Chapter 245

Easton put on a silk crew-neck shirt. As the sea breeze blew, his firm abs became partially visible, showing off his perfect physique and strong chest, utterly captivating. He exuded a sexy and masculine charm.

Jennifer looked at Easton, being tempted. Her cheeks flushed as she waited for Easton's reply.

Easton buttoned his shirt slowly, then spoke casually, "My grandfather wouldn't leave anything to the illegitimate children that I can't have; he'd rather donate it all to society and charities Jennifer suddenly realized why William wanted her to marry Easton and take Easton's place.

Jennifer wondered, 'Is this will genuine?

'But how could I marry Easton if Natalie and Easton don't get divorced?

'Unless Easton is willing to stand up to Vernon for me.

'Oh right, there's another way.

'If Vernon died accidentally and I found and destroyed his will, there wouldn't be much trouble."

Easton gazed at Jennifer's thoughtful face, a hint of coldness in his eyes.

Jennifer had a stomachache, but Easton was about to have a meeting and showed no intention of getting her any Frustrated, she stormed back to her room.

Easton's remarks tonight were truly humiliating for Jennifer.

Out of gratitude for saving his life, Easton was willing to favor Jennifer a little.

How could Easton not see through her lies?

food.

In the past, despite clearly seeing Jennifer's clumsy schemes and her attempts to frame Natalie, Easton still protected her, albeit reluctantly.

In fact, Easton was raised in a living hell that William had deliberately crafted for him. In this environment, Jennifer represented Easton's sole beacon of hope for salvation, which accounted for Easton's particular favoritism towards her. However, things had changed.

Jennifer felt a sense of insecurity and discomfort, prompting her to promptly inform William about the contents of the will.

William: [Jennifer, I understand that this will is genuine, and that's why you're included in this plan. I apologize for any inconvenience, but once I have everything in place, we can be together.]

Receiving the message, Jennifer was shocked to learn that it was all true. She felt conflicted, realizing she had just been a pawn. Easton's love for her had faded, and he likely wouldn't need her anymore. But how sincere was his previously declared love? Jennifer scoffed, deciding she still needed to keep power in her own hands.

After years of using Easton's connections, she finally made it.

After Jennifer left, Easton started getting ready for the international meeting. 1/4

Chapter 243-

Only Xavier knew what kind of business Easton was actually involved in.

69%

After a fruitful night diving, Natalie returned to the island with Murray by noon the next day, both loaded with success.

Tiana still has some unfinished business there and couldn't go back just yet.

Easton finished his morning meeting and then realized that Murray had taken Natalie back to the city.

Easton stood at the dock, noticing that the weather had changed today.

It was sunny and bright yesterday, but today it was really cold.

Last night, Natalie uploaded nine photos on Instagram from her night diving adventure, showcasing her catch of lobsters, crabs, and fish. Easton never knew she was so good at diving.

After leaving Easton, Natalie gradually revealed her exceptional qualities.

Easton wondered, 'Just how many talents does Natalie have that I don't know about?*

Natalie returned to the city and went to see Jacob.

His grandmother had woken up and could now have some liquid food.

Natalie brought over some lobsters so Jacob could make oatmeal for his grandmother.

Jacob watched Natalie put the lobsters in the fridge, smiling as his eyes followed her.

Natalie turned to him and said, "I brought several lobsters. You should eat some yourself. There's also cuttlefish, which can be boiled, and I brought you the seasoning, so you can treat yourself." "Okay!" Jacob looked at Natalie gently, his eyes fixed on her.

Natalie was busy organizing her things, oblivious to the intense gaze on her.

She said, "Oh, by the way, I caught a large blue crab last night. It was quite a struggle, and I ended up with a scratch on my hand. Fortunately, it didn't penetrate the skin.

"Once your grandma is discharged from the hospital, you can learn to swim, and then I'll take you diving."

"Great! Thanks, Natalie," Jacob said, his eyes focused on her injured finger.

It was just a small cut, and for Natalie, it didn't stop her from doing anything.

Jacob's grandma had gone for a check-up and wasn't in the ward

Natalie walked towards the kitchen, and Jacob quickly followed her, feeling nervous.

He had cleaned the kitchen thoroughly.

Natalie opened the cooker's lid and was met with the smell of something burnt.

Jacob lowered his head like a child who had done something wrong and murmured, "Sorry, Natalie, I'm not very good at making oatmeal."

Natalie chuckled, scooping qut the oatmeal, and said, "It's okay, You should go wait for your grandma. I'll make the oatmeal. It'll be ready in 40 minutes." Jacob asked excitedly, "Natalie, will you stay here for dinner tonight?"

Natalie considered it for a moment before she said, "Sure, I'll cook. Just go wait for your grandma."

Jacob said, "Okay, I'll go wait for Grandma. We'll be back soon."

Jacob looked at Natalie with a cheerful smile.

She was washing a pot, and after watching her for a while, Jacob turned to wait for his grandma happily.

After washing the pot, Natalic took out the lobsters, prepared them, and started making dinner in an orderly way.

Jacob came back and stood at the door, watching every move of Natalie.

Her silhouette was beautiful, and her every action was graceful.

As Natalie turned back, Jacob quickly dodged.

Natalie was busy preparing dinner and didn't notice Jacob watching her.

An hour later, Jacob returned with his grandma.

Emily Parker saw Natalie and was delighted, saying, "Ms. Shawn, it's great to see you again."

Natalie nodded with a smile and said, "Mrs. Parker, please have a seat. I made some oatmeal. Let's have dinner together."

Emily said, "Oh, that's wonderful. Ms. Shawn, thank you so much. You're so busy, yet you still came over to make dinner for us." Natalie said, "I wasn't busy today, so I thought I'd come and visit you. Seeing you recover so well puts my mind at ease."

"Oh my!" Emily exclaimed with gratitude, "Ms. Shawn, it's all thanks to you. You've helped me regain my health and stay by Jacob's side. If I live longer, I'd love to see Jacob flourish in his career and eventually get married." Jacob's face flushed slightly, and he said, "Grandma, you're really healthy now. You should get plenty of rest. I'll make money since I'm an adult now. Trust me, Grandma."

Emily happily sat down and said, "I trust you. Jacob is the best."

Natalie served the dishes she had prepared, among them a mild-flavored salad, considering that older people generally preferred lighter fare.

There was oatmeal, as well as fried calamari.

Jacob hadn't tasted such delicious food in a long time. He ended up finishing all the leftover oatmeal in one breath.

After dinner, Emily lay down to rest.

Jacob accompanied Natalie downstairs to get a taxi.

"Natalie, thanks for tonight. I'm so full," Jacob said, his smile pure and bright.

Seeing Jacob happy made Natalie delighted too. She said, "As long as you're happy, I'm happy. Go keep your grandma company. Call me if you need anything. Goodbye." Jacob barely managed to utter a word when a cocky voice interrupted him, "Hey, Jacob! What a coincidence, running into
