Please Let Me Go
Chapter 52 Who Sent You

Each petal seemed to fall with the wind when the wind blew.

"Antonio, do I look pretty?" Adelaide shouted his name and the sound came back slowly, she was so happy.

Antonio had no interest on flowers. He turned back and saw the woman half squatting next to the flowers, with white petals on her face, raising a satisfied smile. He was obsessive with that. "Antonio, Antonio!" She shouted, with her voice echoing in his ears. He snapped back to his senses, pretending to admire the flowers.

"Ah! I got it!"

Adelaide was like a happy little elf, she stood up. Antonio asked, "What do you know?"

"Are you afraid that someone will hit me again so you booked the whole place?"

The corners of his mouth twitched and he put on a disgusted look, "It was just too noisy!"

And she suddenly became gloomy. Antonio was afraid that his words had hurt her. When he was ready to explain and casually compliment her, she said, "I just heard the notice that it will refund the ticket! It costs a lot of money, right!"

Money?

Was she upset because of money? Antonio was even more surprised than just now, asked, "You're just upset about the money?"

Adelaide nodded, "Yes."

Antonio shook his head. He said, "Never mind, I have money!"

"Oh!" A single sentence made Adelaide unable to answer, and she replied sullenly.

In the meantime, Adelaide had run inside. She exclaimed the real flower was so good-looking. She was happy to touch it!

Antonio had to wonder if her brain was out of order?

Just now she was not upset about their money? Why all of a sudden she was happy about flowers?

Antonio quickened his pace to her side, holding her arm to pull her up, staring at her with a grave look.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Adelaide uneasily asked.

Antonio asked hesitantly in return, "You were sad and now you are happy, is there a problem with you brain?" Adelaide looked at him in confusion, not understanding what he meant by that.

"Tell me, what's wrong?"

She thought seriously and finally found that word in her mind, "No, I have pregnancy syndrome!"

He hadn't ever heard of it, but probably knew it had something to do with pregnancy, so he was relieved.

Jerry said on the phone that a woman ended up losing her mind because her husband didn't care about her. He thought Adelaide had lost her mind as well. "Then you keep looking!"

Antonio did not care to enjoy the flowers. He always felt a little unusual here, it was too quiet!

Looking back, the gate had been closed. The end could not be seen, he suddenly felt panicky, which was a feel happened when his brother died.

Adelaide picked up the flowers on the floor. She happily stood up and handed them to Antonio, "Antonio, why don't we pick some flowers up and make incense?" Antonio frowned warily as he nodded, "Okay, let's go back after picking up."

"But we had not finished watching the flowers in the back!" Adelaide looked regretfully at the phalaenopsis orchids not far away.

The feeling of uneasiness inside Antonio was getting heavier and heavier. He protected Adelaide behind him and looked around warily, "Do you feel it's quiet here?" Adelaide looked up at the sky and down at the ground, turned around and nodded in agreement with Antonio's words, "Yes, because there are only two of us!"

He glared at Adelaide in disgust. It seemed she hasn't found out yet!

It was too quiet. The staff had closed the door, but the sound outside should be heard.

Besides, it was a village. The outside was residence. It should have some noise. When he noticed that something was wrong, he tried to hold his breath and hear the subtle sound of movement. He was sure that the footsteps were coming from those brightly colored flowers.

The four sides were high walls, so the children could not climb over it.

The more he thought about it, the more he felt something was wrong. He pulled up Adelaide and gave a serious warning, "Let's go!"

Adelaide showed her reluctance. Seeing that Antonio did not look like he was joking, she stepped on small steps to follow the man.

At that moment, a male voice came from behind, "Mr. Antonio, why are you leaving in such a hurry?" Seeing that the two were leaving, they had to get out of the flowers.

Hearing this, Adelaide's delicate body shook and her brain went blank.

Antonio turned around and shielded Adelaide behind him. He narrowed his eyes and found ten or so people walking towards them. He asked, "Who are you?"

"Mr. Antonio, we take money for our work and don't know who our employer is!" The lead wearing crimson clothes said.

Antonio took a deep breath and his brain ran quickly. He would be able to fight with these people, but with Adelaide, he would be distracted to worry about her, now he could only hold off time!¶¶¶¶¶¶¶¶
