Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 918

She really did not expect that her fiance would suddenly appear here, and it seemed that he had arrived for a long time...

Because it was not far away, Calvin had already come to her. "I knew you came to attend the funeral in the cemetery. I happened to be free, so I came to pick you up!" Emily said hesitantly, "Why didn't you tell..."

"I don't know when you will finish it, so I'm waiting here. You can see me when you go down the mountain!" Calvin answered it.

After all, it seemed a little awkward for him, Emily's current fiance, to attend the funeral, so he stayed here and waited for her.

Emily understood what he meant and felt very grateful. It was just embarrassing that she stayed together with her ex-husband and fiance again...

She licked her lips and didn't know what to say. Calvin took the initiative to say, "Mr. Chin, I'm sorry!"

Seeing that Calvin appear in Ice city, Simon's eyes flashed with a trace of surprise. He nodded slightly as a response, and then he took a glance at their faces. After looking at Emily for two seconds, he took ou the car key from his pocket and silently walked to the Cayenne parked behind the BMW. "I'll leave first."

As the car drove from the viaduct, the street scenes on both sides flashed by at a constant speed.

Emily tilted her head, and her eyes were still focused on the rearview mirror. The black Cayenne had already disappeared.

When they met the red light, Calvin, who in the driver's seat, shouted at her. She turned around in alarm. "Ah, Calvin, what did you say?"

"Sorry, I haven't recovered from grandmother's funeral yet!" Emily apologized.

"Never mind. I can understand!" Calvin held the steering wheel with a smile on his face and patiently repeated his words. "I just said that I have discussed with my parents, and they have decided to invite your aunt and uncle to Ice city. Then the two families can have a formal meeting and discuss the marriage. Meanwhile, I can have a chance to treat them well. Emily, what do you think?"

Emily was silent for a moment and nodded. "Yes, that's okay..."

Subconsciously, she didn't want to let Calvin visit her aunt and uncle in the town. After all, Simon often visited his aunt and uncle before. She was worried that it would be awkward for the two elders to get along with her fiance. If they were arranged to meet in Ice city, it would be appropriate.

Calvin was very happy to hear this and said excitedly, "That's settled then. I'll prepare for it!"

"Hmm, thank you for your effort!"

"I'm happy to do that!"

Three days later, it was in the shopping center.

Because of the sudden death of Simon's grandmother, Emily didn't keep her promise to visit Calvin's parents. She planned to replace another appropriate opportunity to visit them, in order to make up for her rudeness of the last appointment. She bought a lot of gifts again for the two elders.

When she left the shopping mall, she went to the bathroom.

Calvin, as a gentleman, naturally waited for her outside.

Unlike the men's lavatory, the women's lavatory was popular. Emily spent too much time on it. When she came out after washing hands, she saw Calvin standing at the door and waiting for her in the distance. It seemed that he had met a friend. They were talking now.

Because there was a white glass pillar blocking the vision, she could only vaguely see the clothes of that person, and she could roughly figure out that it was a man.

By the time Emily walked over, that person had left.

Hearing the footsteps, Calvin turned around and smiled at her. She curiously looked at the crowd at the exit and asked casually, "Calvin, who were you talking to just now?"

"What a coincidence to meet Mr. Chin!" Calvin answered with a smile.

Emily stopped wiping her hands with a paper towel and raised her head in disbelief. "Simon?"

"Yes." Calvin nodded and then continued to say, "He must have come here for dinner. When he came down the stairs, we greeted each other and chatted for a while!"

Hearing that, Emily swallowed and asked, "What... did you guys talk about?"

"Nothing important. We just casually chatted for a while. He asked me why I suddenly returned to Ice city before my dispatch period is not over!" Calvin paused to observe her expression. Then he continued to say, "I didn't hide anything. I told him the truth. I said I submitted a marriage report and came back to prepare for our wedding!"

"..." Emily pursed her lips.

Calvin gently held her shoulders and kept silent for two seconds. "Emily, what's wrong with you? Do you blame me for talking too much? After all, he is your ex-husband..."

"No!" Emily shook her head.

Calvin did not tell a lie. He just answered the truth. What's more, there was no need to hide such a thing. Simon would know it sooner or later.

Emily looked up and smiled. "Calvin, let's go. It's not okay to be late again this time!"

"Okay!" Calvin heaved a sigh of relief and returned with a gentler smile.

The visit to the Desmond family was as relaxed as Emily expected. The elders were very easy to get along with, and they finished their dinner very happily. At about nine o'clock in the evening, Calvin drove her home.

The BMW steadily stopped at the downstairs of the apartment building, and the street lights were shining on the car.

Calvin walked around the front of the car to open the door for her and asked her with a smile, "Emily, how is it? My family are very friendly, right?"

"Well, it's easy to get along with them!" Emily nodded.

"That's good. I'm still afraid that you don't get used to it. After all, today is a family dinner. In addition to my parents and grandma, there are many relatives there!" Calvin kept smiling. Obviously, he was in a good mood.

Emily smiled and said, "It's very late now. Calvin, you can go back early and have a rest!"

"Okay." Calvin nodded. Before she turned around, he took her hand and said, "Emily!"

Emily turned around in confusion and saw that he was staring at her affectionately. Her eyelids twitched.

Sure enough, Calvin bent over to approach her.

Actually, the two had been together for about three months, but they had almost never done anything intimate. At most, they just held hands, hugged, or kissed each other's forehead. Emily was very grateful to him, because he treated her well though she had been married and had suffered an accidental abortion...

Emily held her breath and unconsciously clenched her hands tightly.

Calvin seemed to have felt her nervousness. He just kissed her on the lips lightly.

Emily's heart rate returned to normal. She couldn't tell what it felt like. She didn't feel resistant to it, but she didn't feel excited either. Every time the man approached her, she was more at a loss.

Calvin let go of her and said, "I'm going home. I'll send you a message when I get home!"

Emily said slowly, "Okay. Be careful on the road."

Watching the brown BMW disappear in the darkness, she lowered her head and went into the building. As soon as she stepped in, an arm suddenly pulled her over, and her back was forced to lean against the wall. Then a hot mouth kissed her lips.
