Lexi's

POV

"I want you to kiss me," I said with a firm resolution. He paused, obviously surprised. I saw him gulp before he proceeded to do as I had asked. His kiss was careful and shallow. I could tell it was filled with restraint. This had happened multiple times before. He would pull away because he thought I wasn't ready, even when it made him uncomfortable which was very unfair to him. My heart warmed with how considerate he was of my feelings. If I was nervous of how this night was going to turn out before, after hearing his words I was completely sure of giving myself to him. I've never felt so sure of something before. I boldly wrapped my arms around his neck, leaning closer to his ear.

"You been here is all I need. I want to do this here, with you. I've never felt so sure of something before," I whispered.
