Chapter 33 Ares POV

The moment our mate had dozed off, I moved to lock eyes with my brother. "We did it" I whisper, so as not to wake her. "We finally found our mate.!

"Agreed" whispers Eros, a small smile gracing his lips as he holds our mate, her facial expression soft as she sleeps. "Now no one can take her from us, not even that pup, Alpha Jacob."

At the mention of Jacob, I can't help but feel Zeus growl. 'Easy buddy' I warn, not wanting him to wake our mate. 'He hurt mate, he should be punished' growls Zeus, angrily. And he shall, in due time, but let's not start a war if we can help it' I tell him, which earns me a snort. 'Besides, we should focus on replaceing other relatives for our mate as well as figure out why someone would attack a whole pack in cold blood'. "Maybe, Maybe the Lycan King would know' replies Zeus with a thought. "Maybe, but father would need to reach out to him' I say as a matter of fact, which earns me a sigh. 'Fine'

I suddenly feel eyes causing me to focus back on Eros who had been watching. "What's so funny?" asks Eros as he watches me. "Just something Zeus said to me" I tell him, before turning serious once more.

Chuck reminds t we need to see if our mate has any other relatives other than those who took her for granted. There's gotta be more to this than we know. We should also look into why someone would attack her pack in cold blood, determine if it was for power or something more." L say to him, suddenly serious. "I was just thinking the same thing... Maybe father could help us, maybe reach out to the King' remarks Eros, suddenly serious just as I was.

"My thought exactly, as I doubt the Council would help let alone be of any use to us" I mutter, a suspicious feeling about everything rising, as if they were a part of it. "The Council would never

help us, or anyone for that matter. All they care about is power and control" grunts Eros, knowing what we said to be true.

"Which makes me wonder if they're behind it as well" I rebuttal, earning me a surprised look from Eros. "Ares... careful, you can't go around accusing people, we have to have proof that they're behind it first. To accuse a high member of society is like asking for death" exclaims Eros in surprise. "I know, but I can't help but feel like they're the ones behind it" I whisper, once I had seen Athena move slightly from Eros's surprised voice. "And without proof we can't know for sure". "I know, those were my exact thoughts as well, but until then there's no point in bringing that up until we get more proof whether it be more information or unless our mate decides to share her past with us" murmurs Eros, the need for sleep reaching him. "Sleep, we can finish this discussion later" I tell him, my own body needing sleep as well and since dinner wouldn't be till later, a nap was a perfect way to pass the time. Nodding, Eros moves to follow our mate into dreamland as do I. Sleep easily takes over and allows us to sleep peacefully. Hours Later (Dinner Time)-

It's about 5:30 pm when I slowly begin to stir, my focus slowly turning to that of my mate as she continues to sleep peacefully between me and my brother. Perfect, I muse to myself, my fingers moving to caress her cheek, her face leaning gently towards my hand as I chuckle, my eyes glancing down towards her marks only to blink. For there sitting upon her neck was a trinity mark, woven together like a tribal mark with a crescent moon woven delicately between each knot, our names etched perfectly around each one. Whoa... that's new, I think never seeing a mark like that before. 'Hey Zeus' I called to my wolf, wondering if he would know more about the mark. "Do you know anything about this mark?" I ask, feeling Zeus stir from his slumber, his eyes shifting to that of our mate's neck. "The Moon Goddess has blessed us, it means eternal life' whispers Zeus. 'Eternal life?" I ask, puzzled. 'It means we're destined to replace one another no matter where we are in our rebirths. We'll always replace a way back to one another' purrs Zeus, causing me to smile knowing that even in death we would always be mated.

Just then there's a subtle knock on the door, alerting me that someone was there, frowning I move to answer it, grabbing a pair of shorts to slip on in the process. "Yes?" I call out softly, approaching the door as I did.

"My Alpha, your parents have requested me to let you know that dinner will be held at 7pm, a welcome celebration will be held in honor of the new Luna" replies a maid, once I had opened the door to see who it was.

"Okay thank you. I'll let my brother know as well as our mate" I say to her, just as she bows before turning to leave, returning to her duties as I move to close the door once more. "Who was that?" yawns Eros, as he moves to sit up on the bed.

"One of the maids, apparently mom and dad are holding a celebration dinner to welcome the new Luna" I tell him, making my way towards the closet. "Celebration dinner? Fun" chuckles Eros before moving to wake up our mate. "Love... time to wake up" whispers Eros, as he moves to caress her cheek causing her to moan as she stirs.

"Mmm, what time is it?" yawns Athena as she stirs. "Almost 6pm, come, we should shower before heading down for dinner. Our parents are hosting a welcome dinner to welcome the new Luna" 1 say to her, smiling as I exit the closet with clothes for me and our mate. "Eh?" blinks Athena spotting the dress I now held within my arm. "Where did that dress come from?" chuckling, I look at her in amusement. "Maya" is all I say to her, as Eros moves to carry her to our bathroom while I follow closely behind her once placing the clothes down on one of the chairs for now. Blushing, Athena cheeks flush as Eros continues to carry her, sitting her down on the sink before moving to turn on the shower. The shower being big enough to hold five or more people, "Cute" I say with a chuckle loving the way her face turned red with each compliment. "-1" stutters Athena just as I move to approach her, caging her with my body as I move to step between her legs, my hands resting against her hips as I stand before her. "Come let us shower" is all I tell her before picking her up the waist causing her to squeak as she moves to wrap her legs around I my waist, her arms moving to circle my neck as she clings to me. At the casual embrace, I can't mated it wouldn't be long until lp but smile as Zeus purrs. 'I can't wait till mate is pregnant with our pups' remarks Zeus happily which makes me smile wider at the thought of our mate's belly round with our pups making my heart sore for now that she was marked and I her heat arrived which meant Eros and I would be busy for only then would our mate become pregnant with our child. "Ares? Athena into my neck as I slowly approach Eros and the shower. Yes LoWhispers Athe

Thank you for loving us and not rejecting us" answers Athena as she leans back far enough to let me her face. Pausing, I gently cup her cheek with a hand, my other still holding her. gently. "But of course love, you are ours, just as we are yours and no one, I mean no one will take you away from us" I say, my voice firm yet gentle as I move to kiss her. "Exactly love, we will fight for you until the end of time" replies Eros, just as we move to enter the shower, Eros approaches from behind her as he moves to kiss her shoulder causing her to shiver.

"E-Eros" gasps Athena, her legs tightening around my waist. "Yes love" smirks Eros, kissing her shoulder once again. "W-We need to shower" mumbles Athena, her body trembling as she bites her lip. "We will love, we'll shower while pleasing our mate all at the same time" smirk as I move to nip at my mark, earning me a moan as she arches into us, Eros caressing her hips as my hands hold her a**

"Ares..." was all I heard as Eros and I moved to shift our focus onto our mate, the shower running
