Arico blurted out loud as he looked at the world-hopper with eyes widened in shock because he didn't expect that Eclipse would know about this.

Eclipse snorted back as he said; "Of course, it's pretty obvious no matter how she tries to act presentable in front of the others without flaws. I know she wants to harm me that's why she's being all nice and friendly with me back at the Main House and I, as a person who experiences countless betrayals and sufferings from my original life as Ezekiel, I am no longer stranger to these kinds of things."

Arico thought; 'Would you look at that? I didn't expect him that all those interactions that he had with Kira was nothing but a mere act all along!'

The Slayer Agent knew that Eclipse is one of the world-hoppers who has the best performance when it comes to acting or presenting himself as a different person, maybe because of his experience in his first life as a noble child from a high-ranking household of this world.

'Sometimes, I wonder if the Eclipse I know is someone who only acts in front of me or he's being with his true self then?'

Even though Arico had known Eclipse for a millennium year, but the Slayer Agent seems like he haven't known the said young man in front of him.

'But this is not the time to dwell those useless thoughts since those weren't that important anymore.'

It's so stupid of him to think those useless thoughts that couldn't help them in their agenda, and he shook off his head to set aside those thoughts and focus on the topic at hand.

"Then, if you were just acting all chumming at all with her, did you get something from her? I mean, have you gouge her agenda aside from the fact she tries to harm you?"

For some reason, Eclipse didn't want to tell Arico about Kira's possible motive… yet.

'I have a hunch but telling this to Arico without supporting evidence that could back up my statement would bring unnecessary trouble on my part.'

It's not that Eclipse doesn't trust Arico at all, but the latter man isn't just his close friend but one of the notorious Slayer Agent that most of the residence within the Main House System feared off.

And Arico isn't someone that would just believe someone's statement, even if the one who told him is one of his closest friends.

'He might look cold-blooded and a bloodthirsty agent who only slaughtered criminal world-hoppers, but he is the kind of person who would check actual facts with evidence within his own eyes before he could declare a verdict.'

That's why when Eclipse was framed in a crime he didn't commit and was almost sentenced to cease his existence, Arico is the one who provide those evidence that he presented in the trial court.

'That's why I don't want to tell him yet until I make sure about Kira's actual motive and for sure, she isn't the only one with this scheme. I believe that one Higher Council from Arico's statement from earlier is also involved in this matter.'

Eclipse; "How about the Higher Council that you mentioned earlier that collaborates with Kira? Have you guys track that person?"

As he asked that, Arico only shook off his head and said; "Not entirely sure if they happened to know who it was. Also, about Kira's sudden execution was done in secret and hasn't made in public yet but it won't take too long for it to hide it within the Main House but don't worry, if that happens, the evidence about her crimes had already been compiled in one system and for sure Sir Red had done his part."

That almost threw him off the bat when the world-hopper heard what the slayer agent stated and raised an eyebrow at him.

"What the heck?! And why, of all people, you didn't do the procedure properly and just sentenced her like that privately? Don't you fear punishment?"

Arico shrugged off his shoulder and said; "Well, it's Sir Red's orders and he is the one who order for Kira's execution."

Eclipse frown as he thought; 'What?'

Well, it's true that the agents from the Slayers Department had a rule that they could execute a criminal in their own right if the said criminal proved themselves to be guilty and will be sentenced to cease to exist in the public.

But by doing it privately without explaining the true nature of the execution could lead to a further disaster if things got out of control.

'And that's the least I would want to worry about.'

Eclipse didn't know what they were thinking at that moment. He knows those two aren't that reckless for taking such actions, but the world-hopper didn't have an idea what leads to that situation.

Especially, Sir Red.

The world-hopper knew that his superior wouldn't to do such a reckless decision to abuse his authority to order a death sentence to someone else.

'There must be a reason for Sir Red to take such drastic action for him to execute Kira with the help of Arico from the Slayers Department. Does it mean that even the Leader of the Slayers Department also give approval of this?'

Eclipse couldn't help but feel that something would be happened as days would come by and he didn't know if that time comes then….

'What could he have done?'

"So, based on my understanding, you were transmigrated into this worldline to assist me here for the meantime since my soul energy isn't that sufficient enough and there seems to be a problem back at the Main House System and Sir Red ordered you to stay beside me to act as my guard and protector, am I right?"

Arico flinched as he could see the most deadpan expression that Eclipse could have managed to pull within his face and the Slayer Agent knew what could have happened in….

Arico almost covered his ears because of how loud Eclipse shouted and thank the God that the Slayer Agent managed to put a barrier within the place to block any sound from the inside and the outside after that woman named Rheina left them earlier.

'Geez! This kid sure is a dramatic sometimes if he wanted to be! My ears almost got hurt because of him!'

"Will you tone down your f*cking voice for once?! For someone as old as I am, you acted like some spoiled brat sometimes.'

Eclipse gritted his teeth as he said in an annoyed tone; "Are you itching for a f*cking fight, you moronic b*stard! If you say so then, I'll be happy to serve you!"

The Slayer Agent suddenly got chills down to his spine because of Eclipse's warning.

"Will you just chill for a minute there? Geez! You sure are truly a hot-headed sometimes!"

Eclipse snorted as he crossed his arms in front of his chest and said irritably; "What do you expect me to do then? Just accept to be babysit by you?!"

The Slayer Agent almost groaned because of how Eclipse interpreted in this situation.

"That's not what it means, you idiot! I know you can handle yourself fine, but Sir Red was worried about your safety in this worldline since this is your original life as Ezekiel and was once part of this worldline!"

Eclipse didn't quite understand why Sir Red would be worried about him when this is like his usual world-hopping tasks just like the old times.

"I don't quite understand why Sir Red is so worried about this. This is just my normal job, that's all. But the difference is that I don't have a role anymore and the role of the minor villain is still vacant but when the main story triggers then, I bet someone would take over my former role and I won't be involved within them."

Arico sighed as he explained; "Well, that's true. You're no longer part of this world even though this is where you came from, and this is your first life as Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier but there are things that you need to be careful with."

Eclipse raised an eyebrow as he said; "And what are those that I need to be careful with?"

Before Arico could explained even further…. Both of them got startled when they received an alert coming to their respective system interface.

Eclipse blurted out loud as he looked at his system interface when the contents written on the interface flashed through his eyes.

Arico trembled as he also read the contents of his system interface and it seems like he's not the only one who received such emergency alert.

When both of them snapped from the sudden alert messages that both of them received with their respective system interface, from Eclipse's interface, another system alert flashed through in front of him and the contents written is something that makes the Platinum world-hopper's face paled in shock and fear.
