Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1035

Anthea supported herself with an arm, half leaning on the head of the bed, and was not nice to Kyla at all. "Now you've already seen me."

"Anthea, are you okay?" Kyla put the bouquet on the table and sat down on the chair next to her. Without waiting for Anthea reply, she spoke first, "In addition to visiting you, I have something else to talk with you."

Anthea's brows furrowed even more tightly.

Kyla said that she wanted to see if Anthea was okay, but she didn't pay much attention to her illness at all. She just came here with other purposes.

"What do you want to talk?" Anthea asked calmly.

Kyla clasped her hands together and seemed to be thinking about how to put in words. Then she said in a low voice, "About the photoes and the anonymous posts, it was my mistake. I sincerely apologize to you. I hope you can forgive me! Please speak up for me in front of the school leaders and teachers and don't let me get expelled! You are the victim. If you can forgive me, I think they will also let this matter go!"

After Anthea heard this, the corner of her mouth

twitched.

She glanced at the bouquet on the cabinet next to her. It was so small and only contained a few branches, several petals of which were even shrivelled. It was evidently bought on the roadside. Kyla was not sincere at all.

When Kyla spoke just now, Anthea had more or less guessed that she came here with other

purposes.

It must be that the school leaders and teachers still insisted on punishing Kyla after she begged them time and again, so Kyla had no other choice but to come to the hospital to ask for her help. Anthea shook her head. "Sorry, I can't help you."

"Why?" Kyla suddenly became a little exasperated and said with a pale face, "Anthea, although it was me who took the photo, you did not get hurt in the end, didn't you? And the anonymous posts, the headmaster had cleared it for you. You made me lose face in front of the whole school. Now I'm probably going to be expelled. We are all classmates, so be kind and don't destroy me!"

Seeing that Anthea was still unmoved, Kyla stood up from the chair as if she had been humiliated. "I apologized to you in a very humble way just now. What else do you want me to do? Are you so petty? Don't tell me you want me to kneel down before you?"

Anthea almost laughed out of anger.

Was this the so-called moral blackmail?

It was Kyla who did something wrong and took the initiative to hurt people, but she acted so indignantly. Anthea was the victim. It was her own business whether she forgave Kyla or not. Why did she become a narrow-minded and unkind person if she did not forgive her?

"Kyla, you don't have to kneel down to me, because it's no use even if you kneel down!" Anthea pursed her lips and continued calmly, "You have to be punished for your wrongdoings. And you shouldn't come to me for help, because the school is not run by my family."

If Kyla was truly remorseful, perhaps she would have a sense of compassion for her. But apparently, Kyla pretended to be pitiful and seek sympathy from her.

Anthea was not a fool and could see her tricks!

"You..." Kyla's eyes were red with hatred.

It was just because she could replace no way out after she failed to be forgiven by all the leaders and teachers in the school, so she came to beg Anthea to help her. However, Anthea didn't seem to be touched at all!

What should she do now?

Anthea closed her eyes and said coldly, "I want to sleep. You can go now!"

Gritting her teeth, Kyla could only turn around and leave, while also taking the flowers on the cabinet away with her.

Anthea rolled her eyes speechlessly.

Ten minutes later, the door of the ward was knocked and pushed open again. Anthea thought that it was Kyla coming back, so she felt very annoyed and shouted angrily, "I said that I don't want to see you!" "If you don't want to see me, then I'll go." A deep male voice came into her ears.

"Adam!" Anthea exclaimed with her eyes sparkling.

"I didn't say that to you just now!" She quickly sat up again and leaned against the head of the bed, explaining embarrassingly. "One of my classmates just came to see me hypocritically. She was very annoying, so I drove her out. I just thought that she was back again!"

Adam put a book on the hospital bed and said, "It's the comic book you want."

Anthea looked a little embarrassed. In fact, the comic book was just an excuse she came up with yesterday. She didn't expect Adam to rent the book and bring it to her. She held the book in her arms and said sweetly, "Thank you, Adam!"

Adam asked, "How are you feeling?"

"I'm fine!" Anthea's eyes flickered and she felt a little guilty.

Adam nodded and immediately said, "When I went out of the elevator just now, I met your surgeon. He said that you had recovered well and there had been no sign of fever."

"Well, yeah. I just can't eat anything. I'm so hungry!" Anthea said bitterly.

But there was nothing Adam could do about this. Anthea couldn't even drink water for now.

Seeing that Adam didn't sit down, Anthea was afraid that he would leave after saying a few words. She didn't want to stay here alone in the ward, so she quickly proposed, "Adam, the doctor suggested that I should move around to promote the enterocinesia and prevent the bowel adhesion. I haven't gotten out of the bed yet today. Can you accompany me to walk around the corridor?"

"All right," Adam agreed.

Then they came out of the ward. Adam held the IV pole with one hand and supported Anthea with another one. They walked slowly along the corridor outside. There was a wide bridge in front of them, which had a glass handrail on both sides. It was a sunny day.

Anthea suddenly noticed Adam's right hand and asked in surprise, "Have you removed the gauze?"

When she had the surgery the day before yesterday, she saw that his right hand was still wrapped in gauze. She didn't expect that the gauze would be removed so soon. "Yes, I removed it last night." Adam nodded.

This kind of minor injury was really nothing to him. With gauze, it would be inconvenient for him to move.

Anthea bit her lips. She couldn't see his palm, but there was a shallow scar on the back of his right hand, which was caused by her with a bottle of wine in the bar before.

Thinking of what she had done, she scratched her neck in embarrassment and said, "Adam, when you catch the deserter, can you let me know?"

She would feel a little more at ease if the deserter was caught.

Adam saw through her thoughts and nodded happily, saying, "Okay."

"It's so good that you can come to see me. I felt so bored. But I didn't disturb your work, did I?" Anthea asked Adam with a smile. She knew that he had a lot of things to do every day even if he was not in the army.

"No." Adam shook his head and then asked lightly, "Didn't your male classmate come today?"
