"Arico, what are you doing in here?"

Eclipse couldn't believe who they encountered, and it was none other than Arico himself in the flash.

'What is the notorious agent from the Slayers Department doing here? Is there another world-hopper here aside from me that violate the system law?'

Eclipse thought as he looked at the man who just appeared out of nowhere and he put his hands on Rheina's shoulders as he pulled off the woman to his side in order for her back off since the world-hopper noticed that both sides are ready to engage into a fight.

He knew how strong Rheina is as an assassin and also, her hidden power that she haven't unleashed yet but if Eclipse were to compare the two, Rheina would lose her life within Arico's hands.

Arico is notoriously known within the Main House System as the cold-blooded agent who hunts world-hoppers who dared to violate the system laws or even tried to do something that would affect the balance of the worldline.

Eclipse also knew Arico personally since both became best of friends during their time within the Main House System.

When Eclipse became a novice world-hopper, he met Arico by chance when the latter came back with a criminal world-hopper within his hands and at first, he suddenly became aware of how dangerous the individual they called Arico was, and he avoided him for every possible way.

He also studied the rules of the system law in order for him not to encounter any agents within the Slayers Department, especially the agent they called the most cold-blooded agent of all of them, which is Arico.

However, a sudden event that happened to him during his world-hopping journey as a novice world-hopper, because of someone's jealousy for him as he keeps on performing well within his tasks as a novice world-hopper, a certain senior world-hopper tried to frame him for violating the system law and was caught red-handed in the process.

Those other world-hoppers who joined that senior world-hopper to frame him and even set up him up for the crime Eclipse didn't commit, at that time, he was almost driven to the corner as he remembered the similar scene back then in his previous life where he was accused of multiple crimes that he didn't commit.

When he almost give up, Arico, who just came back from his usual business, suddenly stood up for him and from within his hands are the evidence of those world-hoppers who had accomplices with the senior world-hopper who slandered Eclipse for a crime he didn't commit.

After that whole fiasco, the senior world-hopper and its accomplices who created such a mess, they had served their punishment and their entire existence had completely wiped out and no longer had a chance for them to redeemed themselves for what they had done.

For disrupting the laws of the worldlines and the balance within the world-hoppers that they created, they served to be punished for their crimes.

At that time when Eclipse's name had been cleared and was free of charge within those false crimes, he continued his job as a world-hopper and tried his best not to get on anyone's nerves in order for him not to be targeted again.

However, what he didn't expect was a sudden friendship that he acquired from Arico himself because from what he heard from the other world-hoppers, Arico is the number one agent that most world-hoppers tend to avoid clashing and wouldn't dare to approach the well-known cold-blooded agent.

From that moment, he was anxious and scared of him because of the rumors about him and Arico just suddenly approached him out of nowhere that he didn't know why the well-known cold-blooded agent from the Slayers Department would approach a novice world-hopper like Eclipse.

He avoided the man as much as possible, but it seems like the man would like to stick with him like some sort of sticky slime that he mostly encountered during his world-hopping journey.

Because of his experience back in his previous life and the experience he had as a novice world-hopper back then, Eclipse didn't trust Arico at that time.

However, as thousands of years or more likely, millennium years that Arico accompanied him sometimes after his world-hopping journey, Eclipse choose to trust the man since he saw how much Arico efforted himself to be friends with him and since Arico is one of the senior agents from the Slayers Department, Eclipse saw Arico as his older brother figure.

Now, that older brother figure of his and at the same time, his best friend (terms from the modern worldline) had appeared in front of him, he approached the man and stopped at two steps away from him.

Eclipse sighed because Arico just keeps on looking back at him, but the world-hopper noticed that the other man haven't let his guard down.

'As for someone who has a stubborn heart at most, he still haven't change at all.'

He sighed for the second time as he looked at Arico in a serious expression.

"Well, aren't you going to speak or not?"

Red couldn't believe what he was seeing right now as he read the contents inside the hologram form connected to that worldline when these contents appeared within his eyes.

'How in the world—?! How come the male lead's role suddenly change into a hidden role and not only that, a self-aware character, on top of that?!'

He pulled out the system archive for the [Mystique Enchantress] and looked for the contents in regarding the male leads and he noticed that the sixth male lead's role is vacant for now, aside from the minor villain role that is also vacant as well.

"Just what in the world is happening right now? The world plot progression rate increased a little bit much compared from the previous one, but still, I couldn't connect myself to Eclipse's system interface."

Red mumbled under his breath as he checked the data once more and he noticed something else that made him frown.

Arico sighed in frustration when his system interface alerted about Eclipse's destination, and it stated that Eclipse is no longer inside the capital city and the miles away from Arico and Eclipse is around 58%.

Arico stopped from his tantrums when the system answered him and he suddenly remembered Eclipse's previous life as the Third Young Master of the Marquis Chevalier household, Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier.

He also remembered how Eclipse shared his previous life with him when the two of them became comfortable with each other and trusted one another as Eclipse opened up for him and told his story.

Although Eclipse is aware that his previous life was nothing, but a novel created by the worldlines by their dear Lord God but in Eclipse's opinion, there are some stories inside that world plot didn't tell the whole story at all since that world only focus on the heroine and her six male leads.

At first, Eclipse told him that he resented the Lord God for once because of what transpired within his life as Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier and how his tragic life ended but at the same time, he also thank the Lord God for giving him the chance to be a new person in a new life as a world-hopper.
