Anthea was no longer sleepy at this time. She rubbed her eyes and opened them wide.

After glancing at the phone screen, she covered her face.

It was not Adam's phone that rang. It was hers. And it was her mother who had gone to the countryside.

Anthea's mother and father had gone to help in the countryside, and there was no one at home. Anthea would be alone at home. Mother called to ask out of worry, but she didn't know that Anthea didn't even board the train home!

Mother was as shocked as Anthea because her daughter suddenly turned into a man from the speaker.

She thought she made a wrong phone call. But the number was correct.

Mother hesitated and asked, "Anthea, who... who is that man?"

It was only eight o'clock in the morning. One could tell from the tip of her toes that their relationship was not ordinary!

She couldn't tell a lie that it was a male classmate.

Adam was still staring at her. Anthea knew that she could not hide it. She unnaturally pulled her messy long hair and decided to be frank with her mother, "Um... Mom, I haven't actually returned to the town. I've been here with my boyfriend all the time!"

"Huh?" Mother was surprised.

"You called me and said that you were going to the countryside, and then I returned the train tickets. I didn't go back to the town but went to replace my boyfriend!" Anthea was a little shy. She cleared her throat and continued, "Ahem, I just entered the relation with him this year. I haven't had time to tell you yet!"

Mother recovered from the shock and quickly switched the mode, "Is he from Ice city?"

"Yes, he is!"

"How old is he?"

Anthea hesitated for a moment and said, "Uh... nine years older than me!"

As expected, Mother remained silent. After a long while, she said, "Nine years older! Anthea, are you made into a mistress like some college students? That reported on TV news? Or have you been cajoled?" Anthea almost got choked by saliva.

"He is a serviceman!" She hurriedly explained, lest Mother imagined more on her own.

Anthea added, "I am visiting him in the army now!"

After explaining that Adam was a soldier, Mother suddenly calmed down a lot, "If he is a soldier, then I won't have many worries! Anthea, why didn't you tell us? It's too sudden. When will you take him home to let us see?"

"There will be a chance." Anthea nodded shyly.

Mother smiled and said, "In addition to Master Hsu, you have a boyfriend to take care of you in Ice city. Your father and I are relieved!"

"Mm!" She replied sweetly.

After the call, Anthea patted her chest and lay back on the bed.

Adam was still sitting there in the same posture. When they were talking, he didn't look away. He looked slightly solemn. Somehow, he felt nervous as if he, as a prospective son-in-law, was facing his future mother-in-law.

"You told your mother?"

"Yes!" Anthea nodded and slightly lifted the corners of her mouth, "Adam, I've seen your parents. I'll take you back to see mine when I have the chance. They're nice to get along with, especially my father. He admires soldiers. He must like you very much when he sees you!"

Adam lay down again and held her in his arms.

The two discussed the issue of meeting their parents, and decided that they could pay a visit after new year.

Adam supported his head with one of his arms and said, "Anthea, what does your mother think of me?"

"Oh!" Anthea blinked her eyes and had a wicked idea. She deliberately clicked her tongue and said, "Maybe she thought you're too old. She's worried that we'll have gap!" "Only nine years older." Adam frowned.

Adam's thin lips were pressed together.

He turned over and rushed to her. Adam held Anthea's face and kissed her hard.

Anthea patted him with a red face and said, "You irresponsible officer, hurry up and go to the training ground!"

In the corridor of the building, Anthea was walking to the dormitory with an empty basin in her arms.

She felt that she was more like a little wife here visiting Adam than when they were at home. Although the life in the army was very boring and there was nothing interesting to do, she was very happy. What she did the most every day was washing clothes for Adam.

All the empty basins in her hands fell to the ground.

Anthea thought that it was a lecher at first and was surprised that he dared to do such thing in the army. When she felt the familiar aura and body temperature, her intense body instantly softened, and his handsome eyes were so close.

She was made breathless by the kisses.

Anthea patted him on the chest with her little hand and said, "Hey! Hey! It's in the public area! Watch it."

After pushing him away with great difficulty, she looked around in a hurry. Fortunately, no one was

there!

After picking up the empty basin on the ground, Anthea pulled him to the dormitory, blushed.

Unexpectedly, as soon as they entered the door, Adam scooped her into his arms again.

After whirling around, Anthea was put on the table.

Adam placed his hands on the edge of the table, trapping her within his reach. Then, he kissed her forcefully again. When she was released, Anthea's lips swelled.

She put her hands on his broad shoulders, trying to catch her breath. And Adam seemed to be extremely happy.

Anthea couldn't help but feel surprised.

Adam was wearing formal uniform today with a broad-brimmed hat on his head. His belt outlined his figure and made him look especially stalwart. He looked more handsome and charming in this suite. Most importantly, his thin lips were curved. There was a bright smile in his eyebrows and his eyes.

Anthea blinked, "Why are you so happy? Something good?"
