Athena's POV

After parting ways with Maya, I slowly make my way towards the dining hall and to where my family would be waiting for me as I had been told by uncle that I was needed to attend, for what I had no clue just that I had to be there or else. 'Any idea as to why we're needed' I moved to ask Artemis once more, hoping she would have an

answer.

Unfortunately I do not answers Artemis as I continue on my way, unaware of all the attention I was receiving.

"My, My, look at what the cat dragged in or should I say wolf" purrs a voice, causing me to halt as I turn to see Brian who slowly saunters up to me. "What do you want Brian?" I ask, trying not to cause a scene between us..

"Why?" I all but growled knowing I was playing with fire as Brian grips tighter but not tight enough to leave a bruise if one was to look,

"Easy there, wouldn't want me to do something drastic would you?" glares Brian, who had no problem showing me his ability which sends shivers down my spine as I move to reign in my temper. "N-No... I'm sorry" I whisper as I move to advert my gaze. "Good" smirks Brian as he moves to lean forward, making sure to take in a big whiff of my scent, his smirk growing as he moves to whisper something within my ear. "You smell delicious Athena, I think tonight you and I should have some fun, don't you? Maybe David and Shane can join us"

At the mention of David and Shane, I can't help but shiver as they were both next in line to be Gamma and Delta just as Brian was next in line to be Beta which made those three a powerhouse. "Please..." I whimpered, not wanting to be touched by them as Brian continued to hold my face. "Please what" growls Brian, his grip now holding tighter as his eyes narrow slightly.

"Please.. I'm a good girl" I tell him, hoping he would spare me tonight like he had done the day before when I spent almost the entire day decorating the ballroom..

"I'll try' is all I say to her just as the Alpha explains that once he and his family were seated then we would be seated according to rank in which I would be placed next to Brian and then David as was the next Gamma followed by Shane and then their parents,

"Yes" I ask, noticing that it was the Alpha's as he had turned his attention towards me.

"Did you hear me? I said you'll be sitting with Brian and his friends" comes the Alpha's reply making me pale as I'm now forced to shit with them while being at the mercy of their touch. "O-Of course, Alpha" I mutter, a glare showing on my uncle's face for not being more responsive when the Alpha had spoken.

"Good girl" remarks the Alpha, making me cringe as I begin to notice that the dining hall was now packed as everyone who had gathered there was now seated, the Alpha and Luna slowly moving to enter the hall who was then followed by Jacob and Diana and then by my Uncle and his mate

along with the current Gamma and Delta, leaving only me, Brian, David and Shane to enter last.

"Ladies first" chuckles Brian as he nudges me forward my head held down as I slowly made my way towards the table unaware of eyes that had slowly began to watch me from afar as I gently move to take my seat, Brian sitting on one side of me and Shane and David on the other.

'Mates' purrs Artemis, Brian and his group forgotten as she moves to pick up the faint smell of Chocolate along with Caramel and slight Ocean Breeze and Coffee. "Mates?" I ask, keeping my head turned towards my family as I dare not look for those delicious smells, afraid that they would reject me before giving me a chance like Jacob. 'Yes, mates.. The Moon Goddess has given us two answers Artemis, wanting nothing more than her mates. Oh my' is all I can say as I move to think of what it would be like to have two mates instead of just one.

"What are you thinking about?" whispers Brian as he gently squeezed my thigh when he noticed a blush along my cheeks.

"N-Nothing" I whispered back, hoping he wouldn't ask again.

Brian, as he grips tighter, making me uncomfortable as he did.

hand higher, his hand pushing my dress up slightly, thankful no one else could see from where we were sitting or of our position at the table. Feeling where the hand is I cringe only more, wanting to flee but knowing that I couldn't without embarrassing the Alpha of our pack. "I'm going to rip his hand off growls Artemis in fury.

"No, you can't. You'll only get me into more trouble if we embarrass the Alpha' I tell her not wanting to do that as another hand slides higher than Brian's almost to were it was touching my p****y making me glance to see it was Shane who all but smirks as there was once a time where Shane and David were actually nice to me neither of them touching me until tonight. 'Don't be fooled by appearance' reminds Artemis who knew they couldn't be trusted because under all pretense they were still wolves and like all wolves they had urges.

"I know" I mutter remembering when I first met Shane, it was during my freshman year of High School and he was the nicest person I had known, his 6'2 frame with honey brown eyes and golden blonde hair with an athletic body made him the perfect eye candy to most whereas David stood at 6'3 and had chestnut brown hair and haze brown eyes with a semi-toned body, the perfect combination of the two as both would sit and talk with me, that was until the rumors. started all thanks to Diana, who enjoyed making my life hell at school. 3/4 15:53 Wed, Oct 30 Chapter 17

"Your spacing" growls Brian who frowned, not liking the way my behavior was going at the table, causing me to snap away from my thoughts.

"Is everything okay mu going to be when we get ahold of you" whispers Brian with a growl causing me to jump up from the seat finally, only to catch the attention of the Alpha.

asks the Alpha, who suddenly saw me jump as did the eyes of those who were probably my mate as they carefully watched for my reaction.

"Yes I'm okay, I just remembered that I need to check on something" I say, hoping he wouldn't ask anything more as I catch my uncle's displeased look.

"Can it wait? Where about to have desert" asks the Alpha unaware that I had missed 2 of the 3 meals already all thanks to Brian..

"No I'm sorry my Alpha but it's important, but I promise that you'll see me at the ball tomorrow" I say as I move to take my leave without making a scene, hoping that my mates wouldn't follow as I move to exit the dining hall, Brian, Shane and David moving to follow, all thanks to my uncle who was angry by my behavior.
