Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1232

Anthea knew very little about German.

What she said at the banquet was almost all she knew about German, and she really couldn't understand any word the boy said in the ward.

"Nothing? What do you mean?" Anthea pressed.

Adam was totally speechless now.

Ich werde sie heiraten.

This sentence meant that he wanted to marry her.

That boy even dreamed of getting married. And his target was Anthea, which indeed pissed Adam off, even though he was just a child at the age of seven. He was so young, but he was acting like a playboy!

At the thought of this, Adam went furious and there was a malicious look in his eyes.

Looking at Anthea's confused eyes, he said perfunctorily, "He meant to thank you."

"Really?" Anthea frowned.

"Yes." Adam kept his face blank.

Although Anthea felt that something was wrong, she still nodded and thought that Adam's reply made sense.

She looked back in the direction of the hospital building, still feeling proud in her heart, and said expectantly, "Adam, shall we visit the child again tomorrow?"

A doctor always cared about the patients. Anthea gradually realized this and hoped to seethe little boy regain his vitality.

"No!" Adam's voice was gloomy.

Anthea looked at his dark face in confusion.

"What is his problem?" She wondered.

The military green jeep ran away in the night.

There was a black car parked in front of the hospital. Bellamy and his wife, Meadow, were sitting in it.

From the rearview mirror, they watched as Adam and Anthea walked to the parking lot to get the car hand in hand. Even though they were too far away from them and could not hear the conversation or see their expressions clearly, they could still feel the affection between their son and Anthea.

Meadow poked the husband next to her. "Stop watching. They have already gone!"

Bellamy slowly withdrew his gaze.

Meadow said, "Honey, it's all thanks to Anthea tonight. You really have given her a hard time and even shouted loudly to drive her out! If she hadn't been smart and persistent and made first aid measures for Hank's son, no one knew what would happen to that boy! Even Hank has praised her. You always said that she was too young to be Adam's girlfriend before. I guess you should have changed your mind now, right?"

Bellamy frowned, but did not say a word.

He recalled the scene at the banquet. Indeed, Anthea's performance made him look at her with new eyes, and even his prejudice was reduced. He had to admit that she was at least not a girl who knew nothing about the world.

Meadow continued, "From now on, just don't mess up with them!"

Bellamy was not glad to be reprimanded by his wife and grunted coldly. "I didn't say I agreed to accept her!"

"Okay, okay!"

Meadow rolled her eyes, waiting to see how long her husband's pretense of dislike for Anthea could last.

In the evening, the sky was ablaze.

The army green jeep stopped in front of the hospital building. Adam, dressed in a black leather coat, sat in the driver's seat. He took out a cigarette box from the storage compartment and lit a cigarette. White smoke curled up from the half-opened window. Although there was no expression on his face, he was very patient.

On the way here, Anthea had sent him a message, saying that she might be a little later than usual and let him wait for her for a moment.

Naturally, Adam had no problem with that.

After about twenty minutes passed, a slim figure walked out of the building.

Adam brightened at once and a faint smile appeared on his face.

There were many people coming in and out of the buidling, but her petite body was the most eyecatching thing in his eyes. Her palm-sized face was melted in the sunset, and her beautiful and delicate facial features were covered with a layer of soft halo, leaving only haze.

The sunset glow was beautiful, but his little girl was even more beautiful.

Adam's eyes now were full of love. However, when he caught sight of the mixed-race little boy beside Anthea, his expression froze.

The boy had blonde hair and blue eyes. Although he was still wearing a hospital gown, he looked much better than yesterday. He was following Anthea step by step out of the building.

After walking down the concrete steps, he waved goodbye to Anthea with a reluctant expression.

Then Anthea turned around and headed to the jeep.

The minute she got into the car, Adam frowned and asked, "What's the matter with Hank's youngest son?"

Anthea looked out of the window and found that the boy had already been taken back by the nurse. She smiled and said, "This hospital where I intern happens to be the place that he was hospitalized! When I was free in the afternoon, I went to visit him in the ward. He has recovered. You just saw that he has regained his vitality. He'll be discharged tomorrow morning!"

Last night, she proposed to visit the child the next day, but Adam refused directly, so she did not ask him again. She was also practicing in the emergency center of this hospital, so she took time to come over.

Adam was stunned.

He forgot about it!

"Have you been waiting for a long time?" Anthea hurriedly explained, "The nurse has something to do temporarily. I helped to look after the child for a while, so I was delayed!"

Hearing this, Adam was even more regretful. "You said you'd be late just to accompany Hank's youngest son?"

"Yes!" Anthea nodded.

Not noticing the change in his expression, she pulled out a red rose from her backpack and showed him with a smile. "Look, he gave this rose to me!"

The rose bloomed so well that each petal bloomed to the greatest extent.

Anthea thought that the little boy gave it to her in order to express his gratitude, so she proudly brought the rose closer to Adam and said, "Smell it. It's very fragrant!"

"Yes." Adam's thin lips pursed slightly.

He secretly gritted his teeth.

When he glanced at the rose again, he found it was just so unpleasant to look at!

He slowly started the car and drove onto the street at a constant speed.

The atmosphere was silent.

Anthea finally noticed that Adam seemed to be a little weird, as he did not saying anything after leaving the hospital and just kept his face straight ahead. "Adam, what's wrong with you? Is there anything that makes you unhappy?" She asked with concern.

"No." Adam said in a low voice.

"Are you sure?" Anthea was not convinced.

"Yes." Adam was helpless.

When they were driving past a crossroad, he suddenly stopped the car at the roadside.

Then he unbuckled his seat belt and told her, "Wait for me in the car."

Before Anthea could make a sound, he had already jumped out of the car. The tall and strong figure strode toward the opposite side of the road, leaving her in the car alone in confusion.

More than ten minutes later, the car door was suddenly opened.

Adam sat back in the driver's seat, grabbed the rose from Anthea's knees and threw it in the back seat.

Then, a large bouquet of red roses appeared in her arms unexpectedly.

The fragrance of flowers greeted Anthea's nose. She was stunned for a moment, but then she immediately reacted, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.

Lil Adam just became more and more childish!
