Paramythi I: City of Glass -
Prologue
Galaxis had once stood as an entity for hope. Its lands had flourished with the beauty of different races and species which had emerged from the twelve kingdoms residing within its grounds; Emvolo, Minoas, Dioscuri, Hera, Nemea, Astrea, Dike, Tipota, Cheiron, Amaltheia, Ganymede and Typhon. Such grand kingdoms were thought to be admirable and promoted ambitions between nations around the world, setting an example of divine union between kingdoms.
Sadly, the alliance upon Galaxis’ soil was short lived when each kingdom’s greed became far too strong for their neighbours. Trades were the first to fall, along with the general imports and protection from the brawnier type of kingdoms, such as Typhon and Ganymede. The refined kingdoms of Hera and Tipota soon shut up their borders and kept their locals within the safety of their walls.
The remaining kingdoms would soon follow such examples.
Emvolo remained as the wealthiest of all twelve kingdoms and had managed to keep a routine production of food and stock through the use of importing at their general docks through the process of small dealings with minor islands and villages between the borders of Minoas and across the sea. Their notable adaptation throughout the years of Galaxis’ downfall had not gone unnoticed by the other kingdoms and thus caused a stir between city capitals and encouraged rumours which whispered ’Emvolo had been the first kingdom to cut off their ties and encouraged the rest to do so.’
Looking at it from a profiting perspective, there was no-one to say Emvolo had not distributed their disconnection from Galaxis in order to gain a hefty amount of welfare from those in need of produce when the time came. Alas, the neighbouring kingdoms were proved wrong when Emvolo finally announced their rules for keeping out other races asides their own –humans—and Faeman; creatures which had adapted from evolved human bodies with features of abnormality, such as their interesting eyes. A Faeman would always have bright green irises and yellow scleras; emanating a rather intriguing radiance about their visage. They had been created for a war which never occurred, thus left them as regular civilians of Galaxis as the years went by.
Due to such circumstances, other races became quick enemies to Emvolo and were cast out gradually from other villages and cities that held no relations to their hometowns or origins. The process of retreating families and outcasts grew in numbers by the day until it was law for all kingdoms to be unconnected and unaligned. Instead of advancing towards a futuristic ideal, Galaxis had fallen into chaos and organised injustice. It was indeed a poor excuse of progression for humans, Faeman and just about every other race in the world to abide by.
Hope was no longer apparent in Galaxis. That is, until a young boy named Kane Ruskin took charge of a small band of thugs and began riots directed to Emvolo’s grand capitol - which was named Capitol; the main part of Emvolo’s city which surrounded the grounds of Tentrail, the city’s lower-classed areas - to reclaim the alliances they had lost so many years ago.
The fight was an exaggerating one until Kane was officially appointed the Captain of the infamous Rebellion and his collected petition to allow a certain race known as the Sylvannix —a humanoid clan with antlers and ram horns growing forth from the tops of their head. Their origin is associated with the Ram in the constellation of stars above, and their race had ironically originated from Emvolo many years ago—to come back into Emvolo’s city, without breaking any further law, had been the first thing Kane had succeeded in doing which promoted his actual devotion to reclaiming Galaxis’ lost unity.
In the present years of our story, we tell the tale of how the grand capitols of Galaxis’ kingdoms stand between Kane, the Rebellion’s Captain, and the alliance they had all shared once upon a time…
