Chapter Twenty-Six: Spent

IT HAS been a month since Max left for the country of Western Isles.

And Hyacinth spent her weeks with Erin and Maine. They shopped, yes, but that’s the only thing they’ve been doing these past few weeks. She urged her daughter to convince Maine to go to the amusement park but Erin said that her aunt has a fear of heights. To add salt to the wound, Max also prohibited her to go to any amusement parks because she was pregnant.

So, today, Hyacinth searched for interesting places where she could bring her sister-in-law and her daughter. The internet suggested going to a museum but that seems like a hard task for the young ladies.

“Where should we go?” Hyacinth pondered out loud while looking at the list on the internet.

They can always go to the zoo. It’s completely harmless for a pregnant woman like her. For sure, Maximillian will not oppose the idea.

She heaved a sigh and exited the internet browser just to tap the gallery and scroll through the photos there. A reluctant smile crept on her lips when she saw their wedding photos.

It has been more than a month since she married Max yet it all felt odd to her. Maybe because he married her all of a sudden without going through the dating stage. They skipped that part of a couple’s life. Their intimacies, on the other hand, are quite spectacular. It is as if they have this extreme chemistry between them that they seemed to burst into flames at each other’s touch and kisses. An unworldly woman like her couldn’t ignore that magnet pull between them every time they were a few inches apart.

Those things were all new to Hyacinth. The only thing she regretted is that she didn’t live boldly to explore her sensualities. Maybe, if she allowed herself to date, she wouldn’t be so clueless every time Max touches her. Maybe she wouldn’t be so...hungry—for his kisses, for his touch. If only she read more books or watched more romance shows, she would have a basis for comparison. At this point, it is her body who knew where to seek its pleasure without asking for her mind’s approval...or maybe her mind and body are working together to confuse her.

She shook her head, removing the ridiculous thoughts in her head, and proceeded to close the photo gallery app. Maybe she should call Jean for tips regarding her plans on bonding with Maine and Erin—especially Erin.

“Why are you shaking your head?”

The familiar baritone voice of Maximillian filled the room so Hyacinth lifted her head from her phone to look at the doorway but there was no one there.

But she could smell him. She could sense him. He’s here.

Hyacinth threw the blanket to the floor and bounced her bottom from the mattress so that she could land her feet on the floor. As if on cue, Max entered the room and intently followed her every move with his eyes that matched the blue of the skies outside.

“Careful, Haya. I’m not going anywhere—”

She scrambled on the floor to look for her slippers but she gave up on the idea a few seconds later because of impatience and excitement. Hyacinth ran to Max’s open arms and welcomed her warmth in his embrace.

“You were so close to replaceing your slippers.” He chuckled when Hyacinth groaned at his notion.

She had missed him...terribly. Oh, she had been so ignorant of her feelings that she didn’t have control of it anymore and they just exploded out in the open.

“I thought you’ll have to stay in the Western Isles for another month. How come—”

“I had to go back tomorrow. My business isn’t done yet.”

She lifted her head to look at her with a questioning gaze. “Why are you here, then?”

Her hand slowly reached for his jaw and touched its smoothness. Hyacinth frowned at the sudden change he made in his appearance.

“You like it spikey, hmm?” His vivid blue eyes shone his astonishment at that observation.

She gasped inaudibly before nodding. Her clashed brows slowly returned back to their natural state. The smell of him—sandalwood and mint—abraided her nose and she swallowed...hard.

She didn’t realize that she was comfortable being this close to her husband. It is as if an instinct to just embrace him without inhibitions. Hyacinth was quite amazed by how fast they got used to each other’s touch. Her body slightly relaxed against his hard, chiseled chest and Max savored the feel of her against him by pressing his nose on her forehead.

“You didn’t answer my question, Max. You have a week-long conference this week, right? Why did you suddenly go home?”

“Yes, there’s a conference but I can’t help myself.”

His lips touched her forehead as his arms enveloped her body. He sighed and whispered, “Hyacinth, I don’t—” he cursed under his breath. “God, I don’t know why but I always feel exhausted even if I got enough sleep. Somewhat, the suite in the Western Isles doesn’t feel right.”

Hyacinth knew that Max was staying in one of the luxury hotels in the western country for his two-month-long business venture. If the luxury place is uncomfortable, then it’s only proper to book another suite.

“Do you want to call Jean and change your hotel?”

He pulled away from her and shook his head to answer Hyacinth’s question. Her creamy skin glowed with the lightest hue of pink. It must be because of her pregnancy. Her curly light brown hair tumbled like waves on her shoulder and collarbone. Because of her stress-free environment and nutritional meals from a professional nutritionist, his wife’s facade had improved drastically.

She gained a few pounds and that filled some hollows on her cheek and legs. He also noticed that her chest filled the cup of her brassiere differently than before. Max could see every change that has occurred on her body, thanks to her ridiculously-thin nightdress.

Good god, she’s beautiful.

