Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1045

Anthea ran as fast as a rabbit all the way. When she reached the Principal's room, she almost threw herself into Adam's arms.

Adam steadied her and helped her stand firmly.

Although he wasn't in the public classroom just now, he could watch the surveillance video.

He could see that Anthea was sitting alone in the middle of the public classroom. The sun outside the window shone on her side face, who was serious and quiet.

Although in the eyes of a professional soldier like him, retaking the exam was not a wise move, he had to admit that this was really a good fightback. Anthea denied their charges directly with her practical action!

Her palm-sized face was delicate and pretty, and her white skin was creamy. In particular, she did not have a ponytail today, and her hair was all down behind her head, which made her features more tender and beautiful.

At this time, her bright shining eyes were staring at him, with an expression of seeking credit and praise from him.

If she had a ponytail today, the ponytail must be shaking happily at this time.

Adam's lips curled up unconsciously. "Yes."

"Haha!" Anthea laughed even more widely, but soon her happiness brought her pain. She frowned and took a deep breath. "Oh!"

"What's wrong?" Adam asked.

Anthea bent down slightly, grimaced, and stretched out her hand to touch the lower abdomen on the right, saying bitterly with her head up, "The wound seems to be opened up!"

It might be because she had run upstairs too hurriedly to replace him and accidentally touched the wound.

"I'll take you to the hospital now!" Adam immediately said in a deep voice

Half an hour later, they arrived at the People's Hospital again.

The wound had not yet been completely healed. Now it was opened again. After a careful examination of the wound, the doctor proposed that it needed to be re-sewed, and he ordered the nurse next to him to bring the tools.

After the doctor put on a pair of gloves, the nurse helped him take off Anthea's school uniform and then rolled up the hem of Anthea's T-shirt.

As the cloth was lifted up, her fair and tender skin was exposed in the air.

In order to facilitate the doctor's work, the nurse rolled hem of her T-shirt high up, and the white lace under her bra could even be seen.

Adam was a little flustered. He looked away and said, "I'm going out to smoke a cigarette."

Watching him leave, Anthea bit the corner of her mouth lightly, and her face flushed red.

She didn't know if he was also thinking of that night, just like her.

Back then, he had covered her waist with his huge hand.

The cut was not very deep, and the doctor treated the wound fluently. After the disinfection, he quickly sewed up the wound again and said in a loud voice, "All right, I'm done!"

"You must pay more attention to the wound. Do not run or jump vigorously again. You have to come back to the hospital a week later, and I'll take out the stitches then!" "Okay, thank you, doctor."

The doctor nodded and gave her a few more instructions. Then, he prescribed some antiinflammatory and anti-infective drugs for her.

Anthea walked out of the emergency room and ran to the smoking area to replace Adam, but she immediately remembered the doctor's words and slowed down. Through the glass on the door, she saw Adam standing there, tall and straight, smoking with one hand in his pocket.

Holding the cigarette butt with slender fingers, he exhaled the white smoke deftly.

It was the first time that she had seen someone smoke so attractive.

Seeming to have noticed that someone was staring at him, Adam turned to look at her and said, "Your wound has been sewed up?"

"Yes!" Anthea quickly came back to her senses, pushed open the door and went in.

She scratched her head and asked with some doubts, "Uncle, why did you suddenly go to school?"

Now that she thought about it, she was still surprised at how he would appear in the teacher's office, as if he had descended from the sky. It seemed he would always appear in front of her whenever she was in trouble.

Her lucky-man.

Adam flicked the cigarette ashes and answered, "I'm afraid that you will be wronged."

On the phone, he heard that she seemed to have been called to the office by the teacher and was in trouble. He happened to perform a task with Carter nearby, so he did not think too much and drove over directly.

Anthea's heart swayed. It felt as if someone had thrown a pebble into it.

She licked her lips and managed to calm herself down. She coughed a little unnaturally and said, "Ahem, the fugitive has already been caught?"

"Yes." Adam nodded and glanced at her with a faint smile. "It's all thanks to you. Last time, you broke one of his arms with a stake, and we made arrangements in advance in the hospital, so that he could be easily caught!"

Anthea embarrassedly pulled her long hair up and asked, "What will you do to him?"

Adam said seriously, "According to military regulations, I will send him to the military court first, and then he will be sentenced."

"Okay!" Anthea nodded, a little confused. Then suddenly she thought of something and urgently asked, "Are you going back to the army?"

"Yes." Adam replied in a low voice.

"When?"

"In a minute," Adam answered.

If it weren't for the fact that he couldn't rest assured about her and went to the school, he would've

already been on the highway back to the army.

Anthea bit her lip.

No wonder that he was not wearing the camouflaged training uniform today, but a military uniform, which looked particularly formal with an epaulet. He also had a service cap on his head and a tie around his neck. He was in such a good shape, that he looked more like a male model.

"When will you come back?" She couldn't help asking.

"I have no idea. There's a mission this time. We'll take in a combat exercise with live ammunition when we return to the army. It may take one or two months. I'm not sure how long it will take."

"I see." Anthea mumbled and clenched her hands behind her back involuntarily.

She knew that the soldier was a very special profession, and he had to spend most of the time in the army. But, that meant that she would not see him for a long time.

She suddenly had an unspeakable sense of loss in her heart.

The military green jeep stopped at the gate of Vaden High School. Anthea unfastened her seat belt reluctantly.

Just as the door of the car was about to close,

Adam reminded her, "Pay more attention to the wound."

"Okay!" Anthea nodded and waved at him. "Bye, uncle. Be careful on your way!"

After a light response came from his nose, Adam stepped on the accelerator and started the car again, which quickly melted into the traffic.

Until the military green color disappeared, Anthea still stood in the same place and watched for a long time.

Suddenly, someone patted her right shoulder hard. Leonardo came out of nowhere. He teased, "Anthea, I know that's your uncle, but you look like you are seeing off your lover!"
