'That's an even more problem, you brat! Are you trying to start a rumor here?!'

Altron took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment and after that, he opened his eyes and looked directly straight into the Crown Prince's eyes.

"Your Highness."

Crown Prince Alois smiled back at him; "Yes?"

The First Young Master looked at the Crown Prince with a blank expression on his face as he continued.

"Let me get this straight, Your Highness. Are you planning to involve my younger brother in the succession battle? That's why you wanted to meet him and purposely not telling me in an advance?"

'If this sly b*stard wanted to take advantage of Ezekiel because of his position within our household then, I won't just seat back here and do nothing!'

It might be too late for Altron and the other siblings to make amends for their youngest brother, but Altron was willing to do whatever on his ability to protect Ezekiel from harm.

Even if he needed to make his hands bathe in the blood of others just to protect Ezekiel.

Altron snapped from his thoughts when he heard the Crown Prince chuckle at his statement while looking back at him with a smirk plastered on his face.

'This brat…!'

He gritted his teeth underneath his stoic façade as he didn't want to lose his composure in front of this person and didn't want to make reckless move against him.

"If His Highness wouldn't say anything then, forgive this one but me and my brother would have to leave."

Without waiting for the reply, Altron took Ezekiel to his side and immediately left the Crown Prince's office without looking back.

'This won't end with just one meeting. I know that sly b*stard would still send an invitation to summon my younger brother or worse, force him to comply without anyone's assistance!'

EZEKIEL ZEPHYR CHEVALIER

The Third Young Master from Marquis Chevalier household and the illegitimate half-blood noble son of Marquis Augustus Chevalier from his second unofficial wife whose background is a commoner born daughter coming from a merchant household.

A half-blood noble that couldn't manifest the Chevalier's proud bloodline and was labelled as a disgrace and a good-for-nothing. In other words, an outcast within the noble society.

That's what the Crown Prince of Stellarus Empire, Alois knew and even the whole empire knows about this information about the Third Young Master.

The relationship between the members of the Marquis Chevalier household to the illegitimate born child wasn't that good and rumors about it that after the death of the Third Young Master's biological mother, Aryna Asterrix, that child became a bad-tempered and ill-mannered child and doesn't have a great relationship within the main family.

Rumors about the scandal that happened within that household had reached the ears of the noble society and it was said that the Marchioness had been put into house arrest for an indefinite time because of what she had done.

Not only that, the Third Young Master and his relationship with his older half-siblings aren't that great as well.

Or that's what Alois thought about.

The reason why he invited the Third Young Master Ezekiel to meet with him was because of curiosity.

Rumors about him are that he is the exact carbon copy of his late biological mother because of his rare strawberry-colored hair. Alois had a glimpse of Aryna Asterrix before, so he is quite familiar with her appearance.

Now that he had met her son, it's no longer a rumor anymore but the truth although he haven't seen the young boy's face because he didn't confront him because of anxiousness but the Crown Prince could tell that the Third Young Master is truly an ethereal beauty like his late biological mother.

His father, the Emperor also often talks about Aryna Asterrix as if his father knew her personally.

'I don't know why whenever Aryna Asterrix's is being mentioned, his Father Emperor would have a soften expression despite his rough appearance that he presented in the public.'

Alois thought that Aryna Asterrix was his father's paramour because of how he often talks about her and not only that, even his Mother Empress and the Queen, seemed to know about Aryna Asterrix as well.

When the news about Aryna Asterrix's death, his father, the Emperor had a stoic expression on his face, but Alois knew better than anyone else.

His father was mourning for that woman.

Even his Mother Empress and Queen Eula was also mourning for her that he didn't quite understand.

That's why Alois wanted to meet Ezekiel personally because he wanted to ask the young boy if he knew something.

'Who would have thought that the First Young Master would misunderstand something in here? Heh!'

Alois admit to himself that he would take advantage or use someone at his disposal for his own benefit, be it younger or older ones. As long as he could achieve his goal, he would not stop at nothing then.

However, Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier is an exception.

Alois didn't know why but he had this nagging feeling that he shouldn't do anything reckless to this person that he couldn't understand why.

Alois wanted to laugh out loud because of the First Young Master's bold statement but he restrained himself from laughing and could only smirk just to hide his amusement.

However, as he have done that, it seems like he has been misunderstood by the other party.

« ….. "If His Highness wouldn't say anything then, forgive this one but me and my brother would have to leave." ….. »

And just like that, the First Young Master and the Third Young Master left in a hurry and Alois didn't bother to stop them from leaving because he isn't an idiot to confront the heir apparent of Marquis Chevalier household directly.
