Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1081

Anthea stood there in a daze, looking at him obsessively.

Adam took back his big palm, turned around, and walked to the door again.

Anthea came to her senses and ran after him for two steps. He paused and looked at her with his dark eyes, which showed no emotion, "Anthea, you should go to bed early. Tomorrow I'll take you to have another hot pot!"

The door was closed.

Anthea sat back on the sofa. Thinking of what she had done just now, she blushed and felt ashamed.

She could not understand him. In the end, there seemed to be a hint of helplessness in his tone.

But at least, he didn't drive her away...

This was enough to make her happy.

Anthea picked up the wonton again. Although it was cold, she still ate happily. She was so satisfied that she closed her eyes.

The next day, she woke up early.

After having a half-full breakfast, Anthea kept her belly empty and are expecting to have a hot pot with him at noon.

The hot pot only for the two of them.

The comers of her mouth curled up as she immersed herself in joy.

When the sun was getting brighter outside the window, Anthea looked at her watch. It had passed 11 o'clock. She picked up her cell phone and was ready to call him.

It seemed that he could always guess what she was going to do. The moment she opened the phone book, he called her.

"Anthea, I can't take you to have a hot pot today."

After listening to his words, Anthea's little face was suddenly covered with disappointment. She suddenly stood up and asked, "Why?"

"I'm a little uncomfortable." Adam explained.

Upon hearing this, Anthea asked in a hurry, "Uncle Adam, are you sick?"

"Yes, I caught a cold," Adam replied.

On the line, she seemed to hear some faint coughs. Anthea became anxious. "Did you have a fever? Is it serious? Did you go to the hospital?"

"There's no need." Adam said.

Anthea frowned, "Did you take medicine?" "No, it doesn't matter." Adam said. As soon as he finished his sentence, he coughed twice.

Anthea knew that it was because of her that Adam did not returned to the army for the past two days. He should be in the dormitories downtown. She asked, "Uncle Adam, where is your dormitory?" Adam seemed to tell her the address by a slip of tongue, and urged, "Have lunch by yourself. There is a restaurant in the hotel. If you want to go out, be careful and don't take illegal taxi." Hanging up the phone, Anthea didn't have the mood to eat.

She put on the sneakers and walked out of the room with her backpack. When the elevator reached the first floor, she went straight out.

There was a pharmacy with a green plaque on the opposite of the street. Anthea ran across the street and said after entering, "I want medicine to treat cold!"

After paying, she took the bag with medicine and stopped a taxi.

The driver arrived at the address she had mentioned. Half an hour later, the taxi was parked steadily in front of an apartment building.

After Anthea registered at the guard's room, she went in successfully.

She came out of the elevator on the 12th floor. There was a brick-red security door, and she went up to knock on the door. Footsteps came from inside.

The door creaked.

The door was pushed open from inside, and Anthea couldn't help but took a step forward.

She grinned, revealing two faint dimples in her cheeks. "Uncle..."

The second word was stopped abruptly on the tip of her tongue, as if her whole body had been nailed to the spot.

The person standing in front of the door was not Adam, but Mira.

She was wearing a white bathrobe. Her black hair was all over her shoulders, revealing her beautiful neck and collarbone. With the light makeup on her face, she was extremely amorous.

Great waves surged in Anthea's heart, rolling layer by layer, and she was almost drowned.

"Anthea!" Mira also seemed to be stunned when she saw her, with a subtle evasiveness in her eyes.

At this time, it seemed that this kind of evasiveness was worthy of a further investigation.

Anthea's tongue seemed stiff. It took her a long time to utter a word, "...Aunt Mira?"

"Who is it?"

At this moment, a deep and vigorous male voice sounded.

Looking over Mira's shoulder, Anthea saw a tall and strong figure behind her.

It seemed that he had just come out of the bathroom, because he was naked to the waist. He had a bath towel around his waist, showing his broad shoulders and long legs and strong chest. Every muscle was full of strength, and there were still drops of water on it that had not dried up.

He had handsome features and a pair of cold and stern eyes. But at this moment, he looked a little languid.

This scene was too luscious.

Anthea stared at the bath towel on their bodies and stared at them.

"You are..."

She swallowed her saliva as if her soul had been sucked out.

Anthea looked at him and then at Mira. They stood side by side so intimately that there was no doubt about what they had done before she knocked the door.

From the corner of her eyes, it seemed that there were still messy clothes on the ground. It could be imagined how fierce it had been.

She couldn't continue to watch. One more look at it was one more death sentence to her.

Her heart began to sink infinitely.

It fell to the bottom of hell, and was mutilated.

Adam said in a deep voice, "Let's talk inside."

There was a flash of pity in his eyes. It was so fast that Anthea couldn't discern at all. She thought it must be an illusion.

"No, there's no need!" She shook her head dully and took a few steps back unconsciously. She spat out words like a robot, "Sorry, I've disturbed you. I'm just here to deliver the medicine..." She looked down at the medicine bag in her hand and found it ridiculous.

There was no illness at all. It was just an excuse to fool her. He just wanted to accompany Mira.

But who knew she would come....

She was overwhelmed by embarrassment. Anthea couldn't stay for one more second, so she turned around and ran away in embarrassment.

Her palm was beating on the button of the elevator, but the elevator was too slow. She pushed open the door of the escapeway next to her and ran down the long stairs in madness.

No wonder he was indifferent to her.

Because someone had already been with him for a long time.

Compared with the mature and charming Mira, she was simply an ignorant child. When she thought of the fact that she took off clothes in front of him last night and he didn't even raise his eyebrows, she thought that perhaps he was laughing at her in his heart.

Mira was a teacher of fine art. Such an artistic woman who really suited him.

When they met yesterday, Mira said that she was also from Ice city and was just transferred here half a year ago.

Anthea thought that Adam was transferred to Francis area so far away because of her confession. At this moment she finally knew he actually came here for Mira. They are enjoying their time here, and Anthea was just flattering herself.

Perhaps, in his eyes, she was just an annoying brat.

Anthea ran out of the apartment building from dozens of storeys with her legs, staggering.

The sun outside was bright and brilliant. The weather was hotter than that in the north. However, it didn't warm her up at all.

Anthea clapped her hand over her heart.

She felt as if her heart had been stabbed by an ice spike, making her feel cold and painful.
