Actually, Eclipse's true appearance wasn't that strawberry-colored hair and cyan-colored eyes that most of the people within the noble society known for it.

'That was nothing but more of a façade that my mother cast a powerful spell for both of us to hide our true appearance, but I don't know the reason for that.'

He just happened to learn about his mother's most guarded secret after both Eclipse and Rheina went back to the manor secretly without alerting the First Young Master and even the knights and servants within the manor.

Also, it seems that he wasn't found suspicious by the people within the manor after the two of them returned late at night.

'Well, that's because a certain someone volunteered to cover up for us so that no would suspect that we got out and went to the secret door to walk through inside the Hall of Legacy. Since he personally volunteered then, I hope he would uphold his promises back then.'

Eclipse thought as he remembered that time when he was about to meet Rheina at the abandoned mansion back then, he got a visitor all of the sudden and that person is none other than….

When Eclipse thought of that, at that point, he almost attempted to attack the said young master because of what he knew, and Eclipse didn't know how much information he knew about meeting the previous Patriarch of the Chevalier household.

'Then, it means, Harrison knew that the previous Patriarch wasn't death? How's that possible? Even Altron wouldn't know about this, for sure.'

He thought from that time and almost attacked that person but halted from his steps because Eclipse knew that he won't be winning if they talk about physical strength alone since Harrison is much stronger than him, even though he can use his power, but he doesn't want to expose himself…. Yet.

However, when Eclipse looked into Harrison's forest-colored eyes, the eye color that almost had the similar color but different shades of color that the second young master inherited from the Marchioness, a serious and firm sharp eye as he stated those words back then, he reluctantly accepted the other man's help.

'Although I didn't want to be indebted to him but at that time, I don't have a choice but to depend on his status as the Count and Knight Captain for my advantage.'

He snapped from those thoughts as he remembered that Arico was asking about his current appearance, and he took a deep breath as he speaks.

"As I said earlier that strawberry-colored hair and cyan-colored eyes that most of the people within the Stellarus Empire, especially the Marquis Chevalier household, had known was nothing but just a were façade that my mother cast a spell into it ever since I was born."

Arico raised an eyebrow when he heard the explanation and for the world-hopper to see the Slayer Agent's reaction, he had a perplexed look as he gazed back at Eclipse.

Eclipse took a deep breath as he gazed upon on the fire, they created using a simple magic spell coming from Eclipse since they were in the middle of the forest at night as they choose to stay for the meantime to take a rest and by tomorrow, they would continue their journey.

His eyes never leave the fire as he continued; "I know you're confuse as hell since my current appearance right now if the appearance that most of the residence within the Main House System had known when I joined within the ranks as a novice world-hopper."

Arico, still couldn't understand everything as he asked; "For what I know, your current appearance right now, that snow-colored and lilac-colored eyes, we only concluded that you choose that appearance to yourself since you don't want to be reminded of your previous appearance as Ezekiel, to the point that you even change your name with it."

Eclipse shook off his head as he countered that statement; "They were wrong. I didn't correct them and just let them be for whatever they were thinking since it doesn't matter to me though. Why waste my time to explain things to all of you?"

He paused for a minute as he continued; "And besides, Sir Red knew the whole truth. Somehow, the moment I died back in my previous life as Ezekiel, I happened to notice the sudden power within me suddenly lift and the moment I appeared within the Main House System as a novice world-hopper, this the appearance that most residence of that place had known."

And then Eclipse divert his attention from the fire and looked at Arico once again and said; "Also, about changing my name from your last sentence? I didn't change it but rather, Eclipse was originally my name before I got the named Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier when those people had brought me and my mother back at the Chevalier mansion."

Even though Eclipse finally explained his side, Arico's thoughts still couldn't understand everything, and he had tons of questions that needs answers.

'His appearance was concealed ever since he was born and the named Eclipse is his real name before he got bestowed by a new name, Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier?'

He thought as he think further.

Arico wanted answers to all of his questions but there is one question that keeps on bugging him.

He looked at Eclipse once more as he asked; "Why bother to hide your true appearance and your mother's? Also, how come that you know about this?"

Eclipse knew what the other person was thinking as he answered; "As for how I know, I suddenly remembered from my vague memories about this conversation that I had with my mother when she was still alive. She told me back then that [Don't let others knew what lies beneath the surface I'm representing]."

After that, he paused for a minute and smiled bitterly as he chuckled; "At first, I don't understand those words and up until my last moment, I still don't understand it. I only understand a little bit when I became a novice world-hopper and done mission tasks from my world-hopping journey that I got an idea but at the same time, still couldn't understand it."

The Slayer Agent just listened to Eclipse's explanation and tried to understand what he said but even if that was the case then, there are still some questions that left unanswered.

'From what I know based on the information that was given from the system archive, there wasn't much information about Aryan Asterrix aside from the fact she came from a family of merchants and his father is the Headmaster of the Merchant Alliance on her character background.'

Not only that, but there also wasn't a mention within the system archive about Aryna Asterrix's being able to have abilities since she came from a commoner background.'

From what Arico had known, in this worldline, only those chosen people within their respective households could have bloodline powers coming from their ancestors from the ancient times.

Commoners, on the other hand, could have powers within them but it wasn't that powerful compared to those noble households who were blessed through their bloodlines from their ancestors.

While Arico's thoughts wonder, Eclipse, on the other hand, also wanted to know the exact reason why his mother even went that far to conceal their true appearance and also, he wanted to know about his mother's mysterious identity since within the system archive, there wasn't that much information about her.

'I only knew about this matter from my previous life's memories and nothing else.'

Also, for some unknown reason, he felt that there is something amiss about his memories.

He only knew that his true appearance was concealed ever since he was born since his mother told him about it but… he remembered that she said something else….
