Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 1913
Wilson's deep voice came from the other end of the phone. "Are you going to sleep?"
"Yes, I'm already on the bed," Tina said as she lay on the bed in a comfortable position.
He knew she had her own room in the apartment, so he didn't have any scruples.
He smiled and asked, "Is Isla asleep?"
"Yeah." She nodded and added happily, "Tonight, I read The Little Prince to her. After listening to it, she slept soundly."
In the past, every time he came home from work, they would talk like this.
Her voice unconsciously became softer. "What about you?"
He replied, "I just got back from the company. I worked overtime, so I just entered No.1 Luxurious Residence."
Through the phone, she heard him open the door and turn on the lights.
"Hmm," she said softly.
He put on his slippers and stood there, grumbling, "I want to sneak into your room and sleep with you."
She couldn't help looking out of the window.
The moon was bright. She could see no trees or streetlights, only the night sky.
She didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "Don't be silly. I live on the 13th floor. It's high. Do you want to die?"
She thought of Hayden, who had sneaked into Malee's bedroom through the window many times. No wonder he and Wilson were good friends.
Wilson's voice was full of affection. "Tina, I miss you."
She was touched.
He had said it so many times since his return that she knew he meant it.
No.1 Luxurious Residence was their home, but he was now alone there. He must feel very lonely.
She recalled how upset he looked when he drove her home.
She told him that she had agreed to marry Amin, not only for the sake of the Emery family, but also to punish him for abandoning her.
She regretted it now. She wanted to go back to his side.
But she and Amin had agreed to help each other and signed an agreement, so she had got to abide by it.
She could only comfort him softly. "Wilson, I miss you too!"
Wilson beamed with joy.
After thinking for a while, he said, "Tomorrow is the weekend. Shall we go out for a date?"
"I'm afraid I can't," she replied awkwardly. "Amin's mother invited us to the stable tomorrow, and I agreed."
At dinner, Amin's mother asked them to go to the stable with her tomorrow.
Because of their fake marriage, they rarely went to the Stark family to avoid trouble. Amin's mother rarely made requests. Now that she wanted them to go out with her, Tina couldn't say no.
Wilson was unhappy when he heard that.
He asked gloomily, "Can't you decline it?"
She said firmly, "No. I've promised her."
He snorted and hung up angrily.
...
The next day, it was sunny.
Amin drove Tina to the stable.
...
On their way there, they took Isla to the Amery family.
Early in the morning, Old Madam Amery called and said that she wanted to see Isla.
When Abby returned to the Amery family, Tina took Isla back to her apartment. Therefore, Old Madam Amery wanted Isla to spend the weekend with her in the Amery family.
Of course, Tina wouldn't prevent Isla from visiting her grandparents.
The stable was in the suburbs, and she was familiar with it.
She and Wilson had gone there once. After that, he bought the stable, and Isla kept a pony there.
It was open for business today, so there were many cars parked outside.
Tina and Amin got out of the car and went in to meet his mother.
Amin's mother was old and didn't like horseback riding or any other outdoor activities. Sometimes, she came here to watch horse racing with her friends.
The stable was very large. The main building was in the middle, with the horse riding court on the left and the horse racing area on the right.
Private rooms were on the second floor and were good places to enjoy the view.
Some people talked business in there.
Wilson was dressed in a black suit and wore a pair of glasses. He sat casually with his legs crossed. He exuded an air of grace and superiority.
Terry was on his wedding leave, so his secretary Irene was with him.
The sofa was arranged in a U shape. Many people in suits were chatting with each other.
Wilson glanced casually out of the window as he tapped his watch with his finger. Suddenly, he crooked his finger diagonally.
Roger, sitting there, shivered and looked around.
He was overjoyed when he confirmed that Wilson was gesturing at him.
He trotted over. "President Chin, what can I do for you?"
He had always wanted to talk to Wilson because he wanted to cooperate with the Chin's Group, but he couldn't get a chance. Last time, at Terry's wedding, he had been interrupted before he could get to the point, so when he learned that Wilson would be here today, he came as well.
He was a bit overweight, so when he grinned, he looked a little foolish.
Wilson pushed his glasses with his middle finger and asked, "Do you know Amin Stark?"
After thinking for a while, Roger replied honestly, "Yes, we're business partners."
A wicked smile spread across Wilson's face.
There were still two races to go, but Tina and Amin left early and walked east to the horse riding court. Amin's mother could tell that they weren't interested in horse racing, so she suggested they ride horses.
Because of horse racing, only a few people rode horses today. Most of the people on the court were employees.
Amin walked Tina to a pavilion. He didn't sit down but said, "I saw a business partner of mine. I'll go and say hello to him." "Okay." Tina nodded.
He said apologetically, "Wait for me here."
"Okay." She smiled.
He nodded and turned to leave.
The waiter served some exquisite pastries and tea. Tina drank a cup of tea, and it tasted sweet.
She put down her cup and heard footsteps behind her.
She was surprised.
She thought it was Amin and wondered why he came back so soon. She looked back but caught sight of Wilson's handsome face. She blinked in surprise.
