Chapter 56 Leaving

“Let go of me, you scum. If you dare to touch me, my father won’t let you go!” Eileen desperatelyshouted, hoping her words would deter Thomas.

But Thomas only laughed arrogantly in response, “Your father? Your father is nothing but a piece ofshit. Even if he comes here, he’ll be my dog.”

Eileen called for help, “Help! Help!”

Thomas responded with disdain, “Shut up, you annoying lady! And what kind of underwear are youwearing? All lacy! Disgusting!” He slapped her across the face.

Eileen’s face was slapped to the side, and in retaliation, she tried to bite him. But Thomas grabbed herhair and pulled it forcefully, causing her to cry out in pain.

Just then, another man came down from upstairs.

Seeing a potential savior, Eileen desperately pleaded, “Help me, please… help me…”

The narrow corridor now crowded with three people.

Thomas aggressively warned the newcomer, “Let me tell you, stop meddling in my own business.”

The newcomer was taller than Thomas, with a cold and fierce demeanor. He glared at Thomas andcommanded, “Let go!”

Thomas stubbornly refused, “Get out of here!”

The newcomer’s voice turned even colder, “I’ll say it one last time, let go!”

“What can you do if I don’t let go? Do you know who I am? I can kill you right here!” Thomas retorted, pointing a finger at the newcomer’s face.

Without warning, the newcomer delivered a swift kick that sent Thomas tumbling down the stairs, resulting in screams of pain.

Laleen was startled by the sudden turn of events, witnessing Thomas lying unconscious on the ground, blood dripping from his forehead.

Covering her mouth to suppress her emotions, she retrained from crying out loud

Before i dern could thank the man who had helped her, he had already lett the scene

she dropped the key on the ground, but there was no time to retrieve it. She quickly locked the door, grabbed her clothes from the closet, and packed them into her suitcase.

In the past, she had been shielded from the dangers of the outside world by the dealer, and she had noidea how harsh and difficult life could be without her identity and financial

resources.

Suffering for half a minute seemed like nothing compared to the uncertain and challenging life that layahead.

Could it be that she was destined to be trapped in this life forever? Was this the path her life was meantto follow?

Feeling overwhelmed with powerlessness, Eileen sat on the ground, contemplating her fate.

Perhaps it was Will’s debt, and now it was her turn to pay it off.

Eileen collected her clothes from the balcony and accidentally saw Elm wearing a black vest, huggingand kissing Vera on the balcony.

He lowered her head and raised his eyes, he caught a glimpse of Eileen packing her things andentering the house.

The clock now showed four o’clock. Eileen had left a letter on the table before departing, knowing thatwhen Sharon returned, she would already be in Lumiose.

Upon reading the letter, Sharon would understand everything-the reason for her sudden departure.

With her luggage in tow, Eileen left the apartment, leaving Thomas lying unconscious on the

stairs.

When he eventually regained consciousness, Thomas would not let her go easily.

As she dragged her luggage away. Thomas weakly shouted after her, “You wench…don’t think you canescape from me!” But he soon fell unconscious again.

Fileen arrived at a convenience store, where she spent two hundred dollars borrowed from Mr.Samuel’s wife to purchase a bus ticket to Lumiose, using her ID card for verification. The bus journeywould take 16 hours, making it a lengthy trip. Luckily, she managed to secure the last urket for themight, departing at 8:30 in the evening

Concerned about the weather, Mrs. Samuel suggested, “Miss, it looks like it’s going to rain today…Maybe you should consider going tomorrow instead. It’s quite late now, and the bus might be delayed.”

Eileen, eager to leave, responded, “Mrs. Samuel, is there any way you can help me get there? I’ll payyou extra for it.”

Mrs. Samuel hesitated at first but eventually refused, saying, “No way! It would take two hours and theroad might not be safe in heavy rain.”

Eileen persisted, “What about a hundred dollars more?”

Initially tempted, the Mrs. Samuel quickly shook her head with an embarrassed expression, “No, yourlife isn’t worth a hundred…”

“How about two hundred dollars? If you won’t go, I’ll replace someone else,” Eileen proposed.

The Mrs. Samuel accepted the two hundred yuan, quickly stashing it in her pocket, and then said, “Waita minute, let me call my husband. He can take you there.”

Eileen replied, “Thank you, it’s kind of you.”

Soon, the boss arranged for a van to take Eileen to her destination.

The Mrs. Samuel held Eileen’s bag and reminded her, “Miss, you have to be careful traveling alone tosuch a far place. Don’t let yourself get kidnapped by bad guys. You are so good- looking; humantraffickers would be particularly interested in someone like you.”

Eileen noticed something in the Mrs. Samuel’s eyes, a subtle expression she could not quiteunderstand.

As she was about to take the luggage handed over by the Mrs. Samuel…

Eileen’s instincts told her that something was wrong as she saw the boss sitting in the driver’s seat witha smirk on his face. Looking around, she noticed other people in the car as well.

In an attempt to buy some time, Eileen calmly said, “Wait a minute, I have something in your store thatI didn’t take. I’ll go and get it”

But the boss hurriedly pushed her into the car, insisting. “Get in the car first, I’ll get it for you!

Thinking quickly Eileen replied. I put it on the floor of the refrigerator next to it

The tuns iralized what had happened and shouted, “It’s not good, the girl ran away! Chase

Hearing this, Thomas, who was in the car behind, became furious. He pressed the window down andshouted, “Damn it If I don’t teach he lesson today. Fll have her surname

Thomas had initially planned to wait for an opportunity to catch her, but Eileen proved to be clever andsaw through their deceit

Previously, Thomas had fainted on the stairs, and Morgan found her son with a bleeding forehead. Shepanicked and immediately sent in to the clinic

As soon as Thomas was out of the clinic, he searched the streets to replace Eileen and settle the

The van quickly turned around and began chasing after Eileen.
