Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1121

Seeing this, Anthea immediately let out a sigh of relief and asked, "Declan, what's up?"

Declan scratched his head embarrassingly. He didn't look as serious as he was during the military training. He was now a little shy. "Nothing special. There will be no gathering-up of the students tonight. Will you be busy at that time?

"I have two tickets for a drama. I have bought them online!

"It was not easy to buy them, because this drama is very popular, especially among young girls. Would you like to go with me tonight?"

Adam Chin suddenly turned out to be the general instructor of this military training program, and this fact caused Declan to feel a lot of pressure.

However, without pressure, there would be no motivation. Declan thought that he had to be more courageous and aggressive in order to steal the heart of Anthea!

When Anthea heard that there would be no gathering-up of students tonight, she felt extremely happy. She didn't listen carefully to what Declan had said afterward.

If the students needed not go to the basketball court tonight, did it mean that she could go out for a date with Adam?

Anthea's facial expressions became more vivid because of excitement.

The two of them had stayed in the disaster-stricken area before. And now they were both in the medical college. As lovers, they hadn't had any good opportunity to have a date like any other ordinary lovers... At this moment, Anthea was beginning to wonder what would be good for the two of them to do while dating.

Suddenly, she noticed that Declan was staring at her. She then stopped thinking too much about the date and quickly asked, "Declan, what were you talking about just now?"

Declan was still shy. "Ahem... I wanted to ask if you have time to watch a drama together with me?"

Anthea pretended to be apologetic and declined his invitation. "Declan, I'm sorry. I... I'm afraid I won't have time tonight!"

Hearing this, Declan felt a little disappointed, but he didn't appear to be unhappy. He was afraid to put her in a dilemma, and therefore he quickly shook his head, saying, "It's okay. You can go with me next time!"

"Brother Declan, then I'll need to go to the canteen for dinner!" Anthea smiled at him.

"Go ahead!" Declan nodded. He was originally a little disappointed, but when he saw Anthea showing two shallow dimples, he quickly cheered up. Her delicate facial features seemed to have a magical effect on him, "I have a training task in the afternoon. Eat more!"

Anthea thanked him with a charming smile, and then quickly ran to the canteen.

When she turned back inadvertently and saw Declan, who was still standing in the shadowy spot, she felt a little sorry for him.

"Err... Do I look like somebody who, as Leonardo said, cherishes s*x more than friendship now?" She thought.

However, Anthea couldn't take that much into consideration. After all, Adam's manliness and handsome face were too invincible!

Adam naturally knew that after the students were dismissed, Declan had called Anthea over and talked with her for a while.

For this reason, when the two of them were sitting on the ground behind the wall of the faculty's dormitory building, the first thing Adam asked was "what did Declan say to you".

Anthea was sitting cross-legged and leaning against the wall in a very lazy posture.

The two of them had made an appointment to have lunch together at noon. They each took their lunch boxes, bought their lunch in the canteen, and found a place outside of it to have lunch together. Anthea wished that she could be with Adam 24 hours a day!

Blinking her eyes, she bit her chopsticks naughtily and replied, "Ow! Declan told me that the students need not gather up on the basketball court tonight. He then asked me if I'm busy tonight. He said that he had two tickets for a play. He kindly asked me if I wanted to go out with him! But I refused him because I wanted to go on a date with my dear Uncle Chin!"

Adam didn't respond to her, but continued to eat his lunch.

His eyebrows furrowed slightly. No one knew what he was thinking about.

Anthea looked at his side face. Blinking her eyelashes, she put down the lunch box in her hand and suddenly hugged his arm from the side.

"What are you doing?" Adam tilted to her intimately.

Anthea asked with a smile, "Uncle, are you jealous?"

She felt more or less apologetic when asking him

this question.

It was because Anthea suddenly realized something. When she and Adam were still in the disaster-stricken area, for several times, he was doubtful whether she was going to have a boyfriend. Anthea didn't explain to him in a candid manner. Instead, she used Declan as a shield and excuse....

Anthea felt that it was necessary for her to make it clear to Adam so that he would not be harassed by any more misunderstandings. After all, he was unhappy last night when he saw that Anthea and Declan were standing together under the tree.

As a punishment, Adam required Anthea to kiss him. Wouldn't it be shameful if he required her to kiss him, or do something else as a compensation...

She pressed her delicate face against his shoulder and said in a soft voice, "I deliberately cheated you before! I was lying to you when I said Declan might become my boyfriend. In fact, I don't want to become Declan's girlfriend at all. Our relationship is as pure as water. I can swear to Saint Valentine about this!"

Anthea said it sincerely. She almost raised her hand to swear to Saint Valentine.

Adam's eyes swept across her little face, and he replied gently, "Okay."

Anthea saw that Adam's face had softened a lot.

Two shallow dimples appeared on her face. At this time, she didn't let go of his arm, but simply leaned on his body and continued to console him. "Declan just treats me like a little girl living next door. To tell you the truth, I also treat him like a neighbor!"

Adam raised his big hand and caressed her soft hair. The hair ends were entangled between his fingers and he was unwilling to let go of them.

He acted as if he was caressing a beautiful cabbage planted in his garden.

"A little girl and her neighbor?"

Adam's eyes narrowed. How was that possible!

Before the military training program restarted in the afternoon, Declan went back to the faculty's dormitory building again.

He had left his whistle on the bed, and the whistle was a necessary tool for training. He returned to the dormitory to fetch it. When he walked up to the fourth floor, he saw that there was a tall and handsome figure leaning against the wall near the window between the third floor and fourth floor.

He was wearing a training uniform of camouflage, as well as a pair of black military boots.

He had rolled up his sleeves, revealing two forearms that were even sturdier than Declan's. Even though he was standing casually at this moment, the aura that emanated from his body was astonishingly powerful, making Declan couldn't help but hold his breath.

Declan's backbone tightened subconsciously. In front of his superior, he felt somewhat nervous.

He walked over, stood at attention, and saluted. "Captain Chin!"

Adam raised her eyes slightly and said, "It's okay."

At ordinary times, Adam tended to be a stern superior. Now he seemed to be more gentle.

He was leaning half of his body against the windowsill, and the afternoon sun cast shadows on him. He stood in a casual posture, but he didn't seem to lack alertness. He wasn't smoking cigarette now, but was applying something like hand cream on his hand.

When Declan got closer, he found out that it was not hand cream, but aloe vera, which was almost an omnipotent skincare product.

Aloe vera was very effective in repairing the skin from sunburn. However, aloe vera, or other types of skincare products were generally used by girls. Men, especially strong and powerful men like soldiers or military officers, seldom use such skincare products.

Adam was now smearing aloe vera on the back of his hand, which did not give people a very feminine impression at all.

It was possibly because he was handsome, and at the same time was possessed of physical toughness. He looked tall and strong, and there was an air of alertness and decision in his whole expression. The act of using aloe vera did nothing to reduce his personal fascination.

Declan didn't replace anything wrong with Adam's act, but when his eyes fell on the aloe vera, he was confused.

"Why does it look so familiar?"
