Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1862
Tina went out of the office building and got into the car.
After the door closed, Terry went back to the driver's seat and started the car.
The sun shining from outside fell on Tina's eyes and brows. Her face was full of smiles.
Seeing this, Wilson also smiled. "You're in a good mood."
Tina nodded and smiled more broadly. "Yes, I'm very happy."
When she grinned, showing her teeth, she looked a lot like Isla. For a moment, the car was filled with happiness.
Wilson's eyes were fixed on her delicate lips.
He could no longer restrain the surge of love and desire for her and leaned over to pinch her chin.
From the rearview mirror, Terry saw the romantic and beautiful scene of them kissing each other in the back seats, again. Nevertheless, he was so used to such scenes that he remained perfectly calm.
The Rolls-Royce stopped at the entrance of the kindergarten.
At this time, no child was walking out. It was not the time for them to go home. Thus, they still needed to wait a little longer.
When the time came, Tina and Wilson got out of the car.
As soon as Wilson stood firm, his cell phone rang. It seemed to be a business call. He turned slightly and picked it up with one hand, putting the other hand on his waist. Then, he began to talk in a sonorous voice.
Terry in the car followed them out of the car and moved to Tina's side. "Ahem, Miss Hall..."
Terry, dressed in a professional suit and leather shoes, always did things in an orderly manner, but at this time, he looked different from his usual look - he was a little embarrassed and unnatural. Tina looked confused. "What's wrong?"
Terry cleared his throat and whispered to her, "I want to ask you something. You and Susan are partners that are very familiar with each other. Does she one of the women who hate marriage? Also, does she have many ex-boyfriends? Is she a... She likes men, right?"
Surprised, Tina blinked her eyes. "Ah? Susan?!"
His handsome face went scarlet with embarrassment. After mumbling for a long time, he finally managed to say, "She said she liked me and wanted me to be her boyfriend..."
Tina nearly choked upon hearing this. "Oh, uh-uhm, er..."
Susan had mentioned Terry and seemed to have a crush on him, a man with a pretty face and a well-built body. Also, she talked about falling in love with a man younger than her, but Tina didn't take it seriously thinking that she was just joking...
She didn't expect that she would chase after Terry!
When Tina tried hard to digest the news, the kindergarten ended. Isla, with a small Micky school bag on her back, ran toward her, hand in hand with her teacher. "Mom..."
She stopped her conversation with Terry and walked forward to greet her with a smile.
Wilson also ended the call. After saying goodbye to her teacher, she rushed into the warm and open arms of her mom and dad.
With her inside, the car was full of joy.
Tonight, they were going to have dinner outside. On the way, Isla told them in a childish voice that she got the highest votes in the children's song competition. So, in the class tomorrow, she would perform it again to all the children in the kindergarten.
In the end, she suddenly remembered something, her big, sparkling eyes turning to Tina. "By the way, mom, I'll visit my grandfather's house tomorrow!"
Tina was stunned. "What?"
"Go visit my grandfather's house!" Isla raised her little face and repeated, "When I was in the hot spring resort, he told me a story before I went to bed. Then he invited me. He said he wanted to introduce me to my great-grandfather. Hehe, I promised him!"
In the end, she hinted with courage that there was no way to change it.
Hearing this, Tina was stunned. It had never occurred to her that Isla would have made such an agreement with Bill in private!
She frowned slightly.
After hearing this, Wilson spread out his hands and said, "Then, I must say we can't let Isla break her promise!"
Isla nodded seriously. "Yes!"
Tina looked hesitant.
In the end, she sighed and nodded helplessly.
The next evening, the black car drove slowly to the villa of the Amery family.
Wilson had hired a driver for his family. When he and Tina were busy, the driver would pick up Isla with the maid.
Wilson received a lot of phone calls about work yesterday. A vital client had arrived from abroad. To show his respect, Wilson had to receive him personally. At this time, he and Terry had already gone to the airport.
Tina looked at the three-story detached villa, pursing her lips.
At first, she thought that she would not come here again after she left. However, she did not expect that she would be here again.
Isla was smart and good at observing Tina's expressions. Seeing her eyebrows raise, she asked with innocence, "Mom, did I do something"
Tina looked into her big watery eyes. From her pair of clear and pure eyes, she saw herself.
With a gentle smile, she patted her little head. "No. How could I be made with such a cute little girl?"
Isla smirked embarrassedly and held her hand. "Then let's go down. I saw grandpa coming out to welcome us."
Hearing this, Tina looked up at the outside of the car.
In the yard of the villa, Bill, like the last time, was already standing there in a cashmere coat.
Isla said proudly, "Grandpa, I'm here. I kept my promise!"
"Great!" Bill was full of smiles.
Isla looked at the villa behind him and cried out childishly, "Grandpa, is this your home? It's so beautiful!"
Bill was half squatting and looked at her with loving eyes. "May I take you to take a tour? I've asked the servants to prepare many desserts and snacks, and I also told the cook to make a nice meal for you. You can taste the tasty dishes that you've talked about!"
"Okay!" Isla nodded with a smile.
Bill took the initiative to pick her up. Before entering the villa, he paused slightly and looked at Tina. "My mom won't show up later..."
Tina nodded.
Bill was fully aware of his mother's grumpy temperament.
Most of the time, he couldn't do anything to stop her.
Considering the unpleasant experience at their last gathering, he was afraid that the same awkward situation would happen if his mom was also here. He discussed with his father and decided to avoid her in case anything unpleasant happened.
Bill looked at Tina and explained with a worried look in her eyes, "Don't mind. When she was young, she was also bad- tempered. She has always been difficult to get along with. When your mother came to my family, she often made things difficult for her and deliberately put her to a lot of trouble, though she failed every time!"
With this, Bill couldn't help smiling.
Old Madam Amery used to be picky to Ovia and had given her some hard time. However, each time, Ovia managed to solve the problems by clever maneuvers. She had never suffered any losses. Instead, Old Madam Amery was well pissed off at her,
Perhaps it was also because of this that Old Madam Amery had never liked Ovia.
Hearing this, Tina smiled faintly. "Don't worry. I know how to handle this!"
Bill nodded with relief.
