Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1536
Tina's footsteps halted. The sudden appearance of these words in her view made her heart tremble.
The message was sent by Dylan Koo. Although his name was not saved in the phone, she could still recognize the phone number, as he was still using his phone number five years ago. He sent the message at 23:59:59 p.m..
What's more, "Happy birthday, Tina" had been used by Dylan for many years in the past.
Her feeling now was indescribable, and she was at a loss what to do next.
Her eyelashes drooped.
Her thoughts were so unconcentrated that she didn't even notice when the sound of running water in the bathroom stopped. Wilson walked behind her and asked, "What's up?
Tina was shocked and subconsciously grabbed her mobile phone tightly in her hand. "It's okay. Just a spam advertisement!"
Wilson nodded. He turned around and put on his trousers. Then, he fetched his leather belt and tied it to the trousers. His upper
body was naked under the morning sunlight.
Apart from his handsome face, Wilson was also very strong.
His wheat-colored skin was healthy, and his shoulders were wide. He could be described as muscular, but he didn't give others the impression that he was a brutal and bulky fellow. Tina would definitely feel shy when she saw Wilson's muscles as he was half-naked.
Today, however, she simply stared straight at him. Her eyes were fixed on his body, but landed nowhere.
Wilson frowned as he had noticed her change of mood.
Her distracted eye expressions reminded him of the night when she was also distracted while sleeping with him.
Wilson asked, "Tina, what are you thinking about?"
Tina shook her head. "Nothing..."
The eyes of Wilson narrowed behind the lens. He tried to see through her thoughts, as if using an X-ray machine to scene her body.
Tina felt that Wilson's eyes were so sharp that she would not be able to hide her thoughts properly if ever he kept on gazing at her.
Suddenly, she noticed a little reflection of light on the floor-based mirror near her.
The reflection of light came from her swallow-shaped earrings. She raised her hand and touched it, and then wittily changed the topic. "I think this pair of earrings is very beautiful. When did you buy it?" With a flattering tone, Tina succeeded in pleasing Wilson.
Putting on his shirt, he replied casually, "The last time I went on a business trip."
Tina was taken aback. "The business trip of last time? Didn't you go there with Mona Wong?"
Wilson raised his eyebrows and there was a hint of joy in his eyes. "Have you read the news report?"
"Yeah..." Tina nodded.
In fact, she didn't read the news report herself. She heard about it while her female colleagues were gossiping, something which was unavoidable in this world.
She looked up and found that Wilson was laughing at her happily.
Tina couldn't understand. "What's there to laugh about?"
After entering the house last night, she was to some extent forced to sleep with him until the second half of the night. She was completely exhausted after. When she woke up this morning, she was so hungry that her stomach was growling.
As Wilson was still in her house, Tina dared not to eat her breakfast alone. She asked obsequiously, "Mr. Chin, there is still half a bag of quick-freezing dumplings I bought before in the refrigerator. Do you want to eat them as breakfast? I'll cook some."
"Okay." Wilson nodded.
Hearing what she said, he immediately felt hungry. He caressed his stomach with his hands.
After a pause, the corners of his lips curled slightly and he looked at her with a mischievous look. "Have you got vinegar?"
Tina became speechless.
Quick-freezing dumplings were generally boiled directly with soup. Usually, only dumplings that were steamed would be mixed with vinegar. She felt that Wilson's taste was too unique.
Tina was still thinking so as she entered the kitchen. When she put the dumplings into the pot, she suddenly realized what he meant.
Did he mean that she was jealous of Mona Wong?
Tina's lips twitched twice. In their society, something with a sour taste, such as lemon or vinegar, was often used to refer to jealousy. Tina thought she was jealous of Mona at all...
After eating the dumplings, Wilson received a phone call from Terry, who said that he was already waiting downstairs.
Tina looked out of the window and saw that the Rolls-Royce was parked in front of the flower bed. Such a luxury car was really out of tune with the old residential community.
She picked up the handbag on the sofa and was about to walk to the hallway. Then, she noticed that Wilson was standing in front of the small bookshelf in the living room. He asked with a frown, "Where did you get this crystal ball?"
Tina looked over there.
It was the birthday gift from Isla. A short while ago, when she was tidying up the clothes that were thrown to the ground last night by Wilson, she took the crystal ball out from her bag and put it in the partition of the bookshelf.
"It's my dau..." Tina suddenly realized that she had almost made a mistake, and therefore she changed her words in time. "Oh... The crystal ball? I bought it from the store. It looks very interesting. I just want to put it at home as a decoration!"
Wilson nodded as he heard that.
His gaze rested on the little angel inside the crystal ball, and he was reflecting upon
something.
Not long ago, he met the cute little girl again in the hospital. He accompanied her to buy a birthday gift for her mother in the store. If he had remembered it correctly, it was the same crystal ball.
However, this kind of crystal ball was sold everywhere. For this reason, it was normal for him to see a completely similar crystal ball.
Wilson looked away and snorted at Tina casually. "You're just like a kid!"
Tina was speechless. "Isn't this a gift from a kid?" She thought.
In the afternoon, in a building of the TV station...
While Tina was proofreading a news release, the mobile phone on her desk vibrated.
She subconsciously reached out to pick it up, but when she saw the number on the screen, she halted. Two seconds later, the phone was put back.
But the phone screen was still on.
Bonnie happened to pass by with some duplicated documents in her arms and asked, "Tina, why don't you answer the phone?"
"Hmm..." Tina replied vaguely.
Bonnie said, "The caller has called in twice.
Why don't pick up the phone?"
Tina's fingers hesitated at the edge of the phone.
When the caller called in for the third time, she gritted her teeth and picked up the phone, "Hello?"
Dylan's indifferent voice sounded. "I'm Dylan."
"I know..." Tina pursed her lips and asked, "What's up?"
"My Dad wishes that you can visit us and have dinner at out home tonight!" Dylan said, "Although you took the initiative to sever your relationship with the Koo family five years ago, my Dad treated you like a real daughter before that. He is still missing you very much. He wants to see you again!"
Tina lowered her voice. "I've been rather busy lately..."
Dylan paused and said, "My Dad hasn't been in good health these days. He always coughs at night. He has told me many times that he wanted you to have dinner at our home someday! Don't forget that he used to be so nice to you. He hasn't seen you for five years. Don't you want to see him again?"
"I'm sorry to hear that. I wish that Uncle Koo will recover soon... How's he now?" Tina asked hurriedly.
"Uh-huh." Dylan answered in a cold tone, "If you don't want to go to our home again, just forget about all of us. Dad will be sad, but he will accept the reality!"
Tina clenched her fists. "I'll go..."
Dylan said, "I'll pick you up after work!" "Don't bother. I can take a taxi myself!" "Six o'clock. I'll be waiting for you at the gate of the TV station!"

Tina sighed helplessly as she looked at the phone that had been hung up by Dylan.
The sunset glows were splendid and beautiful.
A low-key but luxury Rolls-Royce slowly stopped in front of the TV station.
