Chapter 75: Volume Two Prologue: The Rewritten Fate

Most adventurers inside the guild are doing their everyday activities such as taking some commissions from the mission board to earn some money for their living, others would often just laze around or just relaxing with their party members until they wanted to take upon themselves a new task and etc.,

While most of them are just doing their own business, a certain hooded guy at the isolated corner of the guild, away from the center of the attention from everyone else, just doing his thing as he eats and drinks while thinking about the past events that occurred 3 years ago.

'I don't know if I should be angry or just laugh out of it, but I felt betrayed for the second time around. However, I don't know if these changes were going to be a good thing or a bad thing for me.'

As his thoughts ran deep, he felt someone's presence behind him but there was no hostility coming from that person and he is quite familiar with this person as he sighed because he could tell what kind of pranks that this person would do.

"Cease what you're trying to do, Arico. Just how many times should I told you that?"

Arico pouted when he was caught once again as he took a chair and take seat besides him as he shrugged off his shoulders and snickered; "You're almost an adult in this world but sometimes, you're still grumpy as ever as an old man."

He raised an eyebrow at him when Arico said those words to him and said; "Both of us are technically an old man given that were over millennium years old, you idiot."

Arico clicked on his tongue in annoyance and huffed his chest as he said; "Well, that might be true but in this worldline, you're already 18 years old and in just a few years, you'll reached adulthood soon enough."

The Slayer Agent paused for a moment before he speaks; "Hey, are you alright, Eclipse?"

Eclipse placed down the mug that he ordered from one of the servers in this guild just to have some drinks to fill his stomach while waiting for Arico.

When the world-hopper heard what Arico had just stated, he didn't know how to answer that question.

'What do I feel right now? I don't know but since it's already been here then, might as well utilize everything that I got within my own hands. I'll choose my own destiny and if ever, I'll rewritten my own fate if needed!'

He thought to himself as he thinks back then about the events back from 3 years ago…

It's been 3 years since they fled from Stellarus Empire after he woke up from that dream, or much rather called the [System Subspace] where most of the world-hoppers dive into when they were in their unconscious state from the outside world.

As for Rheina, when Eclipse woke up from his slumber, the assassin told him that it's almost a month had passed since then, and the woman reported back to him about what happened when he was still unconscious that time.

The news about him missing had spread like wildfire within the Empire and the Marquis Chevalier household immediately ordered the Elite knights of their household for the search party for him.

Not only that, but the assassin also learned that even the Orexthon from the Crown Prince's faction had mobilized their unit in secrecy to search for his whereabouts.

Knowing the dangers, the assassin call forth her trusted aides and took the unconscious him and Arico back to their secret base that no one knows, even Thesus Yor wouldn't know about that place existed.

Rheina told him that a week later, Arico woke up first from his unconscious state but when he heard the news from Rheina about Eclipse's search party for him, Arico is the one who gave Rheina an idea for those people to stop their search.

And that's to create a clone body of Eclipse and it would be better for the clone body to looked battered and barely hanging to its life.

When Eclipse first heard about that plan, at first, he thought that's impossible to recreate his body since there is no power in this world that could create something like that however….

He almost forgot about Arico.

If there is someone who could recreate a clone then, it's Arico's power or much more likely, his authority.

Arico had another nickname aside from being the notorious cold-blooded agent that most of the residents within the Main House System are aware of.

His other nickname is none other than…. THE MIMICKER.

If Arico suggested about that idea of Eclipse being found battered and barely hanging to his life, one step away from his so-called [death] then, the world-hopper wouldn't mind that much, and he trusted Arico's planned would work.

During his unconscious state, with the joined forces of Arico and Rheina, together with her trusted aides from the Clandestine clan and the Arcanum De Fleur, the operation became successful and not only that, but they also managed to throw a bait about the involvement of the Crown Prince's faction in Eclipse's sudden accident that leads to his [death].

It would be understandable for Eclipse if Arico helped him about this issue but for Rheina who took such great lengths as to not only helped him but also took care of them and lend her manpower to make this matter happens.

< ….. "Why did I go such lengths? Hmmm…. Let's just say, I am just repaying you back for what have you done for me and for my little brother. Because of the [Dawn of Tears], my brother is now in good shape and he's safe with death's door." ... >

When the world-hopper first heard what the Lotus Killer reasonably stated, she paused for a minute and Eclipse remembered her second statement that makes his breath take away for that moment.

"However, I know we only had an alliance and a fair exchange for trade and since both of us had done with that part, I should haven't meddled with your life but for some unknown reason, I feel like…. Something tugs deeper in my consciousness that…. I should protect you with the best of my abilities. I just followed my instincts, that's all." ….. >

He didn't know why but when the world-hopper heard that statement, he felt a sense of companionship coming from the Lotus Killer who declared herself to be his protector for the rest of her life.

After that, when everything had been settling and done, the news about him being found battered and almost barely hanging to his life had spread within the Empire and not only that, evidence shows about the Crown Prince's involvement to this incident also became wildly known not only within the Stellarus Empire but also within the neighboring empires as well.

After a few days from that time, Eclipse was declared [death] by the healers who took care of him.

When Eclipse heard the news, the weight on his shoulders finally lifted and now that Ezekiel Zephyr Chevalier is now confirmed dead, Eclipse doesn't have anything to worry about.

As for the Crown Prince, well, before he left the Stellarus Empire, he only heard that the Crown Prince was under investigation because of his involvement about [Ezekiel's death].

Now, 3 years had passed since then, both Arico and Eclipse just let their feet on the road as they were undecided where to go and settled down first.

During that time, Rheina offered for the both of them to stay at the secret base of Arcanum De Fleur for the time being and since Eclipse had an alliance with the Lotus Killer, it would be much better to lend a helping hand to her in order to overthrow Thesus Yor and his accomplices who dared to take over the Clandestine clan.

Since Eclipse's appearance changed or more likely, his true appearance are now in full display, no one would recognize him as the deceased Third Young Master from the Marquis Chevalier household.

However, Rheina told him that it would be much better for him to put a veil and cover his snow-colored hair and lilac-colored eyes so that he won't be hunted after this mess that they were trying to clean up with.

They planned for 2 years for this mission on how to sever Thesus Yor's control over the Council of Elders within the Clandestine clan and for Rheina to sentence those old geezers to the Scarlet Hall for their punishment.

It's quite easy to stir up those greedy old geezers since they were brought in because of their own greed that offered by Thesus Yor, it would be better to offer them something that they would dream about.

The reason why those old geezers supported Thesus Yor was because of what that traitor of a b*stard had offered them, but they didn't know about Thesus Yor's involvement with the Crown Prince of Stellarus Empire yet.
