Chapter 482: Gifted And Talented

Chapter 482: Gifted and Talented

Leopold was sitting in his office, looking at the woman peering at the computer screen, and his heart clenched.

-Children, line up and walk slowly, one at a time.

The kindergarten teacher came to the door and handed the children to their parents.

Mariana stood at the door, crossing her fingers as she waited for her son.

-Mom! -little Daniel called excitedly after seeing Mariana.

Hearing her son's voice, Mariana did not forget to greet him. She waved to her son, her eyes on him.

Daniel stood at the end of the line and was undoubtedly one of the most dazzling.

-Daniel, your mother is very pretty!

The girl next to him said to Daniel very jealous after seeing Mariana. She thought his mother was very pretty, so it seemed that the son inherited his beauty from his mother. Daniel was one of the best looking boys in his class.

-I have also seen Daniel's father, and he is super handsome.

The boy in front of Daniel saw Mariana and didn't forget to add a sentence. This family was beautiful and that would definitely be passed down to their future generations.

Mariana didn't flinch at these words and calmly watched as her son slowly walked towards her.

-Mom, I thought you weren't coming.

As soon as little Daniel walked out the school door, he ran straight to his mother. He was overjoyed to see Mariana coming to pick him up. After all, there was no little boy who didn't want his parents to come and pick him up.

Daniel was a good example of that.

-The babysitter hasn't been hired yet, how come mommy isn't coming? -Mariana looked at her son and thought.

As soon as she saw Daniel, all her bad mood seemed to disappear. As before, no matter how frustrating it was to start a business, her son was always her source of motivation.

So for Mariana, her son is really important.

-So you won't come back to pick me up when there's a babysitter? -Daniel looked at Mariana and said thoughtfully. He could also over-interpret Mariana's words.

Mariana was amused by her son and immediately replied:

-It's not like that.

-Daniel's mother.

Just as the mother and son finish their conversation, the teacher walked towards them. Mariana looked at him and smiled politely.

-Hello, teacher.

-Hello.

The teacher's eyes fell on Mariana, and she seemed to be inspecting her.

The teacher then went to Daniel's side and then said:

-Daniel's mother, I have something to tell you.

-Huh?

Mariana looked at her and had the feeling that something was wrong. Doing the math this was Daniel's first day at this school, how could something go wrong so fast? It seemed like something wasn't right. Mariana looked at her son and turned her eyes back to the teacher.

-Tell me.

The teacher stroked little Daniel's head and then said:

-Daniel is too smart.

"My son is too smart?"

This was a question Mariana didn't really think about.

"What do you mean?"

-Teacher, what do you mean?

Mariana felt puzzled. If the students are smart, shouldn't the teacher be happy? Could it be that being smart would affect other students when it came to learning?

The teacher smiled and said:

-Daniel's mother, don't be nervous. We also think from the child's point of view. With Daniel's talent, parents may choose to skip him a grade. "Skip the grade?"

A hundred thousand question marks popped into Mariana's head.

-So, can I ask the teacher what level she thinks would be most appropriate for my son to skip?

Mariana's gaze fell on the teacher, and suddenly she, too, was intrigued. She knew her son was smart, but she hadn't expected him to be so smart.

He was so smart that his teacher had recommended skipping a grade, so it seemed her son was really good.

Skipping a grade didn't have to be a bad thing, he could get ahead of other kids academically and in the future, he could also use his potential elsewhere.

-It matters to us that Daniel could be inserted directly into the big class at our school, but in our prediction, Daniel would be the valedictorian of that one too," the teacher looked at Mariana and said seriously. All the teachers in the school knew who Daniel's father was, so they didn't dare to be lazy.

The first day Daniel took a test in kindergarten, he got the highest grade and was the first to turn it in. Although the questions in the preschool class were simple, they were still difficult for children in the early childhood stage.

Since the school opened, the highest score they had found was only in the 80s, but Daniel got a perfect score right away.

-In the afternoon we tested Daniel individually in a large class and he also got a perfect score. Here, look.

The teacher even took out the little boy's test sheet and handed it to Mariana.

The teacher will not talk nonsense, but will simply reflect the real situation to Mariana.

After receiving the sheet, Mariana looked at the marks and types of questions on it and felt dizzy for a while. Since she was a child, Mariana's studies were not good, so how could she have given birth to such an intelligent child?

-We suggest that tomorrow morning you have the grade skipping procedure," the teacher looked at Mariana and added.

For Daniel, going to the older class was just a transition to kindergarten. This little boy had a bright future ahead of him.

-Okay, thank you, teacher.

Mariana was obviously surprised by the outcome, but it was a good thing. Getting ahead of the other children in the infant stage was certainly a good thing.

The teacher looked at Mariana, wanting to say something, but stopped herself.

-Teacher, do you still have something to add? -Mariana looked away and asked.

The teacher nodded and continued:

-Tomorrow morning, I also need Daniel's father to come. Because he was the one who did all the paperwork for the boy yesterday. If you don't have time tomorrow, it's okay to come another day. Fearing that Leopoldo was too busy, the teacher didn't forget to add the latter.

Such a school was insignificant compared to the properties in Leopoldo's name.

When Mariana heard it, although she felt a little ashamed in her heart of hearts, she still agreed. It was just a formality, how long could Leopoldo take?

However, Mariana was worried.

-I understand," Mariana promised the teacher and prepared to leave with her son.

The teacher breathed a soft sigh of relief that the matter had been explained.

-Daniel, say goodbye to the teacher," Mariana looked at her son and gave him instructions.

Little Daniel looked at his teacher and said softly:

-Teacher, goodbye -he raised his hand and circled Mariana before following her and preparing to go home.
