He was one step lower than her. His eyes reflected dim light, which was smouldering.

“If the owner of the pet shop doesn’t admit that Lin Man instructed him to harm Cindy, will Director White and Mr. White question Lin Man?”

“Or, will you force her to admit it?”

Marcus was speechless.

Amber whispered, “You’ve heard it all?”

Sean sneered.

Yes, he had heard it all.

Fortunately, he was here, otherwise, he wouldn’t know that Amber was going to blame Lin Man for Cindy’s illness!

She would never make things easy for Lin Man, would she? She took him away from Lin Man, and tried to absolve her brother by putting the blame on Lin Man!

Sean’s eyes were cold. He stared at Amber firmly, and his deep eyes were full of coldness.

“Is Cindy’s infection a trick of you?”

“Amber, I am already your husband. Why did you do that!”

“Do you hate Lin Man to this extent?”

Amber’s pupils contracted slightly. She looked at Sean fixedly and asked, “You think I’m such a person?”

“You’re not?”

“Toxoplasma infection is a process! Toxoplasma has spread to Cindy’s eyes, which meant it has been dormant in Cindy for a while!”

“But how long has it been since Mr. White gave the dog to Cindy?”

Amber took a deep breath, took out the Pomeranian examination report, and stuffed it to Sean.

“There are also mites on the Pomeranian! If Cindy is really infected with parasites on this dog, she would be infected with mites first!”

“Sean, are you a fool?”

Sean was speechless.

He read the report, and what threats the dog would pose to human health was listed clearly.

Amber was not telling lies.

She suspected Lin Man?

Sean tore the report to pieces and threw it in the trash can.

He believed that Lin Man was not the kind of person Amber said.

“A pet examination report can’t be used as evidence to convict Lin Man. Instead, Mr. White is the major suspect.”

“Amber has married into our Smith family, so Cindy is the young lady of our Smith family. Mr. White, how dare you harm her?”

Amber was silent.

In this world, no one knew Lin Man better than Amber.

The dog Marcus sent to Cindy must have been another plan of Lin Man.

On the one hand, she could frame Marcus. On the other, if the Toxoplasma thing was a failure, she could absolve her from guilt through it.

Only Sean believed in Lin Man so desperately!

But Amber didn’t let the matter go at that. It was the first time that she had such a strong desire to expose Lin Man’s true face in front of Sean.

Amber pushed Sean away and strode down the steps.

She walked quickly in high heels.

Amber slammed her head on Sean’s hard chest, and her nose hurt. The grievance and anger in the three years spurted out, Amber slammed Sean’s hand away and said with hatred, “What are you doing?”

“Mr. Smith, I still have something to do. If there is nothing else, I’ll take my leave!”

Amber gasped, with anger in her eyes, “I hate Lin Man. Mr. Smith, please figure out whether your Lin Man is guilty or not. If I get something on her, I will send her to jail!”

“I won’t mind forcing her to go abroad again. Mr. Smith, you should be clear about my temper! I don’t think you have forgotten the first lesson that I taught you and Lin Man three years ago, have you?”

Amber spoke very fast, but she made her point clearly. Even the punctuation marks hit Sean’s chest fiercely.

Sean clenched his fists tightly, and his sanity was swallowed by Amber’s words. He suddenly seized Amber by the neck, and his eyes were scarlet.

“Amber, say it again!”

Amber’s face was red, and she squatted on the ground, gasping violently.

Marcus helped Amber up and supported her with one hand. The worries in his eyes were real, “Sister, are you okay?”

Amber felt pain in her throat. Sean didn’t seize her for too long, so her discomfort disappeared soon.
