I can’t believe it’s over.

The further we went down, the more humans and naturals we found. Each had arrived at different times; they had experimented on many. Time no longer had any meaning to them. There had been a few full-blood witches. We are still trying to figure out how they had gotten their hands on them. They had found a handful of omegas. A mixture of men and women. The list could go on.

A few so-called doctors had been found and were being questioned. I wish I could feel some sort of sympathy for them.

We had eventually found Megan and Nathan. When we had entered the cell, she had been laying on some sort of makeshift bed, her head on the Vampire King’s lap. It had been a struggle to get her away from him. She had yelled, screaming that they couldn’t be separated. At first, we didn’t understand.

He hadn’t wanted to let her go, and she hadn’t wanted to leave him. Somehow, we had torn her away from him. None of us knew what kind of mistake we had made.

Lucien and I were still together. Though we are bonded, we were married for all intents and purposes; I wanted a human wedding. After some reluctance, Lucien had given in to the idea. I was now planning our wedding. My family had been slow to accept it but were now coming around to the idea. I loved him more each day, and he was beginning to show his feelings and love for me in front of others. He was a fantastic father. To my relief, Aria hadn’t been seen or heard from. That didn’t mean that she was gone for good. I just hope that Lucien knew what he was doing when he let her go. While she was allowed to walk this Earth, she still posed a threat to us all. Lucien had found the naturals who had attacked Alex. Their description of the person who had hired them was as plain as the nose on my face. It had been Aria. Alex was back to his normal self and was now back here working for Lucien.

Jaden had arrived back, along with Leighton. Drake hadn’t been far behind them. It was soon apparent that Leighton and Drake had a pass.

We had tried our hardest to keep Megan away from Nathan. It hadn’t worked.

Jacob had asked for Lucien’s help. We found out that Melissa might be his only chance to save his people. At first, she had been reluctant to help, but had eventually caved in.

Mia had gone with the Elf King. We had tried to talk her out of going without success. It had affected Abigail the most. After Mia had left, Abigail had turned to Damien. What would happen between them is anyone’s guess. Damien wasn’t what he appeared to be.

Evelyn had gone home. It was coming up to her metamorphosis. This was a hard time for her and her family. We wondered if her appearance would have changed by the time we got to see her again.

Lucien had confided in me who Chamuel was, and he had introduced us to his beautiful daughter. He looked nothing like Lucien. Maybe that was a blessing in disguise. I was shocked to replace out who he was.

After seeing the Dragon King, Pamela had started to act oddly. She had gone missing frequently, and when any of us asked her where she had been. She would withdraw into herself and refuse to say.
