Master Hsu didn't attend the anniversary celebration of the Hsu family, feeling that it was too noisy and crowded. Therefore, Anthea would not have been invited.

However, she came as Leonardo's female companion.

Adam would attend today, and Anthea had nothing to do at home.

To fulfill her promise, she called Leonardo to help him win the game and happened to know that he was going to attend this occasion on behalf of his parents abroad. Therefore she immediately offered to accompany him. But she did it for Adam.

After handing over the invitation card, Leonardo also walked in with Anthea.

The anniversary celebration was held in the open-air banquet hall. The lights of the white-jade pillars were as bright as daylight, beside which was a swimming pool. As the moist breeze blew by, it was cool and refreshing.

Though, someone was staring at Adam with greed in the eyes.

Anthea looked over and slightly frowned.

Anthea was quite surprised. After school started, Shelby had been taking sick leave. But now, she showed up in public.

Shelby was wearing a customized evening dress that matched her figure very well, making her look graceful. Both of her makeup and hair were exquisite, and her red lips were red like fire. She looked quite sexy and did not seem sick at all.

Anthea secretly pouted, knowing why Shelby was there.

Their eyes met inevitably. Shelby was stunned for a moment, and then her expression became cold and gloomy.

Anthea touched her forehead and thought, "Life is so horrible."

Not long after, Shelby said something to two young ladies with her skirt in her hand, and then the three came to Anthea slowly.

After the gentleman left disappointed, Anthea also turned to leave, feeling that it was a waste of time to be with the three. Seeing that the long table opposite was filled with snacks by the waiter, she felt hungry. Just as Anthea was about to leave, she was tripped.

There was a swimming pool beside her, and the poolside was damp, making her lose her balance in an instant.

Many people gathered at the poolside. Shelby was caught off guard and was dragged down by Anthea like a frightened duck. The water in the pool splashed, and no one noticed that her hand was quietly reaching out from under the water.
