too much" I say breathlessly, turning to look at her while trying not to cry.

"Nonsense, this dress was made for you, as is the other one, but we'll worry about that one

tomorrow, for now take this moment to just relax and be pampered like the Luna that you are" is

all Maya says to me which causes me to sniffle.

"No crying"

"S-Sorry" I mutter as I fan a hand in front of my face, trying hard not to cry as Maya moves to reveal beautiful silver shoes with a dainty strap.

"These are your shoes for the night" explains Maya as she moves to hand me the heels in which I move to put on before doing a final once over.

"I-I think I'm ready" I breathe, taking it all in slowly, everything from the hair to the makeup to clothes.

"Not quite" is all I hear as Maya moves to add a tiny teardrop diamond pendant around my neck. as well as adding matching earrings to boot. "Now you're ready". 3/4 Chapter 15

With that said, Maya moves to lead me back towards my family and the Alpha of the pack as well as all the guests who would be joining us for the evening as this was a formal dinner and everyone. had to look the part including me.

"Please Moon Goddess" I whisper as I slowly follow Maya. "Please let my mate be here and for my family not to be as***s this evening, please." And with that as my final plea, all I can do is hope that I move to do everything right so that my family would not replace a reason to embarrass me at tonight's dinner. Chapter Comments
