President’s Twins: Buy One, Get One Free
Chapter 69: Why Don’t You Believe Me?

I did not believe it, of course!

Freddie glared at Joseph's back. His youth-like face was full of hostility.

Joseph was the CEO of ST Group, what kind of thing he could not get? He came to such a small apartment was to experience another kind of lifestyle? He did not believe that Joseph did not have other plans.

Hayden quickly cleaned up the bed and when she came out, she handed new towels and toiletries to Joseph.

In the evening, Stella and Joseph were brushing their teeth in the washroom. Stella stood on the small bench and brushed her teeth until there was a mouthful of foam. She looked jubilant.

"Why are you laughing?" Joseph asked her.

Stella spat a mouthful of mouthwash and stood on the small bench, hooking Joseph's little finger with her little finger.

Joseph understood what she meant and bent his body.

She patted his shoulder and sighed like a small adult, "I have told you early that my mommy is very outstanding. Many people want to chase her."

Thinking of Freddie, Joseph was a bit unhappy so he asked.

"Then what do you think I should do?"

"Put in more effort and you should take the initiative, Mister." Stella straightened her body and beamed with joy.

"If you make an effort now, it's still not too late. Also, you can get an obedient and cute daughter like me for nothing. But if you don't make an effort, you may marry Viola in the future whom Noah doesn't like. Moreover, even if you two have another daughter in the future, she won't be as cute as me."

These illogical words made Joseph smiled helplessly. He took a towel to wipe Stella's mouth and caressed her soft hair, saying.

"Okay, I have understood. Go to bed."

"Alright, remember to make an effort, Mister. I'll support you."

Stella kissed his cheeks and jumped off the bench. She then skipped merrily towards her bedroom.

"Why does this girl look so excited? What did she say to you just now?"

Hayden, who had just entered after drying the clothes under the sun, picked up her own mouthwash cup and simply asked.

Joseph stared at the two figures standing side by side in the mirror. One used a toothbrush and a cup that were red while the other used a toothbrush and a cup that were blue. When the woman beside him asked him about her child's matter in a relaxed state, he surprisingly wished to enjoy such a peaceful and steady life forever.

He was so moved that he was a little lost in thought.

As Hayden did not get his response, she subconsciously looked at Joseph in the mirror and saw that he was also looking at her. Slightly stunned, she bit her toothbrush while slurring, "What's wrong with you?"

Joseph returned to his senses, "Nothing, it's just that the toothbrush is too hard."

"Is it?" Hayden glanced at the toothbrush in his hand, "There is a convenience store downstairs. Do you want me to buy you a new one? I usually don't care about this kind of matter so the toothbrushes I buy are quite cheap." "No need, I'll make do with it."

Joseph looked indifferent. He went back to his room after brushing his teeth.

Noah was moving and turning on the bed. He looked very energetic.

"Noah, time to hit the sack."

Joseph pressed Noah's shoulder that was moving and pulled the quilt to cover their bodies.

Noah burrowed in Joseph's arms and lay using a relatively comfortable posture. It was rare to see him so obedient.

When Joseph thought of the special feelings he had for Hayden, he frowned. He looked at the ceiling and could not fall asleep. He comforted himself by thinking that the reason he had this kind of special feeling was that he cared about Noah's feelings. After all, it was a rare matter that Noah was willing to be close to someone as he was normally unwilling to do so since young.

After meeting Hayden, Noah's temper was much better than before and became a lot more cheerful.

The reason he agreed to marry Viola last time was that he cared about Noah's feelings. But now, it seemed that Noah obviously liked Hayden more. Perhaps Noah did not simply want a mommy, but he had already made up his mind that the kind of mommy he wanted to have was Hayden?

Thinking of this, he could somehow figure out some of his doubts before.

"Noah, do you really hope to have a mommy like Hayden?"

Noah had already closed his eyes but after hearing those words, he crawled up from Joseph's arm. He took his drawing board, wrote a line of words and rudely put it on Joseph's body.

"Even if I hope, it's to no avail. You don't manage to chase her. I have seen everything today that she doesn't even want to bother you. The reason she let us stay here is for my sake. Stella says Freddie has a good relationship with her mommy."

As Joseph's charm was continuously doubted by the two little kids, he was a bit depressed.

"Why don't you believe me?"

Noah wrote on the drawing board again, "Have you ever chased a woman?"

Joseph touched his nose awkwardly.

He never.

After looking at Joseph's expression for a while, Noah apparently understood and sighed heavily. He pulled the quilt and slept. He was unwilling to bother Joseph anymore.

Noah thought inwardly that Joseph totally did not have the experience of chasing a woman as he was chased by others since he was young. In this case, how would he know how to chase a woman. Without Stella's help, he definitely had no chance at all. When Joseph saw his son's such behaviour, he became even more depressed and could not fall asleep. Before the lights were off, he took his phone and sent a text message.

The next morning, Hayden was still sleeping but there were noises outside suddenly. Stella opened the door and ran in. She was wearing pyjamas with a cartoon of a little bunny and she jumped onto the bed to awake Hayden.

"Mommy, something's wrong, something's wrong, a lot of people are at the door of our house."

With a drowsy face, Hayden yawned and said.

"What?"

"They're all carrying cameras. The entrance of our house is blocked."

"What?" Hayden finally regained her senses this time. She rolled her body and sat up from the bed, "What cameras? How many people?"

"Quite a lot?"

Hayden came out of her room in pyjamas. Joseph also seemed to have just been woken up. He opened the door and stood at the bedroom door, staring at the door suspiciously. "What's going on?" he asked.

"I don't know." Hayden hurriedly walked towards the door, "Stella says there are many people at the door, I'll go to take a look."

There were a peephole on the door and a small bench that had not been moved away. It was put there when Stella stepped on it to see what was going on outside just now. Hayden lifted the cover of the peephole to take a look. After taking a glance, she was scared out of her wits.

"Oh my god!"

She staggered backward and almost fell. But fortunately, Joseph was quick and able to hold her shoulder.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes." Her face was pale. She slowly let out a breath, "It should be someone else looking at the peephole of my house. I saw an eye just now, it scared me to death."

"Let me take a look." Joseph walked to the door, approached the peephole, and carefully observed for a while.

"How is it? What have you seen?"

"There are a lot of people in the corridor but they aren't looking for us."

"Not looking for us?" Hayden heaved a sigh of relief but she suddenly thought of something and asked, "Eh? Wait, we're the only residents on this floor."

Joseph turned his head and looked at the other room, saying slowly, "Other than us, isn't there another person living in this house?"000
