Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1776
As time went by, the sunshine outside was gradually fading away.
After talking to Wilson on the phone, Tina had been sitting on the sofa in the studio, waiting.
She put her knees together, clasping her hands on his knees, and looked at the elevator.
Susan was in front of her desk, immersed in thought. However, after a long time, she couldn't figure out a better way and felt utterly exhausted from anxiety. She looked up at Tina.
She overheard the conversation between Tina and Wilson and asked uncertainly, "Tina, are you really going to design another set?"
Tina nodded. "Well, I want to have a try!"
She was looking forward to this fashion show.
It was a chance for her to show her design ability and for the studio to develop, which she felt responsible for. If she quit, it would be an eternal regret in her heart.
If there was a possibility, Tina would hold on to it.
Susan was that optimistic and said with a sigh, "I wonder if Wilson can persuade Mr. Willard to cooperate..."
Before she could finish his words, Tina suddenly shot up from the sofa.
Susan looked up and saw a tall figure in a black suit striding out of the elevator.
With his two long legs, Wilson walked very fast.
Terry, following after, was left a few steps behind him.
They met at the door.
When Wilson saw her, he smiled pleasantly.
He turned around, took over all the things in Terry's hands, and then said to her, "Tina, these are several award-winning works from Master Willard. He agreed to cooperate and has authorized you to make use of these paintings!"
He carried several long round black-leather tubes, which seemed to be cases to store valuable paintings.
With caution, Tina opened one long tube. As expected, there was a painting inside, which was very precious. Her eyes were bright as twinkling stars.
Tina looked at him with surprise and excitement. "Oh, it's real! Wilson, you are omnipotent!"
Wilson's smile more delightedly.
His heart skipped a beat when he saw she looked at him with joy and admiration.
Wilson couldn't help bending over, his kiss landing on the corner of her mouth.
Susan was speechless.
How could they act so intimately as if she were not there?!
However, Terry looked calm. It seemed that he had long gotten used to it.
Tina, flushing to the ears, pushed him away a little and asked him in surprise, "How did you manage to persuade him? He had resolutely refused us!"
Wilson said languidly, "I've known him for more than 20 years. I learned calligraphy from him when I was very young! Therefore, it's easier for me to ask him for help. He gave me these paintings. If you encounter any trouble in the future, come to me first, okay?"
"Yes!" Tina's eyes beamed with joy.
With those valuable paintings in her arms, she regained her hope.
Wilson raised his hand to touch her face. "Now, with Master Willard's paintings, are you sure you can make it in such a few days?"
Tina said, her eyes with determination. "Well, I believe I can!"
After a pause, she continued, "However, I have to seize all the available time now, so I guess I have to work overtime in the studio tonight, and I don't know when it will end. Wilson, you should go back early. Remember to tell Isla in the hospital about it!"
Wilson said, "Okay!"
It was a matter of great urgency. Tina had to race against time.
"Then I'll start working!" After that, she ran into the office with the paintings in her arms.
Susan left the office to her.
To create a quiet environment without distractions, she didn't allow any others in the studio to approach her working place.
Tina pulled out a chair and sat in front of the writing desk.
She carefully opened Master Willard's paintings.
Wilson visited him in person and got his approval. Moreover, Mr. Willard seemed to be very sincere to him - he gave Wilson his well-known paintings.
When Tina was trying to replace some inspiration for her works to join the shows, she studied all the master's works. Nevertheless, she was still looking at these masterpieces with rapt attention. After pondering for a long time, she sat upright with her back straight.
As soon as she picked up the pen, she started drawing fluently as if she had gained some magical power from somewhere.
Tina dedicated herself to her work.
Outside, the cool moonlight had placed the rays of the setting sun long ago while Tina was still busy drawing.
Tina shifted her eyes from the piles of paper again. The light above was on, though the bright sunshine from outside had already spread to every corner of the room.
The bright sun shone on her, gilding her with its golden beams.
Tina turned her sore and stiff neck.
The corners of her mouth curled up, and inside her pupils, rays of golden light swam.
She did it.
Tina stood up and walked to the table next to her. Last night, Susan stayed up late to discuss with her. Now, she was sleeping on a desk with two empty boxes of instant noodles before her. It seemed that she couldn't hold on any longer and fell asleep.
She called out softly, "Susan, Susan?"
Susan tidied her messy short hair and asked in confusion, "Hey, what time is it?"
Tina looked at her watch and replied with a smile, "It will be half past ten in two minutes!"
Susan gradually returned to reality from her dream. Looking at the smiling Tina in front of her, she reacted slowly. Finally, she asked in surprise, "Wow! Have you finished your costume designs?"
Tina nodded with a proud smile. "Well, I've finished all of them and checked them again in the end. You can check them one more time!"
Hearing that, Susan ran over in a hurry.
When she saw the dazzling designs on the table, her eyes widened in shock. "Oh my god! You've completed the set. Amazing! I knew it! You're a born designer!"
Once again, she went through all the designs and thought it was unbelievable.
Tina had completed an almost impossible task.
Even she, who had entered the fashion industry earlier than Tina, couldn't do it.
Susan couldn't hold back her excitement. "Tina, your design this time is even better than the previous one. I can assure you that your works will impress all in the fashion show tomorrow! Oh, I have to hurry up and finish the follow-up work quickly..."
After that, she rushed out of the office.
Tina's face was also filled with joy.
She also walked out of the office. There was a mirror on the wall outside. When she passed it, she saw her face in it.
After the sleepless night, she looked exhausted with dark circles under her eyes.
However, despite the dark circles, her eyes were bright.
In the morning, all the staff of the studio came to work. They were working in their cubicles before, all busy with their work.
At this time, Tina really wanted to share the good news with Wilson.
She stepped out of the office but suddenly stopped.
On the round sofa in the leisure area outside, a man in a black suit was sitting on it, his tall figure outstanding.
He supported his face with one arm, his facial features well-defined. His eyes behind the silver-rimmed glasses were closed. His face was covered with the stubble of one night.
