Lin Man sighed and said, “Amber, Sean doesn’t want to see you.”

Later, Lin Man left. She stood on the embankment alone for a long time, wishing to jump in and leave the world.

Amber closed her eyes. She didn’t want to stay here and remember the past. Sean suddenly came up, embracing her in his arms.

Amber sat on the bench, and whispered, “Mr. Gu, do you have Doctor Jin’s phone number?”

“Yes.”

“Please call Dr. Jin and tell him I’ll donate bone marrow to Sean.”

Gu Jinyan was shocked. He shook his head and said in a low voice, “Sean doesn’t want your bone marrow.”

“He’s in danger! Does his idea matter now?”

Gu Jinyan whispered, “Sean signed the contract. As long as he doesn’t agree, no doctor in Tong City will dare to use your bone marrow on him!”

“Amber, you can’t force the doctors. Many of them would rather die than offend Sean.”

Amber licked the corner of her lips and asked, “Is Sean crazy? He has been searching for the right bone marrow for so many years. Mine is the right one, but he doesn’t want it? What’s wrong with him?”

Amber stepped forward. The doctor didn’t recognize Amber, and asked, “How are you related to the patient?”

“We’re a couple.”

Amber asked in a low voice, “Doctor, how is he?”

“Not very good. He’d better have the operation as soon as possible. His situation will get worse and he will be trapped in the bed.”

“By the way, have you found the right bone marrow?”

Amber nodded in shock.

When Sean passed by Amber, he was lying on the bed. His hair that was always meticulous was messy.

He looked extremely pale. Amber was flustered.

Amber’s cold body didn’t warm up until the nurse took Sean away.

Gu Jinyan and Amber went to the ward. Sean was having a drip and a few tubes in his arm.

Before the nurse left, Gu Jinyan asked in a low voice, “When will he wake up?”

“We don’t know.” The nurse said, “But the patient will not be life-threatening for the time being. You guys don’t need to stay here to take care of him. One person is enough.”

“If neither of you plans to stay, you can get the patient a caregiver.”
