The surrounding audience couldn't help but make side comments and snickered at the no-name nobleman who right now couldn't stand the humiliation that he received and clenched his fists while glaring back at the source of his humiliation.

"Who was that, anyway?"

"Don't know. I think it's just some low-rank noble from some Baron household or something, though."

"I don't know where he got the guts to provoke the Chevalier siblings, especially calling out the First Young Master like they were close acquaintance or something."

"So, another noble wannabe?"

"That no-name nobleman had it coming. He should be thankful that the Chevalier siblings aren't that unreasonable beings who would just outright abuse their authority if they were being provoked in a slightest way."

"Yeah, right? Says that."

The audience whispered more as the no-name nobleman glared at the Chevalier siblings in front of him after experiencing humiliation. The three siblings couldn't care less about his feelings since he brought this upon himself.

'Just because they were Chevaliers doesn't mean that people would blindly just follow and worship this egotistical household?!'

He won't let himself be humiliated like this and was about to retort back when another voice interrupted him once again.

"With all due respect, "esteemed noble", if there was nothing to be discussed, we would like to excuse ourselves since unlike someone at your station, me and my older siblings have important matters that needs to be addressed and couldn't waste our time talking with someone as "esteemed" as yourself, gentleman."

The Eldest Young Lady of the household, Felicity, said with her dignified demeanor while looking at this person who suddenly confronted them and spouted some nonsense without thinking.

Although the words she's spoken are mostly like a polite gesture, but in reality, Felicity is just dismissing the other person like he is nothing else. At that moment, she frowns as she thinks that this situation is a bit odd.

Because she knew that most nobles are arrogant and prideful because they thought themselves as superior to others but knew how to maintain at least a minimal cordial with each other.

However, this person in front of them who Felicity didn't recognize within the noble society just suddenly confronted them without fear.

'Not only that, but this person also didn't even think that he offended a high-rank noble household member, especially an heir apparent such as our elder brother.'

Felicity could only think of one possibility in this situation.

The Crown Prince…

Speaking of the host of this banquet, the Crown Prince wasn't nowhere to be seen and most of the guests invited are already here, but the host of today's event wasn't.

'I won't be surprised if he is watching this show from afar.'

She knew she wasn't the only one thinking about this as she looked at his elder brother who haven't spoken for a while now and only stared at the person who suddenly confront them with his indifferent cyan-colored eyes as if the person was just nothing to him.

"If there is nothing else, gentleman, please excuse us."

With that, the three siblings left and didn't bother to check the gentleman who confronted them, since there are other matters that they need to take care of rather than to play politics with these rotten nobles around them.

...….

...…..

Since the novel [Mystique Enchantress] only focuses on the heroine and her six male leads in a romantic-fantasy school settings, other irrelevant or minor characters aren't that important, and they only serves as a steppingstone for the main characters development throughout the story.

Of course, one of the minor characters was Eclipse, currently named Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier, a minor villain in the early volume of [Mystique Enchantress], a noble young master who was a mediocre and an outcast amongst his fellow peers.

In the original script, Ezekiel was first introduced as a bad-tempered, ill-mannered young master with a sharp tongue that would often lash out with everyone he sees.

Because of his inability to possess his family's bloodline, Ezekiel became jealous of his three older half-siblings and wherever he went, he was always being compared to them and his temper became worse day by day.

However, Aryna Asterrix, his biological mother, taught Ezekiel to never abuse his authority or take advantage of his family's name to bully or undermine other lower-rank noble children. Ezekiel was raised by his mother alone before the Marquis found them.

Yes, that's right.

Ezekiel wasn't born within the Marquis Chevalier household because his biological mother, Aryna Asterrix accidentally had one passionate night with Marquis Augustus Rynus Chevalier and the next day, after knowing the identity of the man she shared a night with, she immediately fled out and cried out of shame of what happened.

She went into hiding and never confided in her family after a month that incident happened, and she became pregnant with the Marquis' child.

Even though she is the eldest young lady of the Asterrix family and her father, the one who leads the Merchant Alliance as the Headmaster, at the end, Aryna Asterrix is still a commoner at birth.

After that, she gave birth to a son and ran away with her newborn child. She knew her son wouldn't be accepted within the noble society because of his half-blood lineage, and she didn't want her family to bear the shame that she did and gone into hiding for eight years.

Of course, Ezekiel's background origin came with him from the system archive when he was thrown back to his original world and for some reason, even though Eclipse doesn't have Silver as his system guide and companion, he can still have access to his own system interface, which makes things a lot easier for him.
