Athena's POV

It was about an hour or so when I finally managed to get my tears under control, my mates still holding me as they did. During which no one else spoke, letting the silence fill the void.

'All is not lost my dear... While things have taken a turn for the worst with the Moon Walker Pack, we still have our mates. Our home is now with them and the Mystic Shadow Pack' whispers Artemis, hoping to ease my pain.

But... I thought they loved me... Could Jacob be right? Did they truly not love me like I had originally thought... Could he even be right about Diana being pregnant? I mean I knew they were sleeping together but he hadn't even claimed her as his chosen, could he have been lying just to get out of punishment?' I ask her, so many what if's now running through my head. 'Enough my child. You're overthinking things. Stop Jacob never cared about us and never will. He's a prick and completely self-centered. Everything about him just screams liar. Remember the ball? How he tried to be so possessive of us? It's his way of manipulating us to control us' replies Artemis, her words words slowly sinking in as they Mulling over everything that has happened leading up till now, I completely go unaware of what's happening with me until Alarick finally speaks up, pulling me from my thoughts and in the direction of him as he does.

"So.. Pregnant? When did this happen?" asks Alarick to to his sons.

"We just found out father. Right when her heat cycle broke" admits Eros, his eyes moving to that of his father, his body never leaving mine as he does.

Humming softly, he nods only to smile soon after. "That's wonderful news my sons. Your mother will be most happy to know of this. She's been wanting Grand Pups for as long as I can remember."

At hearing that I can't help but turn my focus over to him. "For a while?" I ask, now curious behind his words, causing him to look over in my direction.

"Yes, Ever since they turned 18 and were able to replace their mates. My mate has been waiting for the day she could have Grand Pups. Now both at 23 they finally have a mate and a child to boot" smiles Alarick happily warming my already broken heart. "I'm happy to be the one to help with that" I admit softly.

"Oh dear, it's not a matter of helping. The Moon Goddess paired you three together for a reason, a reason I'm sure will come into play when the time comes. For now let us enjoy this moment while we can. For who knows when the Rogue King will strike next❞ admits Alarick, making the mood in the room turn somber once again.

Then like so, everyone within the room slowly begins to trickle out of the room until it was only the three of us. "Come love, let us go and get ready for tonight shall we?" says Eros, love shining brightly within his gorgeous blue eyes. For there, in front of us, was a table made for three along with a beautiful sheer canopy before finishing it off with fairy lights. Shifting my gaze from the table to the side, I can't help but notice trolleys filled with all sorts of food imaginable. "You guys... you didn't have to go through all this trouble just for me" I say, now noticing that our special spot was located snuggly within the pack garden, flowers surrounding us at every corner as the setting sun set the perfect ambiance. know, but we wanted to. "Cute" chuckles Ares, waving a hand as two Omega's finally emerge, attending to our plates and cups until each were filled before bowing and leaving, Ares and Eros both saying their thanks as they did. noticed until now but the Mystic Shadow Pack really treats their Omega's well unlike the Moon Walker Pack who always gives them hell' I whisper to Artemis, lost by own thoughts.

Keeping my focus solely on them, does Ares move to continue. "Here's to us, and to our wonderful yet amazing Luna. Not a day goes by that Eros and I don't thank the Moon Goddess for blessing us with you. After years of waiting, we're finally complete" smiles Ates, my blush returning once

more.

"I'll drink to that, to our beautiful Luna. May the Moon Goddess forever protect us and watch over us" adds Eros, before moving to take a sip of his drink as does Ares and I.

With toasts out of the way, do we move onto our meals. Butterflies now dancing all along my stomach as we each move to enjoy each other's company. Unaware that my twins still had one more plan up their sleeves before the night was up 'Relax' whispers Artemis.

'I'm trying too,' I replied back to her, trying my hardest to calm down 'but I'm so nervous' is all I can muster as my butterflies continue to make themselves present. "Try harder' laughs Artemis, amused by

my actions.

'You know what, shut up!' I murmured, knowing she wasn't going to be any help to me now as she found humor in my turmoil, my eyes moving to that of my mates when Ares moved to speak up, drawing my attention as he did. Chapter Comments
