Chapter 178: No Second Way

"Sis, you know him?" Freddie had a wary face.

"Sis?" Cleveland's eyes were full of smiles.

Hayden sighed helplessly, "Freddie, you've exposed everything."

She did tell Cleveland that she had a fiancé but she did not say who was her fiancé. When Freddie called her 'sis', their relationship was instantly exposed. It was not her fault.

He was still too simple-minded.

"You guys talk, I'll go over there with Alayna."

Hayden touched her nose awkwardly and pulled Alayna away.

In broad daylight, it was impossible that Cleveland would do anything to Freddie. It was just that she and Alayna felt really awkward to stay here. It was more suitable for them to escape immediately. After Hayden left, Freddie glared at Cleveland in displeasure and also intended to leave.

"Don't you want to know how Hayden and I met?"

"No."

"Do you think it's more unacceptable for someone you detest to be your boyfriend or to be your brother-in-law?"

"What do you mean?" Freddie stopped and when he turned back his head, he saw the photo inside Cleveland's phone.

His gaze instantly became alert. He grabbed Cleveland's collar and lowered his voice, saying, "I warn you, don't approach Hayden. Don't blame me for being ungracious."

"Oh?" Cleveland just let him grab his collar and did not struggle. He casually put his hands in the trouser pockets. His gold-rimmed glasses reflected a cold light and he said thoughtfully.

"I'd like to know how are you going to be ungracious?"

Freddie was furious.

"I'll expose the news that you're a homosexual pervert and by that time, the media and reporters will definitely publish the news. Don't forget that you have an ex-wife and children. Being gay, your behaviour of cheating a woman to marry you is immoral. After the exposure of this news, do you think that your company will be fine?"

"Before the news is exposed, I'll hand over the position of CEO to my younger brother."

Cleveland looked at the teenager in front of him like a wolf staring at a small rabbit. He was indeed relaxed.

"And after you expose this, I'll take this opportunity to announce your relationship with me as a lover. You can then retire together with me."

"You're bullshitting." Freddie's face instantly turned blue, "Who the fuck is your lover?"

"I really like to see you hurl vulgar words to curse people."

Cleveland's lips curled and he smiled like a civilized degenerate.

Freddie was so angry that his blood boiled and he could not say a word of rebuttal.

"If you calm down, how about listening to me for a few words?"

Cleveland reached out a hand and patted his shoulder, "I won't touch Hayden but you have to make peace with me."

"I'm a normal man."

Freddie quickly put away his hand and took two steps back. He was full of caution, "What you have in your mind is absolutely impossible." "I'm a normal man too."

Cleveland shrugged his shoulders. Such a rascally action surprisingly somewhat showed a lazy sense of elegance, "It was an accident that day, I was inebriated." Freddie looked at him suspiciously, "If I remember correctly, you only drank half a glass of red wine that day."

He kindly sent him home but was taken advantage of by him. Whenever Freddie thought about it, he had a headache.

Thinking about Hayden's safety, he took a deep breath, "Well, I can promise to get along with you as a friend but you don't approach Hayden again."

"I don't lack friends." Cleveland looked at him with a smirk, "You're clear that what is the purpose of I getting along with you. You want to turn a blind eye but I don't want to."

The business world was already very complicated. In terms of relationship, he was used to be straight to the point and he did not like to cover up.

"Then what do you want?" Freddie gritted his teeth and his face already swelled with anger.

"Date me like normal lovers."

"You..."

"There is no second way." Cleveland took a glass of wine from the hands of a waiter who passed by. He turned around and walked to Hayden, leaving some words.

"Hayden should have recently broken up with Joseph. It's very coincidental that my younger sister also has a little relationship with Joseph. As long as I help a little, it isn't strange to change the matter of a love relationship. I'll give you a night to consider, tell me the answer at the end of the banquet."

Freddie trembled with anger at the same spot. He could not stop and could just watch Cleveland stride towards Hayden. When he turned around, he saw a familiar figure at the door entering the banquet hall.

It was Joseph.

In full view of everyone, he and Addison came in side by side. Addison was locking his arm in hers and they looked like a perfectly compatible couple.

Freddie frowned and subconsciously glanced at Hayden. He was slightly relieved.

Fortunately, Hayden was talking to Cleveland so she did not notice Joseph.

He was half relieved but he felt suffocated again.

Cleveland was indeed a damn faggot. He cheated his ex-wife to have a child with him and now still wanted to cheat Hayden? He was indeed shameless.

"Joseph, my elder brother has said that he wants to enjoy drinking with you. He hasn't seen you for some days."

Addison nestled beside Joseph and her tone was intimate.

Joseph, however, was a little distracted. Not long after entering the hall, he saw Hayden and Cleveland standing next to each other. His paces instantaneously stopped and he frowned.

Following Joseph's direction of gazing, Addison also saw the scene. She revealed a puzzled look, "Isn't that Hayden? How come my elder brother and her..."

Halfway through her sentence, she suddenly smiled, "To be frank, Ms. Downey is the type of woman my elder brother will like."

"Didn't your elder brother get married?"

Joseph's voice sounded beside and his tone was with obvious displeasure.

"You don't know?" Addison looked up at him, "My sister-in-law went to the United States after giving birth to my niece. They divorced five years ago but this was kept secret. Even my parents also knew it recently and they're also urging my elder brother to replace another spouse."

Joseph frowned even more. Seeing Cleveland and Hayden talking and laughing, his heart abruptly had a huge burden which caused him to suffocate.

He thought that after going out for a week to take a break, she would not be angry anymore but he really did not expect that she was so capable that in the blink of an eye, she could flirt with Cleveland. Seeing her look, she surprisingly did not even care about the previous matter and on the contrary, she was very happy?

"Joseph, my second elder brother is here."

Addison's reminding voice sounded behind him.

"I have something to do, let's talk about it later."

Joseph pulled his hand out and directly left, leaving Addison behind.

Looking in the direction he left, Addison bit her lips and her eyes darkened.

After taking a few steps, Joseph was stopped by a figure coming out of the crowd. It was Addison's mother.

"Joseph, you're finally here. Your uncle has been waiting for you for a long."

The word 'Joseph' sounded not far away. Hayden subconsciously looked in the direction where the voice came from and saw that a graceful and attractive woman was talking to Joseph. She was very intimate and passionate. Simultaneously, Cleveland's voice without fluctuation sounded beside her.

"That's my mother. By the way, perhaps you don't know yet. My mother and Joseph are very close and they're basically as close as a mother and a son."

Hayden's smile gradually froze and stiffened.0000000☐☐☐☐☐☐☐
