Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 1476

Time flew.

In the blink of an eye, it was the last day of the holiday. Crystal's internship was about to come to an end and she would go back to school tomorrow.

The doctors in the emergency department were bustling about every day, but she was still a student, so she could only do something basic, like taking care of the patients, and answer some basic medical questions.

When she went to the locker room to get changed in the evening, she met another intern, who was her schoolfellow.

This intern was in her fourth year in the college and her father was the principal. She had received Crystal on Crystal's first day at the school, and felt that Crystal was both beautiful and lively, and helped her a lot in school.

Crystal's internship in this hospital was actually arranged by her.

After a busy day, both of them were very tired.

This was just their internship. When they graduated from medical school and became real doctors, they would be more tired than now. But the more tired they were, the heavier the responsibility on their shoulders would be. Anthea had told Crystal more than once since she wanted to study medicine.

Being a doctor, she must have a sense of mission.

Crystal kept this in her mind all the time.

She hung the white coat neatly in the wardrobe and wondered what she would eat at night. There was a fried chicken shop near the school. She could order takeout from this shop.

As soon as she took out the phone, the intern came over and asked, "Have you heard that Kayden transferred to another school?"

Crystal liked her very much, so she had told her about breaking up with Kayden.

"Yes!" Crystal nodded.

Since that night in the pub, she had removed Kayden from her world.

"It seems that his family will send him abroad! I guess that he is too ashamed to stay in the school anymore! Although the news has been suppressed, walls have ears. He was sent to the police station for the crime of attempted rape. He has lost all his face!" The intern gossiped.

"Yeah!" Crystal was indifferent.

Since she broke up with him that night,

Kayden had tried to contact her again, but she directly put him in the blacklist.

The intern knew the reason why Crystal and Kayden broke up and was also very angry. She comforted Crystal, "Crystal, don't be discouraged! You will definitely meet a good man in the future!" Crystal felt that these words sounded familiar. Erik had said the same thing.

"I'm looking forward to that day!" She smiled.

After leaving the hospital, she took a taxi back to her apartment.

Just as she had expected, the fried chicken was delivered not long after she arrived home.

She couldn't cook, just like her mother. But fortunately, she could eat at the dining hall of the school, so she could only order takeaways during the holiday.

Although the fried chicken looked fine, it did not taste very good.

While she was gnawing on a chicken leg, she couldn't help thinking of the exquisite food Erik made for her that day.

It was so delicious that she just wanted to taste it again.

"I'm going to replace a boyfriend who could cook!" This idea suddenly appeared in her mind.

After dinner, she simply took a shower and went to bed.

At eleven o'clock, it was very dark outside.

Crystal remembered her promise at Erik's place. This time, she completely dried her hair, changed into her pajamas, closed the window, and then went to sleep. She turned off all the lights.

Just as she was drowsy, a sound came from the door.

It was very faint.

It sounded like someone was prying the door.

After realizing this, Crystal suddenly sat up in horror.

Her apartment was not big, so she could hear everything at the door clearly. At this time, there was indeed the sound of prying the door. Someone outside was going to sneak in. Crystal's hair stood up. After all, she was just a young girl and lived here alone. She freaked out.

But she forced herself to calm down.

At this time, it was useless to sit still and wait for death. She grabbed the lamp beside her and planned to launch an attack.

"Who is it?" she shouted.

The person prying the door seemed to be scared by her sudden voice and hurriedly ran away, so fast as if this person was well-trained.

After ascertaining that the person had left, Crystal spread out her hand, which was already covered in cold sweat.

She turned on the lights and tiptoed to the door. She found that the door lock had been pried open, and the dim light in the corridor poured in through the crack of the door. She called the police.

The police arrived very quickly and also called the property manager here. The property manager was surprised after hearing what Crystal said, because the public security here had always been very good and there had never been a thievery before. This was the first time he heard such a thing.

Crystal kept holding her own shoulders with both hands so that she would not tremble.

The police took notes for her, checked the lock, and said to her seriously, "Miss Chin, we have filed this case and we will investigate it. We are not sure whether it is a theft case or you have offended someone. There are many such malignant cases these days. The property manager will change the lock for you, but it's too late now. You'd better call your family!"

Crystal nodded her head in a daze.

Family?

Her parents were far away from here, so she couldn't call them. At this time, Erik was the only one she knew in Francis.

She did not hesitate and called him at once.

When Erik answered the phone, her voice sounded like she was about to cry.

Erik arrived in a very short time. His speed was even faster than the police.

He took off his coat and put it on Crystal's body.

After replaceing out the cause and effect, he held her shoulder, frowned and said, "Crystal, you can't live here tonight. Go to my place!" Crystal swallowed her saliva.

She looked at the door that was broken and knew that she would not be able to sleep tonight even after the lock was changed. "Okay." She agreed.

Erik packed some clothes for her and then took her to the car.

When Crystal got into his car, the air was filled with Erik's smell. Her tightened nerves gradually relaxed.

She curled up her hands, still feeling cold sweat.

At this moment, she was still unsure it was a thief or someone she had offended before.

But she was just a student. Besides study, she did internship in a hospital. She did not remember she had not offended anyone. It might be Kayde, but he had recently transferred to another university. Could it be that Kayde bore a grudge against her and wanted to take revenge on her? No matter what, he was arrested by the police for his attempted rape of her. And she had also broken up with him. Crystal grew more and more afraid.

She turned to look at Erik and scratched her head. "Eh, Erik, can I live with you?"
