Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1522
It was a child's voice...
Wilson was deeply touched by these naive and childish words.
He turned around and saw a little figure jump out from somewhere behind him with her hands crossed behind her back. Her little face was painted with the beautiful rosy color of the setting sunshine, while her two obsidian-like eyes were looking at him.
"Isla?" Wilson was surprised.
He felt delighted to see this cute little girl again.
He bent down slightly and asked, "Why are you here? Are you taking a stroll outside?"
Isla shook her head. "No! I'm here waiting for you!"
"Waiting for me?" Wilson was amazed.
Isla became shy and said in a childish voice, "Well... I've been here waiting for you for many days and finally I succeeded! I know that we are destined to meet!"
Wilson couldn't help laughing.
Isla looked at the car door he opened and asked, "Domineering CEO, are you leaving now?
"Yeah!" Wilson nodded.
Isla was a little disappointed.
She rolled her eyes and looked up asking him, "Can you do me a favor?"
"Hmm? What's the matter?" Wilson asked with a smile.
Isla said seriously, "My Mom's birthday is coming. I want to buy her a gift for her in the store with my own pocket money, but the nurse told me that beautiful girls are easy to be abducted by bad guys. I dare not leave the hospital alone. Can you go there with me?"
The four or five-year-old little girl in front of him was so clever and present that she always looked like a little adult.
However, she was just a child. It would still be very dangerous for her to go outside of the hospital alone. What if she met bad guys?
Under the expectant gaze of her black and round eyes, Wilson felt comfortable and moved. He couldn't say anything to refuse her.
As he was free now, and had nothing to do next, Wilson nodded and said, "Okay... I will go with you!"
Isla said sweetly, "Mr. CEO, you're so nice!"
She took the initiative to put her small hand into his palm.
her hand was chubby, with pink fingernails which were like little petals of begonias.
Wilson held her hand with a smile on his face. There were a lot of vehicles and people in and out of the hospital. He was worried that the little outgoing girl might be hit by a car if she was not accompanied by an adult. In that case, he would be unable to explain to Tina what had happened to her daughter.
Isla s face was flushed.
Under the setting sunshine, a man and a little girl walked out of the hospital.
Opposite to the private hospital, there was a pharmacy and a restaurant, as well as a few stores.
Wilson and Isla came to one of the stores. In addition to daily necessities, there were also some small crafts sold at the store. Isla looked up and chose carefully.
The mobile phone suddenly rang.
Wilson took out the phone and looked at the phone number. He frowned slightly and directly snapped it.
He looked up and asked patiently, "Isla, which one do you like?"
Isla nodded with a smile and pointed to a crystal ball on the shelf. "I choose this one! There is a little angel in it. Mother often says that I am her little angel. If I give it to her as a gift, she will like it!" "Okay." Wilson nodded with a smile.
It could be seen that Isla and her mother had a very good relationship. Without the father, it was really difficult for Tina to raise her daughter alone. She had taught her daughter so well all these years, but it had nothing to do with Wilson.
He helped Isla to take the crystal ball.
Isla followed him to the counter. Her little figure was reflected on the glass ornaments there. Isla leaned on the edge of the counter and asked, "Sir, how much is this?"
"One hundred sixty!" the boss replied.
Islas small face wrinkled in dismay.
She took out all the pocket money she had, piled them up, and counted them. Then, she looked up at the boss. "It's too expensive. I only have 100 Yuan! Dear boss, can you give me a discount? I can give you some good wishes: I wish you a prosperous business and good luck every day!""
The boss was amused by her loveliness. "Kid, your mouth is so sweet. I'll sell it to you for 80 Yuan. This is the cost price!"
"Thank you, boss!" Isla was overjoyed.
Wilson didn't interrupt their bargaining. Although he could pay for Isla, yet he didn't suggest it to her, as this gift was to serve as a token of gratitude from the little girl to her mother.
He smiled and said, "Help her to wrap it up!"
The boss wrapped the crystal ball up quickly and handed it to Wilson. "Sir, here you are! Your daughter is so cute!"
"Daughter?"
Wilson smiled and didn't explain much to the boss.
On the way back to the hospital, when he recalled the boss' words, he couldn't help shaking his head.
How could he have a daughter like Isla if he still hadn't got married? However, if he did have a daughter like her, his mother, Meadow Yamada, would be very happy.
Wilson halted his thoughts and looked aside. He saw that the little girl next to him was staring at the flower bed.
He asked, "Isla, what's wrong?"
Isla reached out her little hand. "The doctor told me that if my conditions continued to worsen, I would have to receive chemotherapy, and then all my hair would drop and I would become bald and ugly, wouldn't I?"
Wilson didn't know what disease Isla had, but as far as chemotherapy was involved, it must be serious.
He caressed her head and said, "No... Isla will be beautiful no matter what happens."
Isla asked shyly, "Really?"
"Uh-huh!" Wilson nodded.
Isla's eyes suddenly lit up like stars. She was as happy as she was celebrating the Spring Festival after being praised by Wilson.
But when she thought of something, her little face became a little gloomy. "Domineering CEO, do you think I will recover in the future?"
Wilson felt slightly bitter in his heart, yet he replied with certainty, "Of course, you will!"
Isla sighed slightly and said sadly, "I also hope that I can recover soon, so that my Mom won't have to spend a lot of money! And I'm a little afraid that someday I might be like Lily, the pretty girl next door. One day, Lily fell asleep and never woke up again... My Mom will cry!"
"..." Wilson felt as if his heart was grabbed by an invisible hand.
Before they knew it, Wilson and Isla had already returned to the hospital building.
Good times were always so short.
After entering the public space on the first floor, Isla shook Wilson's big hand, while her face was full of reluctance, "Uncle CEO, I'm going back..."
In the ward, Tina slowly opened her eyes.
There was not much sunlight left outside the window.
She sat up from the bed and looked at her watch. She then realized that she had slept for such a long time.
Tina looked around the room, but she didn't see her daughter. She quickly put on her shoes and walked out.
Tina searched for her everywhere in the Department of Pediatrics, but could not replace her anywhere. She went downstairs by elevator. When she got out of the elevator, she spotted her daughter's little figure in the distance. Isla was walking in her mother's direction. However, she occasionally looked back after two or three steps.
Tina frowned in confusion.
Looking in the direction behind her daughter, she found that there was nothing special but people entering and leaving the hospital entrance. Tina shouted, "Isla!"
Hearing her mother's voice, Isla immediately ran towards her. She threw herself into her mother's arms and said, "Mom, you have woken up!"
