Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1056
The sun was shining brightly in Sunday afternoon.
Students only had classes in the morning, which gave campus an almost festive air. Shelby held her textbooks and walked towards the girls' dormitory building.
Although it was a boarding school, she never lived in the dormitory because she felt that it would demean her. She would only go back occasionally when during lunch break.
Today, the driver had a small accident on the road, so he came late. She did not want to wait for him in the classroom for she had to waste her energy dealing with those who wanted to befriend her. One or two of them were so ignorant that they even praised Anthea in front of her!
Shelby almost put a long face there.
Kyla, the good-for-nothing, went for wool and came home shorn in the last exam. She did not ruin Anthea's reputation but made her even more popular. However, after knowing her identity from Jayden, Shelby felt that she was not worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as her!
In fact, Shelby didn't like any young boy in the
school. She thought that they were childish and didn't worthy of her. There was only one person who could really deserve her.
That was her sister's husband!
A hint of greed appeared in her eyes when she thought of that.
Although she was disdainful of the boys at school, Shelby would still shake her long, flowing locks from time to time along the way. She kept a smile on her face and looked like a goddess, enjoying the feeling of being flattered.
When she was about to reach the first floor of the dormitory, she suddenly saw a green army jeep park there.
After the door of the driver's seat opened, a tall and strong figure came down. He was dressed in black and wore a pair of military boots.
A cigarette was lit in his hand, and white smoke was curling around his handsome and cold facial features. There was no expression on his face, but he looked so charming and projected an aura of confidence Undoubtedly, the naive boys in the school were not in his league.
Shelby was instantly overjoyed.
Regardless of protecting her modesty, Shelby trotted toward him with excitement.
"Ad..."
Before the word "Adam" was shouted out, a figure suddenly ran out of the girls' dormitory building.
Holding her bag, Anthea rushed down from the third floor all the way. When she ran to Adam, her nose was beaded with sweat, and the two cute dimples on the corners of her mouth were obvious.
The school management was relatively loose on Sunday, so cars were allowed to enter. Therefore, Adam directly drove to her dormitory.
Anthea was panting, and she said bluntly, "Adam, I promise you that I will be all ears today. I will remember every word you say to me. Just don't forget what you promised!" "Okay." Adam nodded.
Then he stubbed out the cigarette in his hand and popped it in the trash can. He raised his sharp chin slightly and said, "Get in the car."
When he spoke, Anthea had already walked around the car, got into the passenger seat quickly, and fastened the safety belt.
The military jeep turned around and left.
Watching the car drive away, the smile on Shelby's face like a cracked mirror, looking gloomy and ugly.
In the evening, the sound of writing could be heard everywhere in the master bedroom.
After Anthea solved the last question's formula, she put the book and the pen on the table together and grinned at him. "Adam, I've finished. Check it and see if it's right!" Adam, who had not finished smoking a cigarette, raised his eyebrows slightly.
After checking all the solution steps, he narrowed his dark eyes and looked at her. "The last two questions. Perfect solutions."
Anthea's face lit up with joy. "Then let's go!"
"Right now?"
"Yes!" Anthea quickly stuffed the textbooks back into her bag. "Adam, you promised me yesterday, and now it's time to fulfill my wish! Come on, let's buy the evening tickets!"
As soon as she finished her words, her slender figure had already jumped to the door like a rabbit.
Adam saw that she was joyful and could not bear to refuse, so he had to get up and follow her.
Five minutes later, the jeep drove out of the residential building.
Anthea gently pulled her seat belt with both hands and tilted her head to enjoy the view outside the window. His bright eyes sparkled under the dazzling declining sun. When they were close to the amusement park, the
landmark Ferris wheel could be seen.
Because it was on the weekend, there were many tourists here. After parking the car, Adam lined up to buy tickets with his wallet.
Anthea was waiting for him obediently outside the crowd. Her mobile phone in her pocket vibrated. She took it out and found Leonardo had sent her a message. "What are you doing? Come on, let's replace a LAN center and play games!"
Anthea glanced at the man who bent over to look for change by the window and replied, "No. I'm busy!"
Golden Leonardo asked, "What are you up to?"
Anthea replied, "I'm dating!"
Golden Leonardo,"!"
The next second, her phone rang. In her sight, Adam's tall and strong figure was already walking toward her with two tickets in his hands.
Anthea hung up without hesitation. She was afraid of being disturbed again, so she directly turned off her phone.
Adam handed her a ticket and said, "Let's go in."
"Okay!" Anthea nodded and followed him happily.
Staring forward, his shoulders were broad and he looked so brawny, her heart beat faster. She was both looking forward to the date-time and excited at the same time.
When they entered, it was not yet completely dark, and the evening show had just begun. The park was in full flow. Except for those parents who took their children here to play, most of them were couples, which created a sweet and happy atmosphere everywhere.
Thinking that they were coming alone, Anthea bit the corner of her mouth and blushed.
After entering inside, they were dazzled by the endless array of amusement facilities.
Even in such a noisy environment, Adam always stood out in a crowd. It seemed that he was born with the aura that everything around him faded into a foil.
He was plainly but neatly dressed, and he wore a pair of military boots. He looked cold and stern, but also alarmingly handsome.
He was tall and strong. He stood there casually, like a pine rising from the ground.
Realizing that she was staring at him rigidly again, Anthea secretly cleared her throat and quickly shifted her attention. She pointed at the pirate ship in front of them and said, "Adam, do you like that?"
Adam fell silent.
Seeing him slightly frown, looking at the rocking pirate ship and the tourists who were waving their hands and shouting, Anthea blinked. "Haven't you tried it before?"
"No." Adam shook his head.
Hearing this, Anthea was stunned and asked, "Adam, have you ever been to the amusement park?"
Adam thought for a while and replied, "This is my first time."
"Ah?" Anthea was surprised and looked at him incredulously. "Didn't your parents take you here when you were a child?"
