Natalie quickly tossed aside the conch shell and swam towards de man, whose body was surrounded by blood, turning the sea around him a shocking red.

Her eyes showed a hint of fear, the shadow left from when a shark had appeared earlier.

With the man's back to her, Natalie couldn't immediately recognize him. The blood on him would attract nearby sharks.

Natalie didn't hesitate for a second. She tightly grabbed the mans arm as he was slowly sinking. She didn't even care who he was: the only thought in her mind was to get out of this dangerous situation as quickly as possible. Using all her strength, she began pulling the man, swimming desperately towards the surface. Breaking through the water, Natalie shouted, "Tiana, quick! Help this guy!"

Tiana was speechless. She thought. Do I just hear right? It's a person that needs saving, not a fish.

Tiana put away her fishing rod. She wasn't really into fishing, and she had just caught one that was too big and nearly got pulled into the ocean herself. Luckily, the line broke, and she escaped unscathed. She was annoyed, didn't want to fish anymore, and then she heard Natalie calling for help.

Dropping her rod, she saw Natalie swimming desperately towards shore with a guy. Tiana was taken aback. She thought. Is there a person in the ocean?

Spotting a shark not far off, Tiana's eyes widened in fear. She quickly jumped into the water to help. She wasn't the best swimmer, but thankfully, the water was shallow near the shore.

But Natalie, being strong, had already reached the shore. Tiana came over to help, and together they dragged Vance out of the sea. The sharks arrived too.

Natalie was startled but was thankful for her quick reflexes; otherwise, it would have been dangerous.

Tiana patted her chest in relief. The shark, not replaceing any prey, swam away. "Oh gosh! Natalie, this ocean is way too dangerous. We should definitely stay away from it next time."

She looked down and saw that the person lying on the ground was Vance. She was amazed again. "Why is Vance here? What's this jerk doing in this place?"

Natalie also saw it was Vance. She was puzzled. In this lifetime, she ended up saving him. This seemed to be a special fate this time.

He was supposed to be found by a fisherman three days later, with his lower back injured against the rocks, leaving him paralyzed from the waist down. Even being paralyzed from the waist down, Vance still dearly loved Jennifer.

She frowned, noticing his thigh was bleeding as if something had pierced it. The bits of flesh were still floating in the water, swaying. It must have hurt a lot.

Natalie took a deep breath and closed her eyes in pain. In her previous life, because she played the piano better than Jennifer, Vance ordered the kidnappers to break her fingers, even while lying in bed. Natalie suddenly opened her eyes and decided to save Vance after all. A healer had a compassionate heart, not because he

was Vance

Natalie brought a first aid kit on the boat, as many accidents could happen at sea. She swam to the speedboat, her body gracefully leaping onto it, grabbing the medical kit as she got on 11:38

Chapter 201

She cut Vance's pants with scissors and looked at the hole in his high. She had to admit, it was oddly satisfying, as the understand the pain all too well

After applying antiseptle cream and bandaging the wound, she then performed CPR on him.

Natalie's actions were rough. She firmly pressed on his chest, and a few minutes later, Vance coughed up some water, beginning to wake up. Tiana watched Natalie press down forcefully and felt a bit concerned. "Natalie, let's be gentle. We don't want to break his ribs," she cautioned. Natalie shot her a cold glance. "Feeling sorry for him?" Tiana suddenly felt the chill of a deathly stare.

She shook her head. "No way. Why would I feel sorry for him?"

But Natalie had such intense hatred. But it made sense. Natalie was seeing everything clearly now. These jerks were really annoying.

Jennifer's poor tricks-everyone fell for them. What a bunch of tools.

Jennifer looked so innocent and harmless that it was easy for people to let their guard down. Using her sweet face to deceive. it was easy to fool those who weren't seeing everything. Luckily, she could see everything clearly now. Vance spat out some water, opened his eyes, and saw Natalie. He was shocked. "Na... Natalie, is that your"

Tiana was angry. "What luck, to replace you while fishing in the sea if it weren't for Natalie, you'd have been shark food by now

"Poor Natalie, bullied by you guys like that, and she still had to haul you out of the sea." Vance was taken aback, looking at Natalie in her diving suit.

He thought, 'Did she... save me?"

"Natalie..." said Vance.

Natalie frowned. "Shut up."

g fun? How d

Vance asked, "Wha... What happened to me? Tiana, weren't we just out having fun? How did I end up in the sea?"

Tiana was speechless.

She looked at Natalie with confusion. 'Natalie, do you think he got knocked silly by someone?"

Natalie shook her head. "Who knows? Let's go. First, let's get him to the hospital on the island for treatment."

Tiana tidied up a bit and then helped Natalie lift Vance onto the speedboat, laying him flat.

Natalie gave Vance a pill. "I gave you some bleeding-stopper medicine. We still have an hour's ride back. Hold on, whether you make it is up to you."

Vance chuckled. "Natalie, weren't we on a trip with Mom? Why is it just you two here? Where's Mom, where's Jason?"

Natalie looked at him puzzled. "What mom? Vance, when did I ever go on a trip with you? Stop pretending to have amnesia. Once we get to the island, call your family to take care of you." Natalie noticed the confusion in his eyes. She thought, What's happening with him? Both his body and mind have taken a hit, His extreme emotions must have caused the memory loss. Tiana looked at James in shock, something was definitely off with this jerk.

Chapter 231

Tiana said, "Natalie, do you remember? The year you were four Wendy took a bunch of us out to have fun. That time was on another island. It seems his memory is stuck there?

The things she did with Vance stayed vivid in her mind. To be losest, that rascal used to occupy her thoughts without paying any rent.

For Natalie, it felt like ages ago, two lifetimes even, and she

truly couldn't remember anymore.

There were so few happy memories, her mind was filled with scenes of them picking on her.

Natalie was driving the speedboat and took a closer look at Vance. He still looked confused, like he wasn't pretending.

"Natalie, since you're back home, how about taking you out for some tasty food?" Vance suggested with a smile, feeling dizzy and wondering if he had just fallen into the ocean. His legs hurt lot too.

Her

glanced at Tiana standing nearby; she seemed to have lost weight and looked more beautiful. He thought, Dressed so

off skimpily, who is she trying to catch the eye

Vance said, "And Tiana, your egg rolls are the best. Make sure to bring me some tomorrow morning"

Tiana was furious, glaring at him fiercely. "You still expect me to bring you egg rolls? Be careful, you might choke on them! Keep dreaming, will you?

"And do you think that by losing your memory, you can erase the harm you've done to me? We've been over for a year now?" Vance froze as an unexplainable sadness welled up inside him, making him tremble. He thought, "Why does Tiana's eyes seem so unfamiliar!" SEND GIFT
