"This is the Crown Prince's Palace. This one could only guide you from here but there was someone who would guide the both of you inside the inner Palace."

Eden said as he stepped aside as he presented the entrance towards the Crown Prince's Palace since he wasn't allowed to go inside the inner palace without permission.

'Phew! Might as well get the hell out of here because of the First Young Master's presence that's killing me. He even glared back at me when I tried to look at the Third Young Master who hadn't spoken since earlier.'

He thought as he sighed waiting for the other noble to dismissed him as it would be rude if he just left there, and he doesn't want to reach this complaint to the Crown Prince.

"Thank you for guiding us here. I hope my words from earlier serves you a lesson and never do that again in the future. You should be thankful that I'm not a petty noble who would just punish someone for their trivial mistakes but that would be the last time, Eden. If this matter happens again, I'll report this to the Crown Prince, understand?"

Eden nodded quickly while trembling in fear just thinking about if this incident had reached the Crown Prince's ears.

"You're dismissed. Remember what I told you."

Eden; "Y-yes! T-thank you for your benevolence, First Young Master! This servant will be on its way!"

After that, Eden immediately left the scene as he didn't want to go there anymore because he felt like he would be roasted at any minute because of the First Young Master's presence.

After the servant left, Altron sighed in relief as he looked at his younger brother's side who hadn't spoken since earlier.

'He must have been pressured by all of this. Who wouldn't if you were going to meet the Crown Prince who you haven't encountered before?'

Honestly speaking, if Altron were to choose, he didn't want Ezekiel to meet that b*stard of a Crown Prince.

It doesn't mean that he wants to hinder his younger brother meeting with someone, and he would be happy if Ezekiel met someone on his age and be friends with them.

However, that's a different case if it's the Crown Prince.

Altron fears that the Crown Prince might want to manipulate his youngest brother, given the circumstances.

Although the Crown Prince is a year older than Ezekiel, Altron doesn't want his younger brother to be involved with that b*stard as he didn't want his younger brother to become one of the Crown Prince's pawns for him to take advantage of.

The First Young Master wasn't an idiot for not knowing how the Crown Prince's thinking by inviting his younger brother within his palace. It seems like the b*stard of a Crown Prince wants to involve his younger brother in the political intrigues happening in the Palace.

The Chevalier household might be a Grand Duke household masquerading as a Marquis, but the household of war heroes still stands neutral in the succession battle for the throne.

Even though the Chevalier household is one of the pioneer households since the establishment of the Empire, up until to this day, the Chevaliers remained neutral as ever.

When the invitation was delivered in the household two days ago by the envoy coming from the Palace, at first, he doesn't know which crown would summon his youngest brother to the Royal Palace because only two people who would have the authority to use the golden envelope with the crown's insignia imprinted on it.

But as he thinks further, it would be impossible if it's the Emperor who summons his younger brother, so it only leaves one person and that's the Crown Prince.

Yohan, the old servant said as he introduced himself and greeted the two young masters from the Marquis Chevalier household.

Altron speaks in a polite manner but in reality, there is a hidden message underneath those kind words that he express and the old servant, Yohan, knew what the First Young Master was implying.

'Like father, like son. There was no fear within those eyes when he said those words. I like this young man's bravery.'

However, Yohan noticed that the other young man, the Third Young Master who was rumored to be a bad-tempered and ill-mannered child was nowhere to be seen by the old man.

'It seems like the scandal about him involving the Marchioness rendered the young child to become timid and anxious child. What a tragic fate befalls to him.'

Yohan saw how the young child looked anxious while his head looked down as his older brother assisted him and noticed how the young child's head was looking around and was on guard whenever they walked into the hallway.

Altron noticed how the old servant was taking a peek at his younger brother, and he cleared his throat in order to get the attention of the old servant away from his brother.

"Sir Yohan, are we still not yet at the Crown Prince's place?"

Yohan snapped and diverted his attention to the First Young Master when he heard what the young man asked him and when he looked at the First Young Master who smiled politely at him, but the old servant knew better than anyone else.

'This young man really knows how to surprise me. Aigoo! It seems like my old age is catching me up.'

"Don't worry, First Young Master. We're almost there."

After that, Yohan finally lead the way and both young masters followed behind.