“Lock the door.”

Her warm smile suddenly vanished. “W-What?”

“You do realize you’re practically naked?” The bulge in his pants can attest to that statement.

Before she could cover her body with her hands, he immediately grabbed her arm and lifted her in his arms just like how he carried her on their wedding night.

Hyacinth’s laughter filled the room when Max kicked the door close and gently placed her on the bed. “Max, it’s two o’clock in the afternoon!”

“Don’t care,” he said playfully. Hyacinth sighed when he reached for the hem of her dress and lifted it to her arms. Hyacinth gladly removed the clothing, giggling in delight when Max removed everything on her body like a man possessed.

“Max!” Hyacinth giggled when he attempted to rip her panty off again. “Stop ripping my underwear!”

He growled and obliged, much to her delight. “Have you been good without me?”

She nodded at his question, wiggling slightly to help her husband remove her lacy underwear.

His large hands then reached for her plump breasts and his fingers toyed with her sensitive nipples. Hyacinth’s giggles were replaced with breathy moans and cries, urging her husband to touch more of her...feel every part of her.

Her flesh throbbed in anticipation when Max lowered his head and kissed the side of her neck first. He inhaled sharply, savoring the smell of jasmine on her skin.

“Remind me to buy you jasmine-scented bath oils.”

Hyacinth cried his name in response, her legs wrapping around his hips. “Please...”

“Please what, lovely lily?”

Her body was immediately engulfed in flames at that familiar endearment. He had been calling her that in the privacy of their bedroom. He knew how she loved the nickname, for her body arched towards his clothed length, greedy and aching for the feel of him against her skin.

He unzipped his pants and freed his rigid arousal. Hyacinth slid her hand between them and reached for his throbbing length, guiding its blunt tip to the wetness of her entrance.

“My greedy Lily. Did you miss me too, love?”

She nodded in delirium. “I’ve missed you, Max. I-I need you—oh!”

He slammed himself deep inside her to the root and her arms clung around his nape. “Better?”

“Yes, oh yes...” Hyacinth bit her lower lip as she tried to move her hips greedily, relishing his warmth in her core, squeezing his aching manhood by clenching her walls around him.

“I’m gonna fuck you hard until I’m spent. Do you want to continue?” He asked in between his savage attacks on her breasts. Hyacinth’s only response was a desperate nod, her legs shaking at the palpable desire overflowing from her body.

She felt like dying as seconds turned into a full minute. His lips had been wandering from her kiss-swollen lips, to her neck, and to her breasts. She had been begging and begging but Max tortured her senses, urging pleasure out of her body with his mouth and tongue yet stopping when her entirety was overheated with a desire so intense that Hyacinth felt she was gonna faint.

She thought she have reached the maximum intensity of desire, of lust. That was until Max began to move in and out of her tight sheath. Hyacinth spread her thighs wide to welcome his thrusts, moaning loudly from her throat. He nipped and sucked and licked her neck and collarbone as he drilled her pulsating cunt to orgasm.

Her core clenched. Every part of her body clenched as she reached the summit, crying his name oh-so-loud that she immediately covered her mouth. Her orgasm drove her to the hilt of satisfaction that she began to relax.

Yet Max still continued, forcing another orgasm from her overspent nerves. Minutes have passed and her pussy is drenched with her release yet he seemed to stop his pleasure just to extend hers, for his movement became ferocious and savage, whispering how good she felt around his cock...complimenting how beautiful the lewd noises of their sex sounded on his ears.

“You can have one more,” he encouraged her while kissing and nibbling her ear. He grunted as his movement went incredibly fast that it felt like his cock is now vibrating in her channel.

“I-I’m tired...” Hyacinth has managed to respond weakly. She’s afraid she might faint for real if she let him ride her to orgasm again. Her body was tired, yes, but she wanted to feel his own pleasure. Hyacinth begged for his release, meeting his thrusts with the seductive movement of her hips. He groaned and muttered her name but she kissed his lips to stifle his moans.

His cock throbbed in her core. That somewhat triggered another orgasm from Hyacinth; Her body went rigid, her walls sucking her husband’s white-hot release. Her whole body quivered with his.

Hyacinth didn’t let go of her husband’s lips. They both savored the aftermath of their orgasm in a passionate, sensual kiss. She can feel him quiver in satisfaction and weariness so she pulled him closer to her body.

The intimate feel of his hot, sweaty skin against hers is shockingly relaxing and satisfying, just like hearing white noise while a body is worn-out and craving a lengthy sleep at the end of a tiring, stressful day.

“I might hurt our baby,” he complained when she suggested that he should rest on top of her.

Max pulled his manhood out of her sex and she dreaded the emptiness and the cold she felt from his absence. Her husband reached for a tissue on the bedside table and wiped the excess semen dripping from the entrance of her femininity.

That was all she remembered before exhaustion consumed her. She curled on her side in a fetal position and closed her eyes, drowning herself in satisfactory bliss.
