Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1898
That evening, Tina came to the Amery Family again.
There were exquisite dishes on the table, but no one had the appetite. They hardly ate, and the atmosphere was very tense.
Old Madam Amery and Bill Amery were the main reason.
Old Madam Amery was very annoyed and did not agree with her son's way of keeping Tina out of the affair. She insisted on visiting Tina in person, but was stopped by Bill.
They never reached agreement on this event.
Old Master Amery's face wrinkled, and he was very unhappy with his wife's pestering. "It's enough. You don't have to get involved anymore. Listen to Bill!"
Old Madam Amery was at a loss.
She turned her face aside and muttered in a strange tone, "How shall we respond to the Stark family? How will the crisis of the Amery's Group be resolved? Don't you think about this? Since she has been recognized by the Amery family, what's wrong with letting her make some sacrifices for the family..."
"I agree to the marriage."
Tina's voice sounded faintly at the entrance of the dinning hall.
A maid followed beside her. She didn't dare to report Tina's arrival because her masters were quarreling.
Old Madam Amery was stunned. "Do you really agree?"
"Yes!" Tina nodded.
Old Madam Amery then was a little satisfied. She snorted and said, "You know what to do!"
Bill stood up from the chair, pulled her, and said, "No, there is no room for negotiation. Tina, come with me to the study!"
The door of the study was closed.
Bill stood in front of the desk with a particularly serious look. "Tina, I pretended that I didn't hear what you said downstairs. You don't have to worry about Old Madam's ideas. Even if the Amery's Group goes bankrupt and the Amery Family declines, I won't joke with your lifelong happiness!"
Although he knew that Tina and Wilson had broken up, he knew that they had deep feelings for each other that was impossible for them to be easily dismissed.
Bill could not kidnap Tina morally to ask her to marry another man.
"Dad!" Tina called him softly.
With some tenderness and seriousness, she said, "From the moment I called you dad, I regarded you, teacher, and grandfather as my family! Since I am a member of the Amery Family, I have to make contribution!"
Bill still opposed, "That won't do. Tina, this is your lifelong happiness and your whole life!"
Tina smiled.
She stepped forward and told him her thoughts and plans.
Hearing this, Bill did not object anymore. He frowned and sighed in a low voice. "But even so... I still feel it not right to put you through all these!"
Tina shook her head with a smile.
The next day, the news hotspots were still about the Amery family.
One was that Chairman Amery had personally responded to the rumor of his illegitimate daughter. He stated clearly that the Amery family had found their own blood and return Tina to their ancestral roots. The other was to officially announce the marriage alliance with the Stark family.
Four months later.
Not long after the May holiday, the temperature rose very quickly.
At dusk, the sun in the west almost sank and the clouds in the sky were glowing red.
The house of the Stark family was located in the rich area by the riverside. Amin Stark had been living there before his marriage. However, after getting married, he took the initiative to move out.
Their matrimonial home was a high-end duplex apartment with simple western decoration style. It had open living room and study.
Tina lay on the desk, and the tip of her pen was drawing on the paper.
The maid who came back from the entrance said respectfully, "Madam, your dress is here!"
Tina's hands stopped moving.
She was in a trance for a moment.
After Isla's operation the year before, they moved to the No.1 Luxurious Residence and lived with Wilson. Wilson hired a nanny, Sister Kaylee, to take care of their daughter, and asked Sister Kaylee to call her Madam...
Every time the maid here called her Madam, Tina's thoughts would always drift away.
She withdrew her expression and nodded with a smile. "Okay, put it in the bedroom. I'll go and change it later!"
The maid nodded as instructed.
Tina finished the designs and looked at the watch. It was almost time, so she got up and went to change clothes.
At seven o'clock in the evening, in a five-star hotel.
Tina's dress was designed by herself. It was wine-red, simple and elegant.
After the GDA International Fashion Exhibition held in Lonton City at the beginning of the year, she became more famous in the industry. The workshop's order requests were so numerous that they couldn't handle them, and the people who came to ask her to design had to wait.
She lifted her hem and walked into the hall and handed over the invitation. At the entrance of the banquet hall, a tall man was waiting for her.
Amin Stark was wearing a dark suit. He had short brown hair, handsome eyes, gentle temperament, and a gentleman's bearing. It was easy to make women like him.
However, just like when they first met, he was always shrouded in a faint layer of sadness, and there seemed to be an unbreakable gloom in his eyes.
Tina asked, "Am I late?"
"No, just on time!" Amin shook his head and said in a gentle voice, "Tina, I'm sorry, today's a banquet is held by the elders who have been friends with the Stark family for many years. They ordered to bring families to attend. I really can't refuse!"
Tina said, "It doesn't matter!"
Amin smiled and raised his arm.
Tina reached out to hold him and they entered the banquet hall together.
The lights inside were gorgeous. Elegant ladies in beautiful dresses with fragrance and gentlemen move between clinking glasses.
Amin turned his head to her and said, "Tina, there are several big shots cooperating with us over there. I'll go over and say hello. There are food and drinks on the long table over there. Take good care of yourself!"
Tina nodded. "Okay, don't worry about me!"
Amin nodded at her and stepped into the crowd.
Tina walked toward the long table. Along the way, she met people she knew who greeted her, "Mrs. Stark."
She nodded to them all as response.
Behind her, someone called her name. "Tina!"
Tina looked back and saw a noble woman who tied her hairs into a high bun and wore a gorgeous cheongsam. She wore a Agate bracelet and looked graceful.
The look in her eyes was still full of kindness.
Tina bit her lip and called in gentle voice, "Aunt Meadow..."
She didn't expect to meet Meadow Yamada here.
Meadow Yamada came to attend the banquet with her husband, and she saw Tina when she came in.
"Bellamy, let me introduce. This is Tina!" Meadow pulled her husband beside her and smiled at Tina softly. "This is the father of Wilson, my husband. You can just call him Uncle Chin!"
Tina had promised that she would visit the two elders of the Chin Family on New Year's Eve.
But she broke her promise.
Tina had also imagined what it would be like when she would meet Bellamy for the first time. She did not expect it to be like this.
She felt as if her heart had been pricked by a needle.
Tina paused, adjusted her mood, and nodded with a smile. "Nice to meet you, Uncle Chin!"
"Hello!" Bellamy nodded.
He was serious and did not show much of a smile on his face, but he had a good impression of Tina in his heart.
She was very beautiful. When she smiled, her facial features were very gentle and her behavior was graceful. Her gentle temperament was written in her clear eyes, which could be seen clearly at a glance.
