Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1615
The Rolls-Royce was running steadily.
Wilson held the newspaper with both hands and looked focused, as if he was reading some important news.
The car stopped at a red signal light, and then it started again when the light turned green.
Tina noticed that he kept the same posture and didn't turn the newspaper to another page.
She was a little confused and could not help but look sideways.
The whole page of the newspaper was about the engagement between Dylan and Selene.
Tina understood.
Her mouth twitched slightly.
This was his real intention.
Seeing her eyes fall on the newspaper, Wilson closed the newspaper and said slowly, "The engagement banquet is on this Sunday!"
"Yes!" Tina nodded.
She had already known it.
Wilson asked her, "What do you think after
learning the news?"
Tina avoided his trap and shook her head in a gentle way. "I don't have any idea!"
Wilson raised his lips, and looked happy. He was very satisfied with her flattering answer.
He stroked her small earlobe, muttering doting words, "Well, good girl!"
The corners of Tina's mouth twitched once more.
Tina thought that she wouldn't hear about the engagement anymore.
However, to her surprise, she received something related to the engagement the next day.
It was naturally busy last night.
After waking up, Tina came to the hospital to accompany Isla. After lunch, she was about to take a nap.
Before she felt sleepy, Isla ran to her, shook her hand and said, "Mom, you have a parcel!"
Tina was taken aback.
Then she remembered that an hour ago, she had received a phone call from the courier. There was a parcel for her.
Because she was not on the TV station, so the courier asked about her location.
Tina was completely befuddled. How, she told him to come to the hospital.
She quickly sat up.
The courier came in and asked her to sign.
Tina was curious and couldn't remember what she had bought on the Internet recently. After opening it, she found an invitation.
The invitation looked very romantic and gorgeous. It was for Dylan and Selene's engagement party.
Tina was stunned.
The invitation was sent by Selene. The words on it were written by herself and there was a signature below.
Tina did not understand.
She began to recall her previous encounters with Selene.
They just ate together, and there was almost no direct communication between them. She was more like a vase during the whole process.
When Selene found out about Tina's identity, she no longer paid any attention to her. It could be said that in Selene's eyes, Tina was an insignificant person.
She was Wilson's lover.
It meaned that she was at Wilson's beck and call.
However, Selene had sent her an invitation.
It was really incredible.
Tina couldn't figure out why.
Was it simply because of the grandness of the engagement banquet? The more participants, the better?
Tina's lips curled up.
She did not intend to attend the banquet, so she randomly stuffed the invitation into her bag.
One day of the warm time between Tina and Isla.
During dinner time, Tina received another express.
This time, it was a dress.
There was a card, telling that it was from the same person who had sent the invitation.
Although the design was not that amazing, from the packaging of the box, Tina knew that it was from a famous brand, and the price should not be cheap.
Selene was the main character of the banquet, so she didn't want others to steal her spotlight. However, if she sent a skirt over casually, it would be too embarrassing.
Tina frowned.
She looked at the dress and the card in her hand.
Selene first sent an invitation letter, then a dress. She was particularly enthusiastic and emphasized in every sentence that Tina must show up, as if she didn't want to give her a chance to refuse. Tina felt as though she was being pushed behind.
At ten o'clock in the evening, after coaxing Isla to sleep, Tina came to the No.I Mansion.
There was no light in the room.
Wilson didn't seem to come back yet. Tina turned on the lights, changed her shoes and walked into the bedroom.
It was different from the apartment she rented. The bedroom was very spacious and bright with the beautiful decoration. It seemed to be in the style of Wilson.
After washing up, Tina obediently crawled into the bed and waited for Wilson.
Time flied slowly.
Tina browsed the news for a while and watched some videos. She gradually felt sleepy. Outside the window it was already very dark.
She tried to call Wilson.
No one answered the phone.
After two minutes, a text message came in with only a few words. Wilson said he was at dinner party.
When Tina read this, she sensibly put the phone aside and dared not disturb him anymore.
She never dared to sleep before Wilson came back.
But it seemed that she had been waiting for too long, and she was bothered by the engagement banquet during the day. Her eyes kept twitching, and finally, she fell asleep boldly.
In her sleep, she felt the quilt lifted.
Someone hugged her from behind.
His muscular pectoral muscles could even be sensed.
His thin lips fell on her ears, very light and coy, spreading to her cheeks and lips.
Later, she was held in arms like a doll.
She slept soundly.
Tina opened her eyes. The morning light seeped through the gauze, and there was a circle of light flashing on the floor.
She moved a bit.
Feeling the burning breath behind her neck, she asked subconsciously, "What time is it?"
Someone replied, "It is 8:05."
Tina mumbled. It didn't matter if she got up late on Sunday.
The next second, she jerked her head back.
When Tina saw Wilson's handsome face behind her clearly, she was stunned.
She fell asleep while she was waiting last night and didn't know when he came back. Then she quickly realized that it was not a dream last night.
Wilson actually woke up early. After saying "Good moring" to her, he got up and walked into the bathroom lazily.
Tina blinked her eyes. She was still in a trance.
Until the sound of water in the bathroom stopped, Wilson came out with a bath towel around his body. Her naked chest was exposed in the morning light, and the muscles were intertwined. Tina's brain was completely clear.
She stared blankly at the man who had finished wiping his hair with a towel and picked up his shirt.
He slept with her in his arms again, but he didn't even flirt with her after she woke up.
They slept in the same bed and woke up in the morning light.
They were more like...
She could not think about it anymore.
Tina stopped herself just in time.
But her thoughts were completely out of control like wild horses.
Wilson's voice interrupted her. He buttoned his cuffs and asked her with slanted eyes, "Will you go to the engagement banquet?"
