Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1721
For so many years, Bill had been keeping this relationship deep in his heart. Only when he was alone, he would open the album to recall the past. He just wanted to know how she was doing. However, his lover was long gone.
After a long while, Bill's stiff mouth twitched. "Miss Hall, where is she buried? Can you take me to see her? Please!" he said slowly.
Tina did not expect such a huge reaction from him.
Facing such earnest eyes, she couldn't refuse. "Okay! But please wait for a moment. I have to tell my colleague and ask her to help me ask for a leave!"
After Tina finished speaking, she called Bonnie.
Although Bill did not bring his secretary, he had a driver by his side. Tina followed him into the commercial vehicle.
The car passed through the street and headed for the cemetery on the outskirts of the city.
After Tina told the address of the cemetery, Bill asked the driver to stop the car halfway.
He told Tina to wait for a moment and ran into a flower shop on the roadside.
When he came out, there was a bunch of flowers in his hand.
Tina's gaze fell on the white petals as she pursed her lips.
It was a bundle of white magnolia.
Usually, people would buy chrysanthemums or lilies when they went to the graves, and seldom would people bring such a bouquet. Moreover, white magnolia was a kind of garden-style plant, which was rarely seen in flower shops. But Bill was familiar with it. It seemed that he would often come to buy it.
Moreover, it was her mother's favorite flower in her life.
Her mother told Tina that white magnolia had a long flowering period, so it represented eternal love.
Tina looked away silently.
After driving for an hour and a half, the car arrived at a cemetery.
Footsteps stopped in front of a certain tombstone.
When he saw the photo clearly, Bill's figure shook violently.
Fortunately, Tina was standing beside him. She held him up in time, so he didn't fall.
She saw that Bill's eyes were hazy and he was very sad.
Feeling his sadness for her mother's death, Tina comforted, "Mr. Amery, thank you for visiting my mother! She has been in poor health since she gave birth to me. She was always sick. Fortunately, she was no painful when she passed away. She didn't suffer too much!"
"Yes!" Bill nodded.
Something was about to flow out of his eyes. He closed his eyes.
After they broke up that year, he had been in pain for a long time. Ovia was proud, so was Bill.
He was a proud young man in his twenties that year, but he was dumped by his beloved woman without mercy. He was very shocked and very angry. Even so, he had thought of saving it.
At that time, they were too young. Bill had always thought that there was still room for turning the situation around.
But half a year later, when he turned back and found Ovia again, Ovia had already had a new boyfriend and was ready to get married. She was pregnant and her belly was slightly bulging. Bill left in dismay.
In the end, he had no choice but to accept the fact and followed his family's arrangements to marry a notable young lady. He seemed to be afraid that he would be immersed in pain again, so he soon moved to a foreign country after marriage.
Since then, he had never heard anything about Ovia.
Bill thought of the man who stayed with Ovia and asked in a hoarse voice, "Then your father..."
Tina shook her head gently. "I've never seen my father. My mother said that he passed away in an accident when I was very young!"
Bill said apologetically, "Sorry, Miss Hall!"
"It's alright!" Tina said with a smile.
No blame attached to the unconscious doer of wrong. Furthermore, she only had memories about her mother.
However, Tina hesitated.
She wanted to say that her mother had not actually been married...
It was just that this sort of matter, to a certain extent, would inevitably stir up gossip. There was also no need for her to tell others.
When they left the cemetery, Bill calmed down a lot.
He asked Tina with a pleading tone, "Miss Hall, can I visit your mother often in the future?"
Tina nodded. "Sure!"
It was a very grateful thing that the deceased could be visited.
There was no need for her to stop.
Bill paused for a moment and said, "Miss Hall, I don't want to hide it from you. I said before that your mother was an old friend of mine. In fact, there was an unforgettable love between us, but we were too young at that time and didn't make it to the end!"
Tina was not surprised to hear that.
She had already guessed it.
When she saw the white magnolia, she had already guessed the relationship between him and her mother.
She respected their relationship very much. After all, they were willing to love each other and did not destroy anyone's marriage. It was a normal free love when they were young.
Bill said, "If you need any help in the future, you can come to me!"
Tina nodded politely. "Okay, thank you!"
The driver drove to the entrance of the cemetery and they got in the car one by one.
On the way back, there was a traffic jam. In the distance, only a trace of sunset glow remained in the sky.
Compared to the time when they came, the atmosphere inside the car was very quiet now. Bill did not speak again. It was as if he had been trying hard to digest some emotions, and his hands on his knees were clenched into fists.
There was a touch of sadness in the air.
Tina felt warmth in her heart when she thought of how her mother could still be so concerned about.
Her phone suddenly vibrated, interrupting her thoughts.
Tina didn't look at it. She took it out and put it beside her ear. "Hello?"
Wilson's anxious voice came from the line. "Tina, how dare you stand me up?"
Tina smacked her forehead.
She forgot the agreement with Wilson.
Bill's visit was too sudden and about her mother, so she forgot other matters for the time being.
Tina quickly said, "Sorry, I forgot! I had something to do temporarily. I'm on my way home..."
The driver stopped the commercial vehicle in front of the residential building.
Bill got out of the car with her. He also heard the previous call in the car. He said very apologetically, "Miss Hall, I'm sorry for disturbing you today. Does it delay your work?"
"It doesn't matter!" Tina waved her hand.
Bill nodded. "Then I'll go back first!"
Tina nodded. "Goodbye, Mr. Amery!"
After watching the commercial vehicle leave the neighborhood, Tina slowly withdrew her gaze.
When she turned around, she was shocked by the sudden horn sound.
A black Rolls-Royce parked in front of the building.
Tina saw it and immediately walked over quickly. She opened the rear door and saw Wilson, in a suit, sitting with his long legs crossed. He wore a pair of glasses on his nose. He looked gentle and elegant, but his face was unpleasant.
When she sat in, she heard Wilson's gloomy question. "Tina, did you cheat on me?"
Tina burst into laughter.
