Queen Of The Alpha
Chapter 31

Layan was in his study checking a few things before going for a run when he heard the sound of window panes shattering into a thousand pieces. The door burst open. Kei rushed in with a shocked face that was the complete opposite of his own, devoid of emotion. That didn’t bode well.

-What’s wrong?

-Layan and Priscilla, they…

Layan opened his eyes. His intention in leaving them alone was for them to try to understand each other, not to fight, and certainly not like that, but he was talking about Priscilla after all, with whom even he would lose patience in less than two seconds. In that she was just like her father.

He ran out into the back garden, where the smell of both of them grew stronger and what he found made his breath catch in his throat. Both were in their wolfish bodies. He made his way down the stairs as the guards gathered but dared not intervene, he didn’t know what to really do or the reason for the fight. Only that there was something strange.

Leila was the one who was constantly attacking, opening her mouth and baring her fangs in the direction of Priscilla’s neck. Priscilla only dodged and backed away growling despite her body completely covered in thick black fur and her large size intimidating everyone present. Its back was extremely bristly and its muscles were marked showing the tension in its body. But still it did not return the attack.

-Layan advanced towards the two of them to stop the whole thing, but Priscilla’s growl stopped him.

-Don’t interfere,” Priscilla warned him in her mind, “You’ll only make things worse.

-Let me deal with her,” she demanded.

The she-wolf would like to say that this was the best method, but she had noticed that as soon as Layan had smelled her brother she had become more aggressive. But the mental argument with Layan cost her. Soon he felt a pain shoot through his entire front paw and made him let out a whimper.

This time he didn’t hold back and grabbed the brown wolf by the back of the neck hard and yanked him to the side not caring if he hurt himself. He was enduring enough. In the process, the wolf’s teeth that hadn’t let go ripped deep into her paw. Priscilla recoiled, groaning from the pain in her limb and unable to support it, the wound was reaching to the bone and b***d was gushing out, staining the grass beneath her.

But Leila did not stop there. She had fallen with a thud but with the same sound she got back up to strike again when her paws were stopped in place. Layan gasped as she noticed how a dense cloak covered her sister’s paws pinning her down.

Priscilla stared at Layan, her silver eyes grew brighter and she did what mother had taught her best, enter the depths of her mind. This time she wasn’t turned away she was just stranded in the middle of the darkness. There was nothing.

-Priscilla,” that voice.

-What are you up to?” she sounded quite calm.

-Me? To have fun with you, beautiful?

-I don’t want to play-

-Hahaha, do you want to replace me?

Priscilla didn’t answer.

-Well then, replace me if you can.

-I’ll replace you, Liam.

-Try hard Priscilla, in the end it’s fate…

Leila’s mind grew clearer and Priscilla stepped back. The she-wolf’s empty eyes soon came to life before she fell unconscious. Layan rushed over to Leila feeling her pulse and found it was steady.

-Priscilla approached them transforming her body. Her human arm was in no better condition than when it was a paw. The wound now looked bigger- She was a little excited but I’ve calmed her down.

Layan took off his shirt and gave it to Kei to hand to her. Priscilla looked at the article of clothing and put it on over her. She didn’t mind the nudity, that was normal for wolves. But Layan didn’t seem to think so, especially when there were more than twenty wolves around her, who could notice her well-proportioned body. And then there were the marks that for some reason felt right that they were on his neck.

-Kei, take my sister to her room. She doesn’t seem to be hurt.

-She’s not,” Priscilla stressed, “At least not her,” she said with what sounded like irony.

Her hand tried to contain the b***d that gushed from her wound. Kei listened to her and easily carried Leila in her wolf form that was not as big as wolves her age and carried her off with ease.

Layan walked over to Priscilla and grabbed her hand pulling her inside as well.

-Layan, you didn’t say we were going for a run,” she looked puzzled.

-Shut up,” he led her through one of the halls of the huge castle to a small but no less elegant bathroom.

-I won’t shut up. You’re dragging me in after waking me up early,” she chattered.

Layan kicked in the bathroom door and led her inside, closing the door with his foot. He led her over to the sink plateau and in one swift movement grabbed her by the waist and sat her down. He spread her legs and reached between them, grabbing her bloody arm.

-Are you going to clean up the mess your sister made,” she blurted out but then fell silent. Layan’s eyes told her to stay calm and she understood. She would listen to him this time. Layan looked really upset.

-This is going to hurt. So suck it up,” he told her before giving the first lick on the wounds on her skin.

Priscilla’s eyes widened at the sharpest pain she had ever suffered in her life and she bit her lips hard to keep from screaming. Still sounds came from her throat. Layan’s tongue felt like a hot fist on her skin that only tortured her, but underneath it the skin began to regenerate without scarring.

The taste of Priscilla’s b***d was too sweet for Layan’s palate that only craved more and before he knew it he was enjoying this delicacy before the wounds were completely closed. But he could only prolong the she-wolf’s suffering for so long. His method of healing was not at all pleasant to the recipient.

He licked the places where the wounds were deepest and the skin was torn. It was a total mess as Priscilla had said. Muscles, nerves and even bone had been damaged so he had to use more saliva than he intended.

Her body froze when she heard what sounded like a…. wheezing?

She raised her head with her mouth still stained with the she-wolf’s b***d and her chest tightened. Priscilla’s cheeks were bathed in silent tears, her body trembled and her face, which was always cold, showed a marked grimace of pain.

For, even if she had no emotions, the pain was physical and that could not be so easily unfeelable.
