Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1606
The next evening.
It was supposed to be a day of rest, without work arrangements. However, Bonnie called Tina urgently.
Bonnie originally had an interview to be used next week, but some of the contents couldn't be didclosed, because of some temporary situations. She could only work overtime to re-interview and ask Tina for help at the last minute.
Tina would definitely help her.
They spent a whole afternoon and finally finished.
The sun was setting in the west.
Tina and Bonnie had been busy the whole afternoon, and their stomachs had already been empty.
The content of the interview was related to how to start a business. The interviewees were all young boys and girls, very young and energetic.
After that, they invited Tina and Bonnie to the dinner very enthusiastically. They felt very sorry in their hearts because they made them work twice, and insisted on treating them to dinner. Their hospitality was so hard to decline.
Unexpectedly, after a simple meal, they organized entertainment.
Tina and Bonnie were dragged over again.
Both of them were helpless. They quietly discussed that they would sit for a while, and then replace an excuse to leave.
When the evening lights were on, they arrived at an entertainment club.
The decoration of the club was not luxurious, and the price was very affordable, so it had always been very popular.
Before entering, Tina went to the bathroom.
When she came out, she stopped slightly.
In a long corridor at the corner in front of them, a slim figure walked by, wearing a cap and a mask. Tina could recognize that it was Mona even though she was dressed differently.
She was somewhat stunned.
It seemed that every time Mona appeared in private, she wore a pair of big sunglasses, which made her face even smaller and showed her star temperament.
Now it was so abnormal.
Tina felt very baffled. After all, Mona was a superstar and almost everyone knew her. She should choose a more private place.
And why did she come to such ordinary entertainment club without any bodyguards? Isn't she afraid of being recognized by her fans? Tina did not understand.
She shook her head and returned to the room.
On the other side, Mona and her agent also came to a relatively remote box at this time. Only the two of them were there.
The music was stopped. It was weirdly quiet, as if there was a big plot.
After entering the room, Mona took off her mask, revealing her beautiful face, but her eyes were full of coldness, which could make people shudder.
Mya asked hesitantly, "Mona, are you sure you want to do this?"
Mona's eyes were suddenly filled with viciousness. "Nonsense!"
She had been waiting for an opportunity for so long that she had sent people to keep an eye on Tina's whereabouts. Now that she had finally obtained such an opportunity, how could she let it go so easily! She would never let go of Tina!
Mya only felt the chill in an instant. It poured down from her head and almost drowned her.
She opened her mouth and wanted to persuade Mona, but when she thought of the slap before, her cheeks were still slightly painful. She didn't dare to say anything more.
Mona urged, "What are you waiting for?" Mya swallowed her pride and replied, "Yes."
She left the room and called a waiter furtively.
The atmosphere in Tina's private room was lively and joyful.
Bonnie leaned close to Tina's ear and said with a smile, "It's so good to be young. I'm almost infected by their vitality! Tina, let's sing a song so as not to demoralize them. Then we'll replace an excuse to leave one by one!"
"Okay!" Tina nodded.
It was Tina's turn. She sang a song gracefully.
When she came back, Bonnie replaced her and clinked glasses with her.
Tina held the glass of green tea in her hand. The liquid was as transparent as crystal under the blue-green light.
She didn't drink at once.
Five years ago, she drank the glass of water handed over by Lilith, which caused the devastating accident and the following nightmare. Now when she was outside, she was always more cautious about the things she drank.
Especially on an occasion like this, she had once left her seat.
Tina wasn't thinking too much of others. She was just on her guard.
Suddenly, she felt that someone was looking at her.
Tina looked over and saw a waiter standing of the round table on the other side. He was putting fresh fruit plates on the table one by one.
He kept staring at her during the process.
Noticing her gaze, the waiter seemed to be frightened and quickly withdrew.
It seemed that he just took a casual look and continued to do his job as if nothing had happened, but his body was faintly stiff.
Tina was puzzled.
She lowered her head and slightly moved her wrist to appreciate the changing color of the liquid under the light.
To her surprise, she accidentally found some unclear white sediments at the bottom of the glass.
A sense of vigilance arose in Tina's heart.
Looking through the corner of her eyes, the waiter seemed to be secretly staring at her.
Tina did not look over this time. Instead, she placed her cup on the table.
Something flashed through her mind. She hesitated for a moment, then picked up the glass again.
Tina raised her head and took a huge gulp.
She seemed to see the waiter let out a sigh of relief.
After the waiter left with the empty tray, Tina turned her face and spat the liquid in her mouth on the handkerchief she took out from the bag.
The music gradually faded, and Bonnie's song ended.
Bonnie returned to her seat. They looked at each other, discussing when to leave.
At this time, the door of the box was pushed open.
The waiter came in again, not to deliver wine or fruit, but walked to Tina.
After nodding, he smiled and said politely, "Miss Hall, can I have some minutes from you? I have something to tell you!"
Tina raised her eyebrows.
What trick was he playing?
She thought for two seconds and nodded.
"Well, please wait outside!"
The waiter nodded, turned around, and walked out.
Tina's gaze swept across the glass before she whispered something into Bonnie's ear.
At first, Bonnie felt confused when she saw the waiter. She didn't know what he had to do with Tina. Now, she was more confused after hearing what she said.
Tina paused and whispered, "Bonnie, if I don't come back in ten minutes, remember to call the police for me!"
Bonnie was shocked and widened her eyes.
"Call the police?"
Tina smiled and said nothing more. She stood up and walked out.
The waiter waited for her at the door. When he saw Tina come out, he smiled and conveyed a message, "Miss Hall, President Chin is waiting for you upstairs!"
