Purchased A Mr. Right
Chapter 944

It was dusk, and the sun was setting.

Emily sat in front of the dining table, holding her face with both hands and staring at the clock hanging on the wall.

When there was a sound coming from the entrance, she immediately jumped up like a wife waiting for her husband at home. She went up to him with a smile and said, "Finally, you're back, Simon!" Simon entered the door and put the key on the shoe cabinet.

Emily put her hands on her stomach and yelled at him, "I'm starving to death. I feel like I can eat a cow! I really want to eat the chilli fish head and sweet and sour pork that you made!"

He used to cook these two dishes for her, especially when she was pregnant. At the moment, she really missed the taste, or she missed their good time in the past.

"I'm afraid I can't." Simon's lips twitched.

"Why?" Emily blinked her eyes. She thought it was because there were no ingredients at home.

Just as she was about to ask him to go shopping together, she saw him slightly leaned to his side and stretched his arms behind his straight and tall back and said, "Connie, come in!" Emily's eyes were wide open.

A small woman walked out from his back. The woman seemed to be two or three years younger than her. Although her skin was slightly dark, she was well-featured. With her curly hair cascaded down, she could be counted beautiful.

Connie walked in and was amazed and said in sweet girlish voice, "Here we are, Dr. Chin, your home. It's so beautiful!"

Beautiful your a*s!

Emily cursed silently in her heart.

She sat in front of the dining table again with her hands holding her face. But this time, instead of staring at the clock on the wall, she fixed her eyes on the kitchen, glaring at it as if she had some feud with it. If expression of eyes could kill people, she would have already killed everyone!

Compared to the humming kitchen ventilator, the two figures seeming to be intimate attracted more of her hatred. Simon was bending down to tie the apron for Connie. The two were smiling and cooking together.

Emily took a huge glass bottle and gulped down the water in it to quench the anger in her heart.

Half an hour later, they finally came out of the kitchen and placed the dishes on the table.

Simon pulled out the chair for Connie and then sat next to her. There was almost no gap between them. They were very close to each other. It seemed that they are doing so deliberately that they even ignored Emily opposite to them.

Connie served ribs soup to Simon, putting the bowl in front of him. She said bashfully, "Dr. Chin, how is it? This is the first time I have cooked you something. Actually, I'm a little nervous!"

"It looks good!" Simon smiled, showing happiness in his attracting eyes, and said, "Connie, you could make a good wife!"

When Emily heard this, she felt like it was a indirect condemnation.

Sweeping her eyes over every dish on the dining table, she pursed her lips and thought, "It's not a big deal. It just looks good. Who knows how it tastes!"

Besides, what's the big deal about being able to cook? She was also good at making simple dishes, such as cooking noodles or frying eggs. But she couldn't name one more dish that she could make. She felt the bitterness of failure.

"Dr. Chin, have a taste of this beef! Is it tasty?" As she was saying, Connie picked up a piece of beef with chopsticks, and then handed it directly to Simon, blushing, "Let me feed you, okay?" "Okay." Simon did not refuse.

Seeing that he had eaten the beef cooked by her and nodded with approval, Connie's face turned redder. She couldn't hide the infatuation in her eyes. "Dr. Chin, I'm happy to let you have dishes cooked by me!"

"Is that so?" Simon raised his eyebrow.

He raised his long arm and held Connie in his arms with a little force. Connie also leaned on his chest with her breath almost stopped, and unconsciously put her hands on his chest muscles... Emily slammed her chopsticks to the ground and questioned angrily, "Have you had enough?"

Simon looked at her with his beautiful eyes. There was only indifference on his handsome face. He said in a deep voice, "Emily, have you been clear now? I don't need your company!" "Simon Chin!" Emily shouted through gritted teeth.

"If you know what's good for you, you'd better go back to Ice City as soon as possible. Don't bother us here anymore. It's disgusting!" Simon looked away from her face coldly. His slender fingers gently lifted the chin of the woman who was nestled in his arms.

He said ambiguously, "Connie, don't leave tonight!"

Connie nodded shyly. "Mmhm..."

When he saw that the woman's body was almost all attached to his body, and her hand slipped through the loose part of his shirt like a snake, his chest could be vaguely seen moving up and down, and his thir lips fell on the woman's neck...

Emily couldn't stand it anymore and rose to her feet from the chair. She turned around, grabbed her coat, and ran out.

Peng!

A loud sound of the door being slammed from the entrance.

Emily ran out of the building in one breath and ran all the way to the crossstreet. Further up ahead was the foot of the mountain. There were many citizens of Tbridge City having set up stalls in the night market and peddling. She is not in the mood to shop. She only gritted her teeth and continued to walk forward.

"Ah, ah, ah!" She shouted in her heart

Simon, you son of a b*tch!

Emily kicked a stone away.

Hands on hips, she cursed him more than a hundred times in her heart, but she still didn't feel that it was enough to vent her anger. It is driving her crazy!

Her toes hurt by kicking stones. Tired and gasping, she squatted down and held her knees. She was angry and felt wronged. She wanted to cry and before she noticed it, she felt mist in her eyes and tears had dropped.

She had traveled all the way here, only to be kicked out of his house and endure all the annoyance.

Emily knew that he did it on purpose.

The woman named Connie should be his colleague, and Emily could feel it from the way Simon called her. All happened just now were probably just acting. The reason why he did so was to drive her away and let her go back to Ice City, giving up the idea of staying here.

But on thinking that he was holding that woman in his arms, let the woman's hand touch his chest, and even allow her hands into the shirt...

Although she was aware that it was fake, she was still infuriated by his being intimate with another woman.

"Such a bastard..."

Emily cursed in her heart.

At the time, she was enraged and she hated him so much. Although it was very rough for her to come to such a remote and unfamiliar place, when she thought of the earthquake in Country S when he went to her regardless of so many difficulties and risks, her heart suddenly softened.

Emily kicked away the last stone in front of her foot and then wiped tears and stood up.

Even when she was so angry, she didn't really want to leave.

If she really wanted to leave, she wouldn't have only taken a coat and left the luggage there. She made her collar tidy and didn't go back immediately. Instead, she went into a fast food restaurant. "Miss, what would you like to eat?"

Emily pounded the table and turned her anger into her appetite. "A bowl of noodles! Use the biggest bowl!"
