Owned By Her Triplet Bullies -
Epilogue
Emma's POV
One year later.
"We have arrived at our destination. Have a safe trip, everyone," the pilot said through his headgear. I yawned and slowly opened my eyes only to be met with the smiling gazes of the boys.
"Have you been watching me sleep?" I asked with a smile. I couldn't help but smile back. Their smiles were addictive. They were still so good-looking that they took my breath away.
"Yes mummy, they've been watching you sleep all day," Madison responded quickly. I chuckled.
"Okay lovebirds, you heard the pilot, let's get off," Ria said excitedly. I stood up and we all started to head out of the airplane.
"Where's Mason and Sean?" I asked curiously. As soon as I asked, I heard Sean's wails coming towards us. He appeared with tear-stricken cheeks and puffy eyes. He looked just like John, with gray eyes and dark brown hair. He was barely a year old so he couldn't walk properly, he wobbled towards me.
"Aunty Emma? Is it true that when I grow up there's going to be another person inside of me? I don't want that. Mason said it's going to be really painful," he said in his cute baby voice, crying loudly. We all sighed, I knew it had something to do with Mason immediately after he arrived.
"Don't listen to him. Nothing of that sort will happen," I assured him. Mason was fond of telling Sean things that would make him cry. I knew he didn't do it on purpose but he took after his father and was just too blunt.
"It's true though," Mason said walking towards us. We all stared at him in disbelief.
"Come here Sean, don't cry. I will deal with Mason for lying to you later," Madison consoled Sean as she glared at Mason. He shrugged indifferently.
"Welcome everyone," Xander chirped loudly standing right outside the airport with Judith. Judith had quit her job to move into Xander's pack as his Luna after their mating ceremony. They looked happy together and I couldn't be happier for them. Judith waved at us with a smile and we waved back. They both invited us over to their pack to spend the weekend.
"Boys, Luna Emma, lovely in-law John, troubled cousin Ria, little Sean, and adorable twins. Thank you for gracing us with your presence," he said dramatically with a mock bow.
"It's good to see you are here," Alex said as he walked towards him.
"Why? Did you miss me? I missed..." Alex passed his suitcase to Xander, cutting him off abruptly. Julian and Philip did the same. Xander scoffed in disbelief.
"You can't keep doing this to me. I'm the Alpha of this pack. Show some respect," he ordered. Ria walked towards him and smacked his head.
"Who are you calling trouble? Want me to deal with your a*s?" she threatened. Xander quickly went behind Judith.
"Baby, look how they are all bullying me," he complained. Ria walked behind him and they chased each other around. We all chuckled at their childish antics.
"You can't keep standing. Let's get into the car," Philip said to me. I nodded. I was pregnant and my baby bump was very visible. Since I found out I was pregnant, the boys didn't allow me to do anything. They literally carried me around and agreed to my every whims and demands. I had also quitted my job and moved into the pack house with the twins. I now own my own hospital at New Dawn pack. We all got into the car that they had provided and drove over to his pack house. The twins were speaking with Cole over the phone. It had been a very long time since I last saw him although we spoke at times whenever he called the twins.
I understood he needed space to sort his feelings out and I totally agreed with that. It would be awkward to be with the boys and still be friends with him despite his feelings for me. The boys understood that the twins were attached to Cole, so they didn't stop them from speaking with each other. Although Cole and the boys never had a serious conversation, they all respected each other without any words being said.
We arrived at the pack house and it was as beautiful as I had remembered it to be. I gazed at the green scenery. I smiled when I remembered what had happened right where I was standing at Xander's father's birthday party. I glanced around and my gaze met with the triplets, they gave me a small smile, telling me that they had also remembered that memory. Posted by Narugi.com; visit us for more free novels.
"Uncle, where is the bathroom?" Mason asked Xander.
"Come with me, I will show you," Alex offered.
"No, stay with mummy. I can go on my own," he insisted firmly. He left with Sean and Madison after Xander showed him the way.
"Why do I feel like he hates my guts?" Alex mumbled but we heard him.
"You finally realize what people feel whenever you speak with them," John retorted and walked away. We snickered. Their relationship was still a bit sour but they were slowly starting to get along. We all headed to the garden where Xander had made special preparations for breakfast. We all had an early flight.
"Mother packed this for you. She said we had to make sure you have this daily," Julian instructed, handing me a box of traditional medicine.
"She ordered me to make a video of you having it," Philip added, bringing out his phone. I scrunched up my nose in disgust.
"Drink every last drop, Emma. You can't leave anything out else I will tell," Ria threatened with a smug smile. I glared playfully at her. Mother, father, and the boys have been extremely considerate since they found out about my pregnancy. I believe it was because deep down, they were still guilty about not knowing about the twins earlier. They treated me with utmost love and care. I felt so lucky and happy. Even though the medicine was bitter, I drank every single drop without complaining. I looked at the table but I couldn't see any water. It was filled with alcohol.
"I'm going to drink like a fish. I've been deprived of the heavenly taste of wine for a very long time," Ria squealed excitedly.
"I need to get some water from the kitchen," I said before standing up.
"I will get it for you," the boys chimed simultaneously.
"No, I will get it myself. The exercise is good for me. Remember I'm a doctor," I hurriedly replied before walking away.
"Careful," they called out after me. I could hear Xander teasing them about their behavior. After getting the water, I started to walk towards the garden but I stopped staring at the laugh-filled and joyful table. I gasped when I felt something kick me hard. I suddenly saw the boys in front of me.
"Are you okay?" they asked worriedly. I grabbed their hands and placed them on my baby bump.
"Whoa! What was that?" Philip exclaimed.
"The baby kicked you, dummy," Alex retorted.
"I knew that. It was just a reflex action," he responded. We all smiled.
"Thank you Emma for staying with us and giving us everything. Love, trust, and a family," Julian muttered. This past year, not a day has gone by without them expressing their love for me in words and in their actions.
"Have you ever thought about how it would be if I never forgave or came back to you?" I asked, staring at them curiously.
"We would have been the same living corpses that we were. Living in bondage," Alex responded.
"And I probably would still be a workaholic single mother," I replied.
"But, that wasn't our fate," Julian said.
"You are right. We were fated to be," I said. "Together," we all held hands with a smile.
"Always and forever," Philip muttered.
"We will never let you go. You are our everything. We love you, Emma Martinez," they said. My eyes glistened brightly.
"I love you too. Martinez triplets," I responded as I leaned into them. Our bond started with a misunderstanding, anger, hatred, l**t, guilt, regret, and finally love. And this love that grew between us was more than something that bound us together. This love was a deep desire that none of us could fight against despite the many obstacles we faced and we eventually succumbed to it. And now, as a result of this love, we had grown, matured, and were now complete. We had found our peace and learned to deal with our demons.
Life might have been cruel to us but we had made our place in it and overcame everything. I was glad that I could finally have a family of my own. As long as we loved and trusted each other, it was more than enough for us. As I stared into their eyes, I knew that I could trust them with my heart and it would never be broken. They were my tormentors, my bullies but together we grew and nurtured something so unique and precious that could never break so easily. We knew that our love was going to keep getting tested by the world but together, nothing was impossible.
