Our Luna, Our Mate Chapter Arés P POV

When seeing my mate faint like she did, Eros and I panicked. When I asked her to join us, I hadn't thought of what would happen once she arrived in the room because according to our mate she had no other relatives besides those living at the Moon Walker Pack. So much to our surprise we were in total shock when our father knew the person who had arrived at our pack not even hours Delore beforehand.

'Idiot' grumbles Zeus, annoyed with me currently.

Sorry, how was I supposed to know that the Lycan King was also her Uncle. It's not like we know much about her past.' I replied, hoping he would understand at least that much. Sighing in annoyance, Zeus doesn't move to speak knowing that what I said was true. Catching his silence I-take that as a win as Eros and I move to sit down next to our mate, each of us taking a seat on the floor until she stirred. The need to be close higher now that she was carrying our pup. 'Speaking of of pup... We never got the chance to ask her what the doctor had said to her' chimes Zeus, suddenly curious as to what the doctor had to say for Eros and I had secretly contacted the packs doctor without her knowing, hoping they could give her a quick checkup to make sure everything was developing like normal. Because normally a wolf can typically give birth to a pup within 5 to 6 months depending on rank or status. Which is also about half of what a human does as a human carries their child the full 9 months so knowing she was pregnant after her heat, Eros had suggested we have the doctor look at her just to make sure things were still good.

'Guess we'll have to wait now until she wakes up to ask her how the visit went' I tell him, knowing

3 Hours Later....

It's now about 3 hours into Athena fainting and Athena had yet to open her eyes. Concerned, I'm

about to call for the pack doctor and have them come check on her when eventually she begins to stir, catching our attention as we watch with bated breath.

'Mate' exclaims Zeus happily, once he started seeing her move her body from the spot on the couch.

'Thank the Goddess' I say, just as she moans, her eyes slowly beginning to flutter open as she lays

"Mmmm.." groans Athena, her eyes trying to focus. "W-What happened to me?"

fainted, that's what happened" whispers Alex Athena's Uncle and Lycan King as he catches her attention once again.

"Sorry, if I startled you. That wasn't my intention. I was just shocked, but surprised to finally see you again" adds Alex to his niece.

"It's okay" answers Athena as she moves to sit up slowly, her body trying to regain its composure

"Thank you" whispers Athena with a smile as she lets him help her up. My focus now solely on

the Lycan King himself.

"Your Majesty... Earlier you mentioned that the Moon Walker Pack had committed a crime. One that you fully intend to deal with. If I may, what did you mean by that?" I ask, a little bit curious as to what he meant by that. Shifting his focus over to me, he smiles before replying. "Under normal circumstances, a pack to allow such awful crimes to occur would typically result in a pack banishment. However, because they abused my niece, therefore a trial must be held for all those found at fault before judgment can b be passed." states Alex to me as he explains.

"Judgment? Trial? What do you mean by that?" asks Eros, confused on how the Lycan King had planned to rectify the damage done to Athena.

"What I mean is... they abused a Lycan Princess. Athena is heir to my entire pack should something happen to me, therefore, had something terrible happened to her the charges made against them could go as far as death to the one found guilty."

At the mention of Lycan Princess, everyone all but turns to Athena, her body in shock as she moves to look at her Uncle. "U-Uncle?" stammers Athena in shock.

Smiling, he moves to shift his focus over to Athena. "It's true, my child. You are heir to TWO kingdoms besides your own" begins Alex as if this was normal.

"H-Heir?" whispers Athena now in complete shock as the Lycan King just smiles at her.

"Yes... But maybe it would help if I explained a little more about our past. You see.. Before Athena was born, there was me, Ryder and Rick. Each of us was born as brothers as well as triplets. Thankfully not identical twins unlike Ares and Eros which meant we were able to replace separate

mates a lot easier instead of one mate to share among the three of us" explains Alex as he tries to distinguish between Identical Twins and Not Identical Twins.

I did you, your Majesty?" asks Lucas, curiously.

"Unfortunately no. Neither I nor Rick have ever been able to replace our fated mate. And that was fine with us as we believed that the Moon Goddess had other plans laid out for us" answers Alex, to show he wasn't upset by that little bit. "But a mate is supposed to be sacred. Half of a soul who is meant to be with the one who completes them" whispers Athena sadly.

"Athena....

It's okay sweetheart. Rick and I have come to understand the Moon Goddess's wish and for that we can only assume it's because of what she had in store for you my child" remarks Alex

with a smile.

"M-Me?" asks a baffled Athena, everyone watching the pair before them.

he moves to continue talking. "Yes.. You see, the Moon Goddess once visited us a long time ago and had told us that a child would be born to unite all the packs. That she would be the one to rule over all the wolves alongside her mates." "And you think that this child.. Is Athena?" asks Kai, now curious as well. Athena clearly shocked by this bit of information as the Moon Goddess had once said the exact same thing to her as did the Rogue King himself when he confronted her back in the forest. "Of course I do" snaps Alex as he looks to Kai before focusing back on Athena. "Athena was, no is the only child to be born of Moonblood. Heir to Moon Valley as it's rightful Alpha only for her world to be ripped away by Rogues. Thankfully, my brother's Beta managed to save her in time. As Athena was born to do great things. At Athena's 5th birthday party, Rick and I had come to speak with our brother, Ryder, about combining our packs into one. Blood Rose which is mine and Rick's Silver Moon Pack as neither of us had heirs to rule them and since Athena was the only other Alpha among the family that right became hers automatically. Ryder even agreed to it as apparently the Moon Goddess had wished for it" finishes Alex to those within the room.

"But how? I didn't think a King's Kingdom could just simply merge with two other packs" questions Seth as he tried to think of another pack who did that and was failing.

"Typically it can't.. But with me as the Lycan King, my pack is my own and it rightfully belongs to my niece. All she had to do was accept and the merge could have happened without error once she had become of age. But when the Rogue King attacked, he all but ruined it" growls Alex, Thorin now standing next to his King as he explains a little insight about their family history. 63

Chapter it was that simple, thinks Thorin who knew that once the Council had caught wind that Athena's pack had been destroyed along with her possibly perishing along with it as a child, all hopes in

in combing the packs were thrown out the window until now.

And now, with Athena back in the picture, the hope of passing on the Kingdom to her looks promising, is all Thorin thinks as the King continues to explain other various things about the Moonblood Family history and its lineage to Athena.
