Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 876

Sean opened the iron gate of the warehouse and dragged Emily out.

It was not until now that Emily realized how desolate the surroundings were. The place seemed to be utterly bereft of human life. There were bungalows all around, which were factories that had been abandoned many years ago. A lot of garbage piled up. It seemed that no one had ever come to take care of this god-forsaken place.

Behind the warehouse was the muddy river. Sean dragged her to the shore by the rope.

Emily looked around, trying to replace a chance to escape.

However, she soon gave up because she did not know the terrain of this place and could not run faster than Sean. Besides, there was a huge gap in physical strength between men and women. What was worse, she could not even break free with both of her hands tied up...

When she was forced to the river shore, she could only resign herself to her fate.

There was a short and narrow small broken bridge in front of them. It seemed to be used for fishing in the past. The bridge had been abandoned for too long. Many of its wood had been weathered away. This bridge was on the verge of collapse. As the wind blew through the bridge, its wooden boards creaked.

Sean pulled her to the top of the bridge. Just as she looked at the fast-flowing river below, she shuddered all over.

The bridge was so narrow that they could barely go through side by side. If not careful enough, they might fall off it.

Thus, Emily took every step with extreme caution and had given up her effort to escape for fear that she would accidentally fall down. When the cool river wind went into her collar, she felt freezing cold. As they reached the bridge's end, Sean finally stopped.

The fishy wind mixed with the smell of alcohol assailed Emily's nostrils, and the flowing river below her feet made her nervous.

Sean looked at his watch impatiently, as if he had made an appointment with someone. About five or six minutes later, he raised his head and looked into the distance, his eyes suddenly turning red. Emily followed his eyes and saw a black Cayenne speeding towards them.

The car braked suddenly. A tall figure pushed open the car door and jumped off the car. Meanwhile, Addy, who was in the co-pilot seat, pushed the door open and got off the car.

Watching them running over, Emily was glad that she could finally be saved...

However, in her heart, she mocked herself and somehow felt like laughing. In the end, she forced a tight smile.

As soon as Simon's leather shoes stepped on the bridge, Sean immediately shouted warily, "Don't come over here!"

With a distance of more than ten meters, Simon fixed his peach blossom eyes on her.

In just a few seconds, he quickly looked her up and down. Luckily, there were no external injuries. It seemed that Sean did not do anything crazy to harm her.

"Emily, don't be scared. I'm here!" His Adam's apple moved as he said. Slowly, his drooping hands clenched into fists. He comforted her in his low voice. Right now, he really wanted to kill him! Emily opened her mouth but did not say anything.

She did not know what to say. Besides, her teeth started to tremble when the strong wind filled her mouth.

At this time, Addy also arrived and was panting for breath. Simon looked at her and said coldly, "Sean, I have brought Addy here. Now, let my wife go!"

After the text message, he also received a phone call from Sean.

He did not have to weigh the pros and cons. Whatever the cost, he would choose to save Emily. When hanging up the phone, he asked Wilson to connect the police and handle other affairs. After that, he drove directly to the closed community, picked up Addy, and came to meet Wilson as he requested.

"Sean, how could you kidnap Miss Sam? Don't you know you are breaking the law?" Addy said in a hurry.

"If I don't do this, how can I see you?!" Sean said, his eyes reddening.

Seeing that his hand was tightly holding onto Emily, Addy instantly said, "Sean, you asked to see me, and I'm here now. Let her go!"

"No!" Sean shook his head and roared loudly, "Addy, why do you hide from me? Do you want to divorce so much? The verdict will be announced soon. Do you really want to divorce me? I don't care. I won't divorce. I'll be with you forever, and you can't get rid of me for the rest of your life!"

Simon had already lost all his patience. When he saw that Emily was tied up and her life was threatened, his heart burned with anxiety.

His thin lips moved, and he gnashed his teeth as he said in an ice-cold voice. "Sean, listen, let my wife go!"

Then, he strode towards them. Seeing him coming over, Sean dragged Emily and took two steps back. "Don't come any closer! If you take another step forward, I'll push her down the bridge! I'm not joking. If you don't believe me, then try!"

Emily took a deep breath to calm her racing pulse.

The look on her face suddenly became panic as she looked at the deep river under her feet in terror.

This river went through Ice city, and there would be a few reported cases of drowning that happened in this river every year. In fact, Emily had reported such news before. Thus, though she was not in the middle of the river at this time, it was enough to make her panic.

They had been standing at the edge of the broken bridge. After they took a step back, there was no more room forthem to retreat.

If they drew back a little further, they would fall down...

When Simon saw this, he had no choice but to stop. How he wished he had taken a gun with him! In that case, he could directly shoot Sean to death.

"Okay, we won't go over!" Addy came forward to console him, trying to persuade him. "Sean, listen to me. You're committing a crime here. Let Miss Sam go as soon as possible. You're looking for me, aren't you? I'm already here. We can talk about everything slowly. It's too dangerous for you to stand there now!"

"I don't want a divorce!" Sean shook his head, and the expression on his face became ferocious. "I've been pursuing you for four years, and you finally agreed to marry me. However, not long after our marriage, you want to divorce me! I won't accept the result! And you even decided to sue for divorce. As I said, once being my wife, you would be my wife forever, even after your death!"

After this resentful roar, Sean's face suddenly changed, and he actually began to beg. Abruptly, he seemed to have become a totally different person. "Dear, I was wrong. I knew it was wrong to hit you, but I apologized to you, didn't I? I knew that I shouldn't have beaten you. Can't you give me another chance? Why do you insist on divorcing me?! Can you forgive me? Let's continue to live together as husband and wife!"

"As long as you promise me that you won't divorce me, I'll let her go immediately!" Sean shouted with his eyes wide open, breathing alcohol fumes all over Emily.

"Well, I promise you!" Addy nodded thoughtfully and then urged, "I said yes. Can you let Miss Sam go now?"

But Sean did not intend to release Emily. Instead, he stared at Addy, shook his head, and said baldly, "You're lying."
