Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1184
Carter ran down from the dormitory like a gust of wind.
As soon as he came out of the building, a heroic figure came over. She was not wearing a military cap, and her shoulder-length hair hung down beside her ears. Her lips seemed to be coated with transparent lip cream, which made them particularly plump.
Amelie asked him with a smile, "Carter, where is your Captain Chin?"
Carter snorted in his heart.
Amelie's military rank was much higher than his. Coupled with her innate aloofness, ordinary people could not catch her eye. Usually, whenever they met, it was Carter who had to greet her respectfully. But this day, she took the initiative to greet him.
As one of Anthea's supporters, Carter replied slowly, "Sleeping with my sister-in-law!"
Amelie's face stiffened slightly.
Carter gave a casual salute, and then directly put his hands in his pockets, shaking his head and leaving.
Amelie looked up at the dormitory building and left with a frown.
Anthea slept for a long time. After all, it was he who made it past two o'clock in the middle of the night. When she opened her eyes again, it was already four o'clock in the afternoon. She stretched out and felt very comfortable.
Adam was wearing an apron in the kitchen.
The room was as warm as spring, and a fragrance wafted over. He seemed to be cooking something.
Anthea dragged her slippers over and got into his arms from behind.
"You are awake!" Adam's lips curled up.
"I seem to have slept for a long time!" Anthea said.
Looking at her slightly pouted pink lips, Adam couldn't help kissing her, and then said, "I'll make ribs soup and fried dumplings for you tonight."
"Mm!" Anthea's eyes lit up.
She loved to eat the fried dumplings made by him. Cold and tasteless dumplings would become delicious in an instant and even dumplings in big restaurants were no match after being boiled with water and then fried in the frying pan by him,
Adam turned into a low fire for the pot braising soup and his cell phone rang. After he picked up the phone, he took off the apron and said to her, "I'll go to the office of the political commissar and I'll be back soon."
"Okay!" Anthea replied meekly.
When he came out of the office of the political commissar's office after handling the affairs, Adam ran into Amelie outside the dormitory building. She shouted at him from a distance, "Adam!" Adam stopped for a while and asked her, "Amelie, what's the matter?"
Amelie had waited for nearly four hours before he came out. Pretending to come across him, she opened her mouth and said, "I have made an appointment with Brother Gavin and the others to go to the shooting range after dinner. Why don't you come with us? We haven't been practicing shooting for a long time!"
"Okay." Adam thought for a while and asked, "When?"
Amelie replied with a smile, "Six o'clock. Meet at the shooting range!"
"Okay." Adam nodded.
After going upstairs and opening the door, he told Anthea directly, "I'll take you to the shooting range after dinner."
"Can I?" Anthea was stunned.
Adam touched her head and said, "Yes."
At six o'clock in the northern winter, the sky had already fallen. The lights in the shooting range were on. Because there was no training on the weekend, there were not many people.
Unlike the ordinary shooting range in the city, this was full of professional firearms and shooting grounds. Next to them stood officers who specialized in arranging guns, and there were rows of weapons of different sizes on the walls.
"Amelie, will Adam come or not?"
"Isn't his little girlfriend here to visit him!"
"If he comes, won't his little girlfriend be left alone in the dormitory?"
The crowd was in a buzz. Amelie tidied up her sleeves slowly, "There's nothing we can do. Apart from us, outsiders can't go in and out casually! Adam has always been a principled person."
This was also the reason why Anthea asked Adam if she could go after hearing that at that time.
After all, they were in the army, not an ordinary club.
Amelie was in a good mood.
In the past, even if they didn't need to train, they would come to the shooting range to have a friendly competition during the spare time. She began to look forward to it. She hadn't shot with Adam for a long time, and she could enjoy herself today.
But what she didn't know was that Adam had always been a man of principle, but he was not at the
moment.
There was only Anthea, his sweetheart, in his eyes.
Amelie looked at the door from time to time. When she saw the tall and strong figure, she suddenly stood up from the bench, but quickly stopped, and pursed her lips slightly.
Because there was a young girl with a ponytail standing by Adam's side.
Anthea's outfit was similar to that of last night, except that she had put on a knitted garment outside her white T-shirt and a thick overcoat outside. She looked like a small bear, but one could still tell that she was slender.
The small hand in her sleeve was held by Adam's big hand. She walked to the front of the crowd as if she was talking a walk.
When they saw Adam brought her family members over, they all winked at each other and made eye signals.
Adam's face was calm, and Anthea looked down with embarrassment.
It was too warm inside the room. She took off the overcoat outside. Adam immediately reached out to take it and hung it on the hanger next to her. The group of men immediately made jeers. Anthea's little face turned red.
When she came in, she noticed that Amelie was also there.
In such a group of male soldiers, Amelie, a female soldier, stood out.
Adam was called by Gavin and a few others. They chatted and adjusted the accuracy of the gun.
Anthea was the only one who was not good at shooting. She had been hereto accompanied Adam and was sitting on a chair next to Adam. On the other end of the bench, Amelie was sitting there as well. After a while, a bottle of water suddenly appeared in front of Anthea.
She thought it was Adam and revealed two shallow dimples, but when she looked up, she saw that it was Amelie.
Anthea was a little surprised. She kept her countenance, "Thank you!"
"You're welcome!" Amelie smiled.
She did not leave after handing over the water, but took the opportunity to sit next to Anthea.
Amelie took the initiative to talk. "Miss Lee, will you feel bored?"
"I won't!" Anthea shook her head, grinned and smiled, and answered very sincerely, "It's my first time to come to a shooting range like this. I feel that
everything is new!"
Amelie looked her up and down without her notice.
She had an innocent face, a pair of bright eyes, and she had a high ponytail. She looked so young and beautiful, especially when she was sitting there at the moment. And her legs often shook gently.
Amelie liked Adam all the time in her heart.
Since she was very young, she had liked to chase and run after him. They grew up together. They both came from wealthy families and shared the same interests and military career. They were both outstanding among the people, and they were almost a perfect match made in heaven.
Amelie had always felt that the timing was not right, but she did not expect that her family would arrange a marriage for her when she was sent abroad to participate in military exchange.
Amelie's heart ached when she heard the news. She didn't attend the wedding, and she still didn't want to give up Adam!
